“I waited until I went to this location a few times before posting a review, and my thoughts are still very mixed. The food is consistent and well made! With good portions; I can eat one whole bowl or salad by myself in one sitting and be full. It is set up as more of a to-go type of eatery, but they do have one long table and a couple of smaller tables (and an additional couple of tables outside). The service is what throws me off! The first time I went it was okay, second time- amazing, and this last time was confusing. In their defense I honestly had no idea what I was ordering, what modifications I can make, what dressings are available, etc. so I asked a few questions, got more confused and left with whatever they gave me! Still tasted great, I just don't know how to order it again :)“

“We got two lunch specials... The chicken parmigiana and the eggplant parmigiana. YUM! Both came with spaghetti w/marinara sauce, a garlic knot, cans or fountain drinks (they have every selection) and a delicious fresh COLD salad. Dressing was great. When I got back home 10 minutes later, hot food was piping hot. May seem a little pricey for a lunch special ($16.99 and $15.99) but it's a GREAT deal because after lunch it's $22, no drink (worth it either way.) You get what you pay for. Sauce is excellent - tastes like my Italian Grandma spent hours over the stove. Takes me four or five hours to make a sauce that tastes like that. 10 out of 10. Just a touch of sweetness, exactly the way I love it. The chicken and eggplant and salad were great, seasoned just right. My first time here but I will definitely be back to try the pizza. Other reviewers called it a hole in the wall, but I thought it was very nice and clean with great "pizza place" vibe. Other reviewers didn't like the servers, but mine (young man) was very nice and attentive. So all in all, we got two huge meals, which were actually equal to four meals - all for under $35 including drinks, salad, and rolls. Can't wait to try the pizza!!! Kudos to the owners!“

Ordering online was a breeze, and when I arrived for pickup on the designated date and time, everything was prepared and waiting for me, complete with disposable dining ware for easy cleanup. The curry couscous dish was as delicious as ever and quickly became a family favorite. Their salads - always fresh, crunchy, and bursting with flavor, they provided the perfect accompaniment to our meal.“

“TUESDAY FOOD REVIEW...LAZY DOG (again)...11/28/23! Before our haircuts, we stopped at Lazy Dog for lunch. We split their uber yummy Bacon Candy, which is bacon baked with brown sugar, crushed red pepper flakes, and black pepper. Then I had my usual, their Baja California Burger, which is a grilled half pound beef patty, guacamole, hatch chiles, jack cheese, roasted jalapeno-lime aioli, red onion, and lettuce. I had the pickles on the side, and also my tomatoes, which I had grilled on the side. For my side order choice, I got their pickled cucumber salad. This burger is, BAR NONE, the BEST burger ever!!!! When you take a bite, right off the bat, you taste all that is on the burger, which, for me, is a wonderful thing!!! I come to Lazy Dog just to have this burger, and it never disappoints!!!!“

The place is clean (you can always tell by looking at the restroom), the staff who greet you are kind and helpful (if you don't want to talk to anyone use their screens to order. ) Our order was made promptly and there are tables to eat outdoors on the ample patio or inside in booths. Last time we visited there was a $5 menu with a BLT and grilled cheese and those were yummy but were not available this time. This is one place that my whole family can eat at and that is greatly appreciated! Kids meals, and the Santa Barbara char, yum! One order was wrong out of 4 but when I brought it to their attention, it was quickly rectified. At a fast food place you ALWAYS check before taking it home to eat, they are making mass quantities of food!“

I’m usually trying to order on the app at time that’s convenient to me like before driving home or just general chaos of life — really wish I could depend on this app feature but I don’t. “Keyri made the cob salad, which was honestly the best salad I've ever had in my entire life. The lettuce was fresh and crispy and with dressing tossed in it was close to perfection. Giving 4 stars because trying the second time I got a piece of fatty pinkish chicken on my plate. I have a feeling it wasn't made by her, because the Cobb was different the second time around. “
