“Only stopped here for cocktails but rather magnificent views of the ocean. There's not too many bars that are actually on the ocean along LA, as most are on the other side of the PCH. Unfortunately you are behind a glass wall, so you don't get a true outdoor feeling. Cocktails were good but, not surprisingly, it's a bit pricey.“

“Chela’s Cantina is an awesome spot to kick back, have fun, and enjoy a great night out. Thursday karaoke nights are definitely my favorite — great energy, good crowd, and always a fun atmosphere.

“Tried line dancing for the first time here and absolutely loved it. Even though the place was packed, it never felt chaotic or overwhelming, which made the whole experience really enjoyable.
As someone who had never done line dancing before, I really appreciated that there were beginner-friendly dances as well as more advanced ones for experienced dancers. One of the nicest parts of the night was simply watching the couples on the floor, they were clearly having a great time, and it added such a warm, fun energy to the atmosphere.“

I would buy flowers from the woman that stopped by every night.. i told her I’d buy flowers for all the women but she couldn’t say who bought them, so they thought Ben Chaplin was buying them. “We had a nice existing, outdoor table stand with a weather destroyed table top. I shopped on the internet for a nice, teak table top. Restaurant Seating Barn Furniture had a good selection of teak table tops at good price points. We ordered a 36” round, teak table tops at and we really like it. It arrived in short order and the quality was nice. I teak oiled the top and bottom. It turned out fabulous!“

“I stopped here to watch the Dodgers World Series game 1. This is the local dive bar, the crowd was loud but the Dodgers had a walkoff home run so I was expecting some noise. Pool table was old school, only a quarter to play with a chalkboard of who’s next. I had a fun evening and the lady behind the bar bought me a beer, how often does that ever happen. Yes, it’s tiny but get there early, secure your seat and you’re in for a ride of the greatest cocktails served up by a ladies and gentlemen’s gentleman - the maker with the shaker, Bill. Went last night with my kids to celebrate my 54th bday- we sat at a cozy booth in the main room-everything delicious from the garlic bread with marinara sauce, calamari, piccata, chicken parm, Alfredo, puttanesca and tiramisu for my bday with a song- which a lot of places don’t do anymore.

The meal was quickly made; I only waited a few minutes for the extras to come out, but after that, it was enjoyed by the food court.“

“We came to Paragon Bar and Grill for brunch right after my daughter’s graduation from CSUN. I found the place through a quick internet search and didn’t really know what to expect, but I was able to make a reservation online for a party of 13 with no issue. Our reservation was right when they opened at 11am on a Sunday, so we pretty much had the place to ourselves—just a couple of people at the bar. The space definitely leans more bar than grill, but it worked well for our group. Very low-key and relaxed. The menu had plenty of options, which was great since we had a few picky eaters. Everyone found something they liked, and the food was excellent across the board. The service stood out—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We didn’t order many drinks, but even so, I was surprised at how reasonable the bill was for such a large group. Only downside: the bathroom could use a refresh. It’s what you’d expect in a neighborhood bar—functional but not the highlight of the visit. Would absolutely go back. Great experience overall, and I really appreciate the staff for helping make the day special.“

“Had lunch here with my friend and had a great experience! The salad wasn’t quite to our taste, but the staff kindly took it off our check, which we really appreciated. Everything else was delicious, fresh, and served very quickly. The service was excellent and attentive. Highly recommend this place, and I would definitely come back again!“

“My husband and I usually go during happy hour for their poke nachos and crispy brussel sprouts but have tried a few other things. Everything we've tried has been delicious but occasionally varies in preparation quality. We went on March 18th and ordered the poke nachos but they were not as good. The portion was a lot smaller than usual, so we decided to order another one. The second one came out great (I included a picture of the one prepared correctly) and that's when we realized they left off ingredients from the first one sent. They were still good but it was interesting that the two plates were that different. We didn't mention this to our waiter and I'm sure they would have been accommodating but maybe plates should be checked for quality before they're delivered?

Another note, we usually sit at the bar but we got a table the last time since the bar was packed. We were obviously fine with this but the cleanliness was extremely lacking. The menus had food on them and greasy fingerprints. I'm also not sure why the booths are never wiped down?? The tables are cleaned but the food just lands on the seats. Then you're wondering what else isn't cleaned, look around, and notice all the other spots that aren't wiped down. So gross.“
