“My first time here. I ordered the sausage burrito bowl with the tortilla on the side. I should have taken a picture. Anyways it was so delicious! Crispy potatoes and eggs scrambled perfect. I loved the sausage too😋 I recommend this for a filing delicious meal.”

“I had a wonderful stay at Malibu Beach Inn! The hotel facilities were truly exceptional. The location right on the beach is absolutely stunning, and the views from the rooms are breathtaking. The rooms themselves are elegantly decorated and extremely comfortable, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was enjoyable. One of the highlights of the stay was meeting Realda. She was the most gracious host and her attention to detail was incredible. She kindly upgraded our room as it was my sisters birthday, we had a cake in the room along with a sweet birthday card. She packed up a bag of towels and freshly baked cookies we could enjoy on the beach. She was amazing! Malibu Beach Inn exceeded my expectations in every way, providing a luxurious and unforgettable beachfront experience. I can't wait to return and make more cherished memories at this exceptional hotel.”

“I was very impressed by the friendliness and service with Ollo for a recent catering delivery. I called around to several places and with very slow response times and abruptness directing me back to the website for Uber delivery. The host and manager Spencer followed up on the order and went out of the way to make sure it was a great experience for the group and the stressed out person (me:) trying to coordinate for the group. Highly recommend!!”

“Malibu Brewing Company is such a great addition to the west end! The beer selection is huge, the staff is always friendly, and the whole space has that laid-back coastal Malibu feel we all love. Great for a casual drink, a quick bite, or meeting friends after a beach day. Definitely one of the best local hangout spots in Trancas. 🍺🌴”

“John’s Garden is one of those true Malibu classics. I’ve been coming here for years, and it’s still one of the best spots in the Country Mart for a fresh, simple, and consistently great meal. The salads and sandwiches are always made with quality ingredients, and the outdoor seating under the umbrellas is perfect for a relaxed lunch in the sun. Whether I’m meeting someone at the Mart, grabbing something quick between showings, or just stopping by for a Malibu staple, John’s Garden never disappoints. Such a great, reliable local spot.”

“I did the takeout but I had to have the Pinot pasta with sausage but the chicken dinner which I wish I could remember the name of that special someone ordered? Was one of the best meals I’ve ever seen in my life and ever eaten… I had to have a bite of hers lol! The penne pasta with sausage was beyond yum!”

“We liked it so much we had to go two days in a row. Service was good especially the bar staff on the patio. First day, hubby had the burger…amazing and I had the Tortilla salad…wow!! The white iced tea was refreshing. The second day we shared the crab cakes and the Lobster sliders and those can’t be beat!! The mimosas were delicious because they fresh squeeze the orange juice every morning. If we lived closer this would be a spot we would frequent! It is a must if you are at the Seaport Village in San Diego!!”

“Cali casual vibe. We went around 2:30p so not a big crowd lunch menu. We had salmon & cod —we loved the flavors. Cod portion was petite so if you get there hungry like the wolf you won’t be satiated but if you order a desert or order an appetizer you’ll leave happy. The eclectic complex flavors make up for the petit portion. Salmon was portioned just about right came in with purple rice. Menu includes burgers & other menu staples but I was wowed by the fish offerings. Suggestions would be put a fan up the ceiling it gets humid inside during the summer & also have ice accessible for the self serve water area. Whatcha waiting for just go! -Malibu Zinque”

“My new favorite breakfast hang-out. Not cheap - but who really wants CHEAP? I had one of the best Latte Macciatos I ever had - their subs were crunchy and delicious, can't wait to go again. Service was very friendly - and the ambiance was very nice.Would I do a 30-minute detour just to eat here (mandatory in my rating scheme to achieve 5 stars)? I certainly would (and just did ;-)”

“I love the tranquility of sitting outside the service greeted me immediately and I couldn’t wait to order the fettuccine with chicken I understand this place is a little further up Scale in price but it’s worth every penny of it the seating is perfectly fenced off with glass windows but channels are nice breeze that gently cools you while you sit sipping whatever apéritif and enjoying the wonderful bread that is accompanied with a fantastic in-house spread. The fettuccine has larger noodles and you’ll be used to put the texture of the creamy wonderful sauce and the chicken fried so perfectly I blended pepper to give it the perfect aftertaste I literally would’ve eaten 20 pounds of this if I could but this is my special place to come every so often it is a Christmas and birthday gift to myself!”

“There’s something about Malibu mornings that just hit different, and grabbing my caramel macchiato at this Starbucks felt like the perfect way to start the day. The staff here deserves real credit — super friendly, quick with the orders, and even on a busy morning rush they kept the vibe calm and easy. Service alone is a 5.

The coffee? Exactly what I wanted. Hot, strong, and balanced with that caramel sweetness I come back for every time. I’ve been to plenty of Starbucks all over California, but this one keeps a special spot on my list whenever I’m in Malibu.

The interior is clean and modern with plenty of seating inside, and the outside patio is a nice bonus if you want to sit under the umbrellas and breathe in the ocean air just a few minutes away. The only thing that threw me off — there’s no restroom inside. Honestly, I didn’t expect that in a Malibu Starbucks. Not a dealbreaker, but surprising for sure.

Still, it’s all about the coffee and the service, and they nailed both. For me, this place is locked at ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.

Pro tip: grab your drink here before heading down to the beach or cruising the PCH — it sets the tone just right.”

“If you want to use the words “epic awesome” I think you’d be describing this place they have a lot of fun even actually have a VHS player where you can watch older movies and enjoy yourself seating is incredible especially outdoors because of course you’re in Malibu but I have to tell you the espresso? It’s absolutely perfect I ordered the Doppio con Panna and for dessert I tried out the gelato this is the first time I have a combined it salted peanut butter with chocolate and let me tell you even Reeses couldn’t make something this heavenly! The staff was incredibly friendly the environment was loads of fun and the music was great I love the gelato the texture and flavor well well worth it in the flavor of the coffee was smooth with not too strong of an aftertaste I threw some whip cream on my espresso though because I still have that sweet tooth I just can’t get rid of”

The dining room glows at golden hour, with huge open windows that bring the ocean right into your table. It’s such a classic Malibu experience — warm, relaxed, and never overcrowded. Parking was surprisingly easy too, which is rare for a beachfront spot. Our server was fantastic: friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The food was excellent, beautifully presented, and timed perfectly so we could enjoy the sunset without feeling rushed. If you’re looking for a true “Malibu evening” — great food, ocean views, and that effortless coastal vibe — this is the place. Always a solid choice for locals and visitors alike.”
