“Urbane Cafe is hands down one of my favorite places to grab lunch or dinner! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and consistently delicious. Their Cobb Salad is absolutely amazing packed with fresh ingredients, generous portions, and so much flavor. It’s become my go-to order every time I visit.
What really makes this place stand out, though, is the team. Everyone is always welcoming, friendly, and genuinely seems to care about providing a great experience. The staff works hard, keeps everything running smoothly, and always greets customers with a smile.
Whether you’re looking for a quick lunch, a casual dinner, or just a great meal made with quality ingredients, Urbane Cafe never disappoints. Highly recommend!“

“I've been here a few times since they opened. My favorites are the catfish, shrimp, collard greens, yams, rolls, and hush puppies. The prices are SUPER low compared to other seafood/cajun places and the staff has always been kind. I hope they'll be around for a long time so that I can try everything on the menu 😊“

“Took my pre-teen daughter and her friend out for lunch here today. They have really nice kids menu selection and for a very generous price. I tried their Eggplant parmigiana. It’s huge in portion and very tasty. I was recommended by the nice waiter to have the egg plant toasted extra crunchy and it was definitely working. The restaurant is spacious with many tables. Lunch time was moderately busy. Kids had fun working kids menu craft page while talking with each other. I noticed the screen on the table. Kids said it will be a little extra service fee to use it if you have a gamer. For me I am glad the kids are out of the screen for a while and enjoyed their lunch time. I got some leftovers for extra enjoyment. Overall a really nice place to dine.“

“The avocado burger special and chicken plate with brussels sprouts, beet and carrot were both excellent — fresh, clean, and well-executed. But the real standout was the employee Evan. Attentive, genuine, and made sure we were taken care of the entire visit.
Urban Plates Thousand Oaks is solid, but service like this is what brings you back.“
