“I was weary of eating here after seeing the reviews, but it was the only Subway nearby. There was one employee in the back and one in front. The employee gave us a minute to look at the menu before he approached us. He was very careful preparing our sandwiches and made sure to get every ingredient we wanted. We informed him we'd be paying together, my cousin was second guessing getting a drink and he was patient as she made up her mind. The restaurant was clean and everything looked fresh.“
“Everyone here is always fantastic! The shop is always clean, and even when there is a long wait, it moves along pretty quickly.I'm writing this review specifically for Cody. I have been here several times while he's working, and I have to say, if I owned this branch I would be so grateful to have him as an employee and representative of my business. “Found this place on accident. Surprisingly delighted by their offerings and the quality. First, let me tell you that the large sandwich is worth two meals. But don't let me tell you how to eat their food...just let me tell you what I ordered. I have been here twice. I ordered something different each time. First time, I ordered I got the Americano. Second time, I got the italiano. Omg!!! Both sandwiches knocked my socks off. Chock full of high quality meats and cheeses...and the toppings were an absolute delicious complement to the sandwich. The bread is fresh and soft and a perfect delivery tool for the amazing ingredients.When you get here, there will probably be a line. But it moves very fast. Don't be discouraged. Just get in line. The person taking your order knows all the sandwiches very well and they are happy to help you navigate the menu if you need it. I went with five friends. We all got a different variety of sandwiches. Everyone was pleased.This place also serves as an Italian market. Lots of nice offerings. Including containers of sauces and frozen pasta's and even lasagna. Great idea to take some of these well-made ingredients and make some thing. Fabulous at home. They do have specials. Usually a half sandwich and a side for about the same money as a large sandwich. So, it depends on if you are good at managing leftovers or just want enough food to finish in one sitting. I haven't made my way around to the lunch specials because I'm still working on their specialty sandwiches. Hot tip: get a side of the Italian dressing to dip your sandwich in. OMG! It's so good! They make it in-house and it is very obvious that they put a lot of love into each of their things even their Italian dressing. Are you still reading? Get your butt over there and order something. “I have been going to urbane cafe for about 2 years now, at least once a month if not more. Their salmon bowl is what really got me hooked but at the Camarillo Daily Dr location I had a frustrating experience with one of the staff not wanting to accommodate the salmon salad to my food allergy. Previous experiences I have had with a young man he has gladly changed the dish for me. This is the type of customer service I am used to from them. I am disappointed by my visit today to say the least, I still love Urbane and 99% of their staff. Please be kinder to people who have allergies, we still want to enjoy food just as much as other people.Dietary restrictions: won't accommodate for allergies“
“Ordered online and got two salads. I love this restaurant as the Impossible Taco Salad is one of the few things gluten free and vegan I can eat. No other restaurants have options like that for me. And on my takeout bag it says “quality checked by Jon.” Whoever Jon is I thank you for checking the quality and making sure it was amazing because it was. I don’t normally write reviews but she is a top tier worker. From being greeted to when i walked in to making the whole order she had the best personality and was very friendly. “The employees are very friendly and quick. The food is good, but not amazing. They use high quality ingredients and the Dutch crunch roll has great taste and texture. However, the few sandwiches I've tried there don't have the greatest flavor combinations. Each sandwich felt like it was one or two ingredients swaps away from being great. I believe they are very fairly priced.“
