“As an Italian from NYC who grew up on the best pizza in Queens (Rosa’s), this is likely the best pizza in California, similar to a favorite of mine that closed in El Segundo - the Grimaldi’s pizza chain from Brooklyn. They have a great special before 4pm weekdays, $20 for a pizza pie and 2 real Italian ices.They however need to put in a major renovation on the seating area. Un frost the windows and add new booths and TV’s.And a minor issue they don’t toast the bread on heroes, something I never experienced before. They also need to set aside parking at the Italian ice store beside their place.“
“Great food even though I came too early for pizza. The oven needs to be heated to the right temperature and Lorena was great and wanted me to have a great first impression which I appreciated. Sandwiches and salad are really good. Will definitely be back for some pizza“

“Stopped here a couple of times with our EUC group, taking a breather, and soaking up a pint, before the next leg of our adventure. Good selection of brews and food. The outside dining area suits us well as we are all geared up in off-road safety gear, and have enough space to park our EUC's and helmets.“

Both came with spaghetti w/marinara sauce, a garlic knot, cans or fountain drinks (they have every selection) and a delicious fresh COLD salad. Dressing was great. When I got back home 10 minutes later, hot food was piping hot. May seem a little pricey for a lunch special ($16.99 and $15.99) but it's a GREAT deal because after lunch it's $22, no drink (worth it either way.) You get what you pay for. Sauce is excellent - tastes like my Italian Grandma spent hours over the stove. Takes me four or five hours to make a sauce that tastes like that. 10 out of 10. Just a touch of sweetness, exactly the way I love it. The chicken and eggplant and salad were great, seasoned just right. My first time here but I will definitely be back to try the pizza. Other reviewers called it a hole in the wall, but I thought it was very nice and clean with great "pizza place" vibe. Other reviewers didn't like the servers, but mine (young man) was very nice and attentive. So all in all, we got two huge meals, which were actually equal to four meals - all for under $35 including drinks, salad, and rolls. Can't wait to try the pizza!!! Kudos to the owners!“
“Took some older ladies from my neighborhood for lunch on a day it was raining. Pizza Cookery had fresh food and marvelous service. In fact when our server found out that 2 of us had birthday’s she gave us a free dessert and we had already paid and we’re getting ready to leave. What a fun day to celebrate there. Needs a little redecorating/update and I had a rough time finding it as it’s stuck in an office park next door to a Hotel. But totally worth the time!! Loved it and will be back. ?Dietary restrictions: Had enough options for my vegetarian diet.“

“It is very good authentic Italian food. I’ve had a couple of meals here and they both tasted great. However, they don’t have a very large menu and there were only a few things on the menu that sounded good. It’s also one of the few places I go where none of the appetizers sound too appetizing. It’s not that I think the food will taste bad, it just doesn’t excite me and make me interested in ordering it. The staff is very attentive and helpful. It’s a great restaurant, I just wish they had more things in line with my tastes.“

“Food - always great, fresh, made to order. Service - that's why I'm writing this... we've been to this Mod location many times but the Service tonight was Outstanding. Our pizza-maker was so dedicated, making sure the toppings were evenly distributed and went right to the edge, he even seemed to pause to look at his creation and add a bit more here and there, like it was a work of art. Love this! He also went out of his way to make sure we had all the dipping sauce we needed ( they appeared to be out but he found more). Ambiance - this location has a clean inside as well as a big beautiful fountain just outside the doors so you can't go wrong. Additionally this location hosts fundraiser nights for our high school sports teams so... I'm in. Keep up the great work!“
“Pizza is way better!I recently returned yesterday evening. They have Added some more active games for the kids to interact more and exercise. These new additions are great for kids. The staff was extremely nice and very helpful, they went above and beyond on making my sons experience fun. Thank you to the entire staff who assisted us in the evening. The salad bar is worth the deal, hopefully down the road they add even more salad options. I feel the pizza and salad can really influence parents from bringing their kids to chuck E cheese often.“

“We had a little fun the other day and got slices from a few places we hadn't tried yet (Parma, Slice House and Deninos). Parma was the clear winner for me. Excellent crust that was perfectly thin and crispy, sauce was balanced, not too sweet and not too much of it, cheese was delish and had a nice cheese pull, pepperoni, which I don't usually like) was nice and crispy. The staff was very nice and they looked like they were having a good time working. Will definitely be going back.Parking: The parking lot is in the back, and there is plenty of parking.“
