“Summer Somewhere Wines is a very small wine shop near PCH in Malibu. It's located inside the Fred Segal store but offers wine tastings. The brand is family-owned consisting of a seasoned wine maker husband and an artist wife that make their wines in Santa Barbara County. They have different types of wine tastings including whites, reds, and a mixture. We got the surfrider tasting ($30) which included 4 of their white wine offerings. The staff was very friendly and it was a good place for an afternoon wine tasting.“
“I brought a friend from out of town here for lunch. she'd never spent any time on the West Coast and she loves seafood. We had a window seat and a wonderful view of the ocean waves. My friend ordered a Paloma cocktail and our waiter told her about their Paniolo cocktail. We learned from waiter that it was made with agave spirit. She loved it. I had to have a taste and it was delicious. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful. I ordered the Mango BBQ Chicken Salad, hold the corn, and it was so good I finished the whole thing. My friend had the Chilled Shrimp Salad and was able to substitute the Thousnd Island dressing for something else, on the side. We had an enjoyable lunch and I look forward to my next visit to Duke's Malibu.“
“My husband and I had the most wonderful time. Right when we got there, the valet was inviting and wonderful, even recommending favorite dishes. Ali, in particular, started our night off with the best vibes. Our dinner experience was absolutely incredible. The appetizers and food were first class, as was our interaction with the manager, Meghan. She made sure everything was perfect and had us laughing! We are absolutely coming back for more!!“
“The food was good, but a little pricey for breakfast. The service was pretty good until the waitress went on break and didn't tell us. There was no backup coverage. I would have preferred to sit inside because it was cold that day, but we would have waited longer since it was busy when we arrived. This was my first time dining at Sunrose.“
“I had heard so many good things about Moody Rooster that I was worried it could be overhyped. Nope. Not at all. Amazing would be an understatement describing my recent visit to Moody Rooster. The place was poppin and really good energy on a Saturday night. The service was impeccable, and our servers recommendations were on point. I was feeling special so I ordered the ribeye special. This was by far one of the best steaks I've had in a really long time. It was cooked perfectly, and the sauce was so tasty. The duck fat potatoes have me drooling just thinking about them. The caramel budino was the perfect dessert to top off a truly delicious and impressive meal. I can't wait to come back.“
“Some restaurant menus make me feel good, prompted by good ingredients, spotless floors and a staff that understand that it’s as hard to keep a customer as to create a new one.Other places, and you probably know of a few, offer a lot of pastas and entrees, or maybe a few signature dishes that make a place unique, but disappoint when overpaying for a lower experience. I wish them well. But some restaurants surpriseme. I just had lunch at Basta, in Agora’s Whizzin Market and gotta say I’m surprised, and a little miffed.Sure the staff are great with each one genuinely happy I came in. They even smiled. The atmosphere is open, inviting, warm and has a great combination of Mexican blues, warm tones, and wrought iron.I’ve never been here before as Whizzin Market is a little out of the way for me.But in spite of all the reasons it should have all been in the feel good category, my lunch went another direction.I had originally thought to order one of the bowls which cater to veggie, meat, or fish prefs. The Jidori Chicken Bowl seemed my speed which I asked about. My server, Cruz asked if I wanted the roast chicken or the bowl?Roast Chicken is my comfort food and I lost my mind for a beat. Then committed a classic amateur restaurant goer move:The panic order.“Roasted, please,” I heard myself say. Cruz refilled my coffee and disappeared. The dice now rolled, I waited. The chicken was good. No, not just good, but magnificent. So good I felt a mix of relief, surprise and annoyance. None of this was directed at the staff, Basta’s management, or the even the poor chicken.First, being from a small town in Indiana originally, I’ve eaten chicken at least 23x a week since 1970 and I’ve never tasted chicken like this. From the light golden sauce to crispy skin, it was ideally cooked and served immediately. I had no idea. No exaggerating.Second, that this lunch in terms of price point is a super value. Check the menu when you stop in, but you’ll find Basta a wonderful value for the level of care and attention to it all.All that to say, I’m so mad I haven’t been here earlier. Regardless of the distance, it should have been on my list.Consider yourself warned you may feel the same.Parking: Get here early if Canyon Club has a show.“
“This place is absolutely amazing! The food is just incredible and the view is breathtaking. I can't get enough of the delicious dishes they serve here. The drinks are also top-notch and the staff is so friendly and welcoming. Overall, everything about this place is just great. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience.“

“I forgot how much I loved The Six! We hadn't dined here since the pandemic, and we're excited to finally get to the new location. The buffalo cauliflower and brussel sprout appetizers were hits with our whole table. My favorite menu item is the garlic noodles!“
“Love this place for when I really want to treat my family to something special. I had Spanish mackerel sushi which was was smooth and buttery. The waitress suggested the banh-something roll and I was quite pleased with the flavor... the spicy little kick at the end was good and not too spicy. The only hiccup was that the waitress forgot to put my mom's order in, so unfortunately it came much later, but I'm still eating it a 5 stars because the manager took care of it right away and the waitress did a great job otherwise, from answering all our questions, seeming very knowledgeable, and asking if we were there for a special occasion; it was my son's birthday and the free mochi dessert was a lovely touch ?“
“Really beautiful restaurant and our service was very good. Our waitress was very polite and informative about the area and answered all of our questions. The food however, must be like this because of the demographic. But we were expecting a more authentic Mexican experience. It was enjoyable but not exactly Mexican food more fusion. Will definitely return for the atmosphere though!!“
“Very upscale movie theater. If you like flying in first class, then this theater is the "first class" of movie theaters. The pictures below show the seating arrangment. There is a full restaurante menu on each table for the guest. The menu includes a wide variety of food items as well as a full bar menu (beer/ wine/ mixed drinks). A server comes up, takes your oder and other server brings it to your seat. The popcorn is refillable for free. Press the button on your armrest to call for service. The personnel respond right away. The food is well prepared and delicous. The natchos are first class. The sound quality is top shelf. We watched "The Beekeeper". Great action movie with great amenities.Try out this venue in Westlake Village, CA.You won't be disappointed.“
“Got to together with some work friends. Sat at one of the picnic tables. Pretty cool set-up. Small working vineyard. Cafe style. Cheeseburger was large and juicy. Fries were done right. Pizza was tasty. Non gluten Margherita pizza was delicious. Was a fun place to hang out with people. Fairly crowded on a Sunday. Good place to relax, sample some wine and get a bite to eat.“
“We have been going to Rosti for the past 5years. During this time, we have had Sabrina as our server for the many times we have eaten there. She is one of the best servers we have ever had at any restaurant we have visited. She is so efficient, the orders are always perfect, she is cordial, so sweet and above all so professional. Rosti is very fortunate to have her as one of their staff members. Thank you Sabrina for making our time at Rosti so enjoyable every time you are our server.“
“We had a great experience!Caesar is an amazing waiter, anticipated our needs before we needed them, extra glass of ice WITH the tea!!!! Sauces, extra napkins it was a pleasure to feel served and we appreciated it! I will totally be back and will ask for Caesar!Food was cooked nicely, served hot, tasty and delicious!! ?“
“I was really stoked to have found such a classic, while my way up the coastline. This place has the feel for the kind of mental imagery, or thought bubble, that comes to mind when you think of the phrase," local seafood restaurant," and the food definitely didn't disappoint us either. The entree portions leaned more toward large and the servings were generous in all areas of the menu, we felt like overall, it was a good value for the money and favoured the taste saved on the roof of a seasoned pallet, as well as, the satisfaction of the wide eyed stomach to the pockets of the people profiting behind the brand.“
