“I was very impressed by the friendliness and service with Ollo for a recent catering delivery. I called around to several places and with very slow response times and abruptness directing me back to the website for Uber delivery. The host and manager Spencer followed up on the order and went out of the way to make sure it was a great experience for the group and the stressed out person (me:) trying to coordinate for the group. Highly recommend!!”

“I had a wonderful stay at Malibu Beach Inn! The hotel facilities were truly exceptional. The location right on the beach is absolutely stunning, and the views from the rooms are breathtaking. The rooms themselves are elegantly decorated and extremely comfortable, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was enjoyable. One of the highlights of the stay was meeting Realda. She was the most gracious host and her attention to detail was incredible. She kindly upgraded our room as it was my sisters birthday, we had a cake in the room along with a sweet birthday card. She packed up a bag of towels and freshly baked cookies we could enjoy on the beach. She was amazing! Malibu Beach Inn exceeded my expectations in every way, providing a luxurious and unforgettable beachfront experience. I can't wait to return and make more cherished memories at this exceptional hotel.”

“Everything was excellent, except the baked fish which is usually excellent. When we advise that it was tough and an edible we were offered an opportunity to select something else. When we did not, they took the price of the fish off our bill. The food here is usually very good so it was surprising to have something that was not, but the staff handled it so well that I continue to think this is a wonderful good value restaurant.”

“I love accessing the Sara Wan trailhead at Malibu Seafood — it’s one of my go-to Malibu hikes. And after the trail loop, Malibu Seafood is the perfect spot to grab something fresh and enjoy the ocean-view patio. Definitely one of those classic Malibu combos I never get tired of.”

“John’s Garden is one of those true Malibu classics. I’ve been coming here for years, and it’s still one of the best spots in the Country Mart for a fresh, simple, and consistently great meal. The salads and sandwiches are always made with quality ingredients, and the outdoor seating under the umbrellas is perfect for a relaxed lunch in the sun. Whether I’m meeting someone at the Mart, grabbing something quick between showings, or just stopping by for a Malibu staple, John’s Garden never disappoints. Such a great, reliable local spot.”

“I did the takeout but I had to have the Pinot pasta with sausage but the chicken dinner which I wish I could remember the name of that special someone ordered? Was one of the best meals I’ve ever seen in my life and ever eaten… I had to have a bite of hers lol! The penne pasta with sausage was beyond yum!”

“Excellent pizza! The brownie was average but the pizza is delicious and fresh. Parking is easy enough and Whole Foods is right next door. They sell slices, and the prices are fair (for Malibu). The boxes are cute too 😊 🍕”

“We liked it so much we had to go two days in a row. Service was good especially the bar staff on the patio. First day, hubby had the burger…amazing and I had the Tortilla salad…wow!! The white iced tea was refreshing. The second day we shared the crab cakes and the Lobster sliders and those can’t be beat!! The mimosas were delicious because they fresh squeeze the orange juice every morning. If we lived closer this would be a spot we would frequent! It is a must if you are at the Seaport Village in San Diego!!”

I drove by yesterday with my friend Joe on our motorcycles and I felt like having a slice of pizza.
The pizza was so delicious that I ended up eating 5 slices!

“I love the tranquility of sitting outside the service greeted me immediately and I couldn’t wait to order the fettuccine with chicken I understand this place is a little further up Scale in price but it’s worth every penny of it the seating is perfectly fenced off with glass windows but channels are nice breeze that gently cools you while you sit sipping whatever apéritif and enjoying the wonderful bread that is accompanied with a fantastic in-house spread. The fettuccine has larger noodles and you’ll be used to put the texture of the creamy wonderful sauce and the chicken fried so perfectly I blended pepper to give it the perfect aftertaste I literally would’ve eaten 20 pounds of this if I could but this is my special place to come every so often it is a Christmas and birthday gift to myself!”

“If you want to use the words “epic awesome” I think you’d be describing this place they have a lot of fun even actually have a VHS player where you can watch older movies and enjoy yourself seating is incredible especially outdoors because of course you’re in Malibu but I have to tell you the espresso? It’s absolutely perfect I ordered the Doppio con Panna and for dessert I tried out the gelato this is the first time I have a combined it salted peanut butter with chocolate and let me tell you even Reeses couldn’t make something this heavenly! The staff was incredibly friendly the environment was loads of fun and the music was great I love the gelato the texture and flavor well well worth it in the flavor of the coffee was smooth with not too strong of an aftertaste I threw some whip cream on my espresso though because I still have that sweet tooth I just can’t get rid of”

“I brought an East Coast client here for dinner because there’s truly nothing like a December California sunset — and The Sunset Restaurant delivered perfectly. The dining room glows at golden hour, with huge open windows that bring the ocean right into your table. It’s such a classic Malibu experience — warm, relaxed, and never overcrowded. Parking was surprisingly easy too, which is rare for a beachfront spot. Our server was fantastic: friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The food was excellent, beautifully presented, and timed perfectly so we could enjoy the sunset without feeling rushed. If you’re looking for a true “Malibu evening” — great food, ocean views, and that effortless coastal vibe — this is the place. Always a solid choice for locals and visitors alike.”

“This is the greatest summer restaurant ever it was amazing. My 15 and 11 yrs old loved the place, the restaurant has an amazing theme.of course it has inside and outside seating and there’s a beach 5/5 would recommend”
