“We liked it so much we had to go two days in a row. Service was good especially the bar staff on the patio. First day, hubby had the burger…amazing and I had the Tortilla salad…wow!! The white iced tea was refreshing. The second day we shared the crab cakes and the Lobster sliders and those can’t be beat!! The mimosas were delicious because they fresh squeeze the orange juice every morning. If we lived closer this would be a spot we would frequent! It is a must if you are at the Seaport Village in San Diego!!“

Offers great drink options and also an extensive wine list (by the glass or bottle). Some of the standout dishes are the "pan roasted wild mushrooms", "braised short ribs", filet mignon & branzino. For dessert the "wonder bar" is a must!“

“Wow! What a find! We came here late on a Sunday morning probably around 11. We ordered a bagel sandwich, a bagel with spread, and a pizza bialy. Everything was delicious and the staff was friendly and efficient. The bagels were so soft and delicious, and they were NOT super chewy where you have to fight to tear off a piece of the bagel. I hate when I can't take a bite of a bagel and easily chew off a piece. These ones were perfect. They have a rotating bagel flavor every day of the week which is cool because you get to try something new. The one we had was cheddar garlic with delicious and copious amounts of roasted garlic confit which was absolutely magical. My egg bagel sandwich they warned me would be messy with the garlic confit, the cream cheese, the turkey, and the tomato, but that's how I like it! Just be prepared! The pizza bialy was so dang good! They put everything on a half bagel so you get plenty of cheese and tomato sauce. Absolutely perfect. This was our first time as we had just moved to the area, but man are we glad we found it!“

This place is now at the top of my list too in Westlake. Hard to find a great sandwhich places and I finally did. The flavors, the Variety of Sandwhiches along with holiday sandwiches to choose from. In this case Thanksgiving sandwhich was available for a limited time but it was so yummy. A place you dont want to miss visiting for sure.“

“The sushi here is absolutely excellent, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. You can really taste the quality in every bite. It’s also such a great value for the price, which makes the experience even better. I especially recommend the vegetarian roll, which was delicious, and the salmon avocado roll, which was perfectly balanced and so satisfying. The specialty dishes are fantastic as well, the crispy tuna dish, in particular, was outstanding and full of flavor.
One detail I really noticed and appreciated was how beautifully they cut the avocado. It’s such a small thing, but it shows the level of care and attention that goes into every plate, making the presentation just as enjoyable as the taste.
I really like that there’s the option to order individual rolls from the menu, which I personally preferred. At the same time, they also offer really good lunch specials that are generous and worth checking out if you want a complete meal at a great price. We came here for dinner and everything exceeded expectations.
Another thing that stood out, aside from the food, was the care and attention from the chef. It’s clear that he pays attention to his customers and takes pride in making sure everyone has a great experience, which adds so much to the atmosphere. The service overall was warm, attentive, and friendly, making the evening even more enjoyable.
I also have to mention the ginger — it was excellent, fresh, and had just the right flavor, which I personally loved. It elevated the sushi perfectly and showed the thoughtfulness that goes into the small details here.
Overall, this restaurant is a real gem. From the fresh and delicious sushi to the beautifully cut avocado, the attentive chef, excellent service, and even the little touches like the quality ginger, everything came together to make it a memorable dining experience. I am hands down without a doubt OBSESSED. It’s so delicious and quite refreshing to know in this day and age you can get a sensible meal that is about the same price as a fast food joint for a burger, fries and a beverage combo. But at Sweetgreens you are getting a meal prepared right in front of you with almost everything freshly diced, chopped, sliced or ready to serve and eat. They have four different flavors of fresh fruit beverages that are all out of this world Yums to the ooze tums and will definitely satisfy your taste buds. If you are a healthy eater or not, you will want to make this place a destination to visit. You will really find it difficult not to enjoy it.“
