“This is a hidden gem just off PCH. We absolutely love Country Kitchen!!! Best breakfast burrito in LA in my opinion. The potatoes are seasoned perfectly, the ratio of egg/cheese/potato is perfect and their salsa is delicious! There is parking and some tables outside, great to pick up to-go. We drive from Venice to Country Kitchen almost every weekend to get these.”

“I had a wonderful stay at Malibu Beach Inn! The hotel facilities were truly exceptional. The location right on the beach is absolutely stunning, and the views from the rooms are breathtaking. The rooms themselves are elegantly decorated and extremely comfortable, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was enjoyable. One of the highlights of the stay was meeting Realda. She was the most gracious host and her attention to detail was incredible. She kindly upgraded our room as it was my sisters birthday, we had a cake in the room along with a sweet birthday card. She packed up a bag of towels and freshly baked cookies we could enjoy on the beach. She was amazing! Malibu Beach Inn exceeded my expectations in every way, providing a luxurious and unforgettable beachfront experience. I can't wait to return and make more cherished memories at this exceptional hotel.”

“We had a great experience at Pura Vida and our server AC really made the visit special. He’s an HBCU alum, and we ended up having a really great conversation. You can tell he has a good soul and genuinely cares about the people he’s serving. The service was attentive, warm, and authentic.

We ordered the kale crunch chicken wrap, and it was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Overall, great food, great energy, and a memorable interaction with AC. If you stop by, definitely ask for him. Certified.”

I called around to several places and with very slow response times and abruptness directing me back to the website for Uber delivery. The host and manager Spencer followed up on the order and went out of the way to make sure it was a great experience for the group and the stressed out person (me:) trying to coordinate for the group. “Amazing staff and amazing service!! This is honestly one of my favorite burger spots. I ordered the best burger on the menu and substituted the standard bun with no pickles — it was absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh and perfectly made.

There’s a nice outdoor seating area and parking was super easy, which is always a plus.

“A beautiful day taking a VW Bus tour! Lovely drive in through the mountains to the site, Sonia checked us in and was wonderful. Stephanie was our guide, and we couldn’t have asked for a better one. She was so kind, knowledgeable, attentive and patient. The property was stunning, we tasted 4 (I think!) different wines, chardonnay was a favorite amongst the group. As a local, I cannot believe I didn’t know about this sooner. I will have to come back for a hike tour!”

Onion & cavier dip was tasty; would have preferred tortilla chip or light crackers with it instead of potato chips. The crab claws were a disappointment, small and no flavor. My family and I recently dined at Sparrow Restaurant and had an outstanding experience. “Best rosé ever. To the reviewer who wanted to bring a VW tour group here, this isn’t the right place for it as it’s fairly upscale and intimate inside the Malibu Country Mart. The staff has always been extremely kind and helpful.”

“A stunning spot for an elevated meal with a very laid-back, coastal-chic vibe. The food was amazing all around, especially the shrimp tempura rolls and chicken gyoza, which were some of the best I’ve ever had. The fried rice was also top-notch, and even the regular non-sushi tempura shrimp was really good.

The experience was fantastic, but the calamari was just decent—it could’ve been better compared to how high the bar was set by the other dishes.

Service was amazing! Everyone was super helpful throughout the meal, making the whole visit feel special. Well done Bui Sushi!”

“If you want to use the words “epic awesome” I think you’d be describing this place they have a lot of fun even actually have a VHS player where you can watch older movies and enjoy yourself seating is incredible especially outdoors because of course you’re in Malibu but I have to tell you the espresso? It’s absolutely perfect I ordered the Doppio con Panna and for dessert I tried out the gelato this is the first time I have a combined it salted peanut butter with chocolate and let me tell you even Reeses couldn’t make something this heavenly! The staff was incredibly friendly the environment was loads of fun and the music was great I love the gelato the texture and flavor well well worth it in the flavor of the coffee was smooth with not too strong of an aftertaste I threw some whip cream on my espresso though because I still have that sweet tooth I just can’t get rid of”

“Been coming here for over 35yr. This place has been here for over that.
The food has stayed consistent throughout those years. And that’s saying something.
I can come here and always know what I order is going to have the same excellent quality as it always does.

Here are my top orders.
Vegetarian falafel.
Perfectly seasoned and crafted falafels.
Wrapped into a pita with yogurt sauce, lettuce and tomato. Very simple yet absolutely delicious and fresh.

Cheddar melt burger.
Pretty good sized burger.
Meet is seasoned well. Cheese is in fact melted lol.
This burger definitively isn’t lacking in flavor.

Fries.
Their thick cut fries are from the same distributor as Malibu Seafood. If you ever are craving them. And you’ve been there. You know how good they are.

“If raw/ organic food and smoothies are your things this is a great place. No vegan ice cream but they had raw donuts, chocolate turtles and a fab selection of vegan smoothies. Recommended!”

“There’s something about Malibu mornings that just hit different, and grabbing my caramel macchiato at this Starbucks felt like the perfect way to start the day. The staff here deserves real credit — super friendly, quick with the orders, and even on a busy morning rush they kept the vibe calm and easy. Service alone is a 5.

The coffee? Exactly what I wanted. Hot, strong, and balanced with that caramel sweetness I come back for every time. I’ve been to plenty of Starbucks all over California, but this one keeps a special spot on my list whenever I’m in Malibu.

The interior is clean and modern with plenty of seating inside, and the outside patio is a nice bonus if you want to sit under the umbrellas and breathe in the ocean air just a few minutes away. The only thing that threw me off — there’s no restroom inside. Honestly, I didn’t expect that in a Malibu Starbucks. Not a dealbreaker, but surprising for sure.

Still, it’s all about the coffee and the service, and they nailed both. For me, this place is locked at ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.

Pro tip: grab your drink here before heading down to the beach or cruising the PCH — it sets the tone just right.”

“I love the tranquility of sitting outside the service greeted me immediately and I couldn’t wait to order the fettuccine with chicken I understand this place is a little further up Scale in price but it’s worth every penny of it the seating is perfectly fenced off with glass windows but channels are nice breeze that gently cools you while you sit sipping whatever apéritif and enjoying the wonderful bread that is accompanied with a fantastic in-house spread. The fettuccine has larger noodles and you’ll be used to put the texture of the creamy wonderful sauce and the chicken fried so perfectly I blended pepper to give it the perfect aftertaste I literally would’ve eaten 20 pounds of this if I could but this is my special place to come every so often it is a Christmas and birthday gift to myself!”
