“Dukes is located on the shore by Malibu and it has plenty of seating to accommodate the large volumes of tourists going up and down the coast. The food was good, we sat in the outdoor patio and got to see wildlife in the ocean.Their in house made Houla pie in the attached image was the main event. Oh my god! The fat kid in me was very very excited and satisfied. It was amazing, nothing beats sitting by the ocean, drinking good wine and eating well.Parking: You can park on the strip right outside the location or paid parking onsite.“

“Favorites from the menu=======ARTICHOKE SALAD: bold citrus flavor, our favorite item we triedNEW STYLE SASHIMI: got the salmon, extraordinarily fresh, deliciousHAZELNUT COOKIE dessert: 6 mini ice-cream sandwiches, strong caramel flavor, melts fastKUROZATO dessert: 3 exquisite vanilla puff pastriesThings we tried but were meh=======CRISPY RICE WITH SPICY TUNA: standard, bite sized, Shibuya does it betterTAI SWEET SHISO WITH CRISPY SHIITAKE: this is a sashimi dish with red snapper; it is a bit more "herby" than than the new-style sashimi; pretty goodSEARED TORO WITH TRUFFLE TERIYAKI (2 PC MIN): standard, I like the seared toro at Kushiyu and Shibuya betterBLACK COD WITH MISO: legit tastes like fish sticks, but melts in your mouthKING CRAB TEMPURA AMAZU: we subbed cod, and it again tasted like fish sticksCRISPY OKRA WITH GARLIC PONZU: garlic flavor was weak, overall pretty standardYELLOWTAIL JALAPENO cut roll: nothing special, the sashimi version probably would have been better; the cut rolls here remind me of sugarfishOoo Mami cocktail: okay, but not that tastyOther thoughts=======The ambiance is stellar. The staff is very professional yet personable--not too formal. They are exceptionally careful about allergies.Overall, fish is top quality but it’s not the best tasting sushi I’ve had in LA. Then again, you don’t just come here for the sushi. Total for above: $200 per person.“

“Wonderful place on the beach!! The breakfast spot is different than the brunch & lunch. The service was excellent. All the servers are kind, gentle and polite people and everyone was serving every table, there was no difference at all .. it was an absolute true meaning of "TEAMWORK". The food was also very delicious. The carrot cake was phenomenal also the chicken sandwich, that we wanted to save it for later as well! This place is a definite "Yes" !!“

“Very nice restaurant in Malibu. Our drinks and entrees were delicious. Highlight was the Tortellini Burro; SO DELICIOUS. Would not recommend the chicken sandwich. No ocean-view seating but still a pleasant spot to eat. Waitstaff was very attentive and kind.“

“This is an iconic NY city pizza spot that attracts crowds in NYC.They are famous for their square cut pizza by the slice loaded with pepperoni. There are several locations that have opened up recently in LA and I finally got to try our La version of the famous pie to see how it compares to the one in NY.Honestly I couldn't tell the difference! Same great taste! They offer pizza by the slice or by the whole pie. It's a quick and easy spot since everything is made and they heat up the slices in the over for you. They offer 3 different style pizzas...the OG square cut, a thin crust and a thinner square style pizza. My all time favorite one is the "Naugtht Pie" which has spicy vodka sauce, loads of pepperoni, fresh mozzarella, ricotta and a hot honey drizzle. DELISH! It's the perfect balance of sweet and savory.Definitely a great addition to the LA pizza scene!“

“Excellent customer Service!!! The Ambiance and the cafe it’s so cozy.I ordered the French Toast Latte, it's just amazing. They have the best coffee ever!!!!Then I had for lunch Burrata Sandwich, they proposed me to toast it, that was incredibly yummy ? I will return again definitely“
“Loved this location so much. It’s right next door to Nobu Malibu and the view of the ocean is gorgeous. Valet parking available. This location had a lot of families with small kids present so the vibe was more laidback. We had lunch here and we appreciated how often the manager came to check in on us.For the four of us, we ordered the lobster bucatini, crudo, green salad, cod, and crudités. For dessert we got the Eton Mess and cookie crumble with ice cream on top. Everything was so tasty and pretty. My favorite was the lobster bucatini. We all got some cold pressed juice to drink with our meal and ended with some matcha lattes (we needed caffeine to wake us up after the feasting we did). Plenty of seating to do work and again, the view of the water can’t be beaten. There is beach access so I would suggest bringing your suit and a paddle board or surfboard if you have time to play in the water.“

“I love this place. The location and experience are super fun. The drink selection is fantastic and the line moves fast. Sitting on a patio in Malibu watching kitesurfers and hoards of motorcyclists is always a good time. The last three times I was there the food was genuinely disappointing. I have been back, which should tell you that I have such positive memories it's hard to quit it anyway. Twice I have ordered the scallop basket and the scallops are half raw and this last visit the fish tacos had flavorless, textureless fish. I will say that reported concerns are swiftly handled and food gets reissued without a problem. I truly think it's a volume issue, as they are rapidly putting out an enormous amount of seafood on the weekends. I would bet that quality is must better on a weekday. I will still surely be back, just hopefully on a Wednesday. ?“

“Delicious family owned restaurant that is always worth the drive. The ravioli are the best I’ve had but the orecchiette is so so good it is always tough to decide what to get. The desserts are incredible too! The staff is attentive and charming. Nothing to complain about at this fantastic restaurant.“

“This place is a staple of Malibu eatery. I get off in the morning, so a trip to Lily's for a breakfast burrito or a chorizo burrito is very common for me to eat on the drive home. Great selections of tasty items to choose from. Stop by, and you will not be disappointed at all.“

“Arrived two minutes before they closed. The hostess got us seated, and that’s where I met Brandon. Bradon was outstanding. Providing excellent recommendations. Extremely respectful with an amazing personality. I asked him if there was anything he could recommend off the menu and he recommended this red snapper, which was unbelievable. Providing us priceless experience!:)“
“This is one of my favorite midweek places to have a quiet business or personal brunch or lunch. It just feels like one of those places that would be attached to a resort hotel, without the hotel. It's out of the way so almost no tourists, it's super chill and a great way to take advantage of our beautiful weather.Very polite staff, nothing fancy, just beautiful mountains, lots of natural greenery and a bright pretty indoor area with a fabulous fireplace in inclement weather.I absolutely used to go crazy over their Curry mango chicken salad, I wish they would bring that back. Good for sandwiches, light salads, eggs. It's a fairly small menu but easy to find healthy enough options, as well as traditional hardier brunch selections.“

“Phenomenal! Still dreaming about the Khao Soi (noodle curry). Probably the best Thai curry I've ever had. It packed so much flavor and depth. The cut of beef could be better quality, but it's a real stand out curry dish that I highly recommend.Pad See Ew also very good. Portions are generous. Service is very warm and friendly. The place looks like a shack on the side of the road, but it's definitely worth a visit.I recommend dining in versus take out to really enjoy everything hot and fresh.Parking: Initially parking looks limited, but there are a ton of spots in the back. The parking area is horseshoe-shaped, one way entrance/exit.“

“So I seriously wanted to try everything on the menu, especially looking at the yelp pictures lol. The all American burrito was good, personally I needed to add salt on the eggs, but it was still deliciously enjoyable. You're in Malibu so the ambiance, view, weather is beautiful! All the employees were super nice. Definitely have nothing to say but great things about this place :)“

“Recently came to Malibu and stopped by here to get a meal after a hike. Iv passed by here a few times before and usually go to broad oyster co, but decided I wanted to try something new. It's in a beautiful shopping center with other restaurants and can sometimes get crowded. The ambiance here is beautiful, inside and outside, so it's worth dining in! I got the Smokey bbq bacon cheeseburger medium well with fries. The burger was big, juicy and flavorful. It's defiantly a hefty burger so don't underestimate it. The fries are decent , could use more seasoning but they're still good! Prices are a bit hefty at $20, but it's Malibu and some of the cheaper options in the area. Definitely gonna try more stuff here after hiking !“

“We were driving through Malibu and were getting hungry. Found this place along the way and thought we'd give it a try.You can park on the entrance street, in a lot behind or the lot along PCH.Smaller inside, both some bar seating and normal table service. They have tablecloths for dinner but not for lunch. We tried to seafood pasta and the Loco Moco. Of the two the pasta was the right choice. If you love Loco Moco, you need to go to King's Hawaiian. But, if you want some seafood pasta, this place does a very good job.Easy parking, friendly service, free refills on soft drinks, worked for us. Enjoy!“

“It's a perennial favorite due to the location. This was the first visit ever where 2 managers visited every table. That was a very nice touch. The problems here are the same as always: the parking is a nightmare, the wait just TO park can be a nightmare, and the space is simply too small for the number of people it holds. For a peaceful place across from the ocean, the atmosphere inside is chaotic. There really isn't much room to expand unless they go vertical, and considering the odd layout (and broken elevator) that's probably not even an option. I would choose to take an Uber in to the side street and avoid a car if at all possible. That will make it much less stressful.“
“solid acai bowl spot! the only reason why i'm giving this 4 stars is because i feel like the price point doesn't really match the quality. my boyfriend got a mango/pineapple smoothie (i forgot the name and price) and i got the samurai bowl. the bowl was about $20 total which i don't think is worth it. although they did give alot and it tasted amazing, it wasn't anything special and i feel like id just stick to Blue Bowl. but if you're in the area, i think it's worth trying! it's in malibu mart and the place is so fun to be in and hang around! workers were also very nice.“

“We came to Malibu with a larger group for my sister’s bachelorette. We booked at Taverna Tonys because we heard about the good vibes, belly dancing, and live music on the weekend. Let’s just say this place did not disappoint!Great food, fantastic service, fun Greek wine & the best vibes! We danced the night away. The staff seemed to be having just as much fun as we were, which is always great to see. Overall amazing experience from the first interactions with the hostess, to the great drinks at the bar, the wildly impressive backservers carrying our huge trays of plates and the fun server! Thanks again. We will be back!“
