“A perfect stay!! Celebrating my husband’s 60th! From the time we arrived, the service and attention to detail was impeccable! The entire staff was so welcoming and went out of their way to make sure my husband was enjoying his birthday celebration. It was our first stay at the Maybourne. It will be the only place we stay from now on. Thank you so much to the entire staff for making our stay so special.“

“El Carmen is more a bar than restaurant. It has an awesome atmosphere and the largest tequila menu I have ever seen. The food was small plates but really plenty filling once you eat the chips and salsa. The veggie nachos looked to be a good value as well as the quesadilla. It’s a fun place perfect for drinks and lite eats.“

“This was our first time visiting Los Angeles and the West Coast, and since we’re considering moving from the UK in the future, we really wanted to experience what nightlife in LA actually feels like. Finding Bar Next Door turned out to be one of the best surprises of our trip.
The place has an amazing chilled atmosphere, excellent staff, and genuinely great cocktails that are neither overpriced nor watered down — something that can be hard to find. One of the coolest details was the music being played through a vintage tape player, which gave the whole bar a unique character and old-school charm.
The location also felt safe and welcoming, making it easy to relax and fully enjoy the evening. Definitely recommend this place if you want a more authentic and laid-back West Hollywood experience.“

“This place is awesome and has unexpectedly delicious food! The kitchen is open late, and despite us arriving an hour before close, they kindly served us and the food was unexpected yummy. Delicious sweet potato fries, burger, bowl, and others. Wish I took more photos, but we were busy eating. Lovely dive bar ambience. Will definitely come back!“

This club has a classic, dark nightclub atmosphere that really captures that vintage Hollywood vibe. At the same time, there’s lots of seating around the floor, which makes it easy to relax, people-watch, and take in the scene when you need a break. 💃🕺

“This place is a haven for ALL of geekdom. As a fan of the show, Fatman Beyond, we HAD to visit the Scum and Villainy Cantina during our SoCal vacation. It was even better than we imagined! It was smaller than expected, but what it lacked in size, it made up for with ambience. It was obvious how much heart went into it's creation. You could see J.C. Reifenberg's passion for sci-fi/fantasy in the decor. In addition, the staff was so incredibly friendly, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The menu was creative and the food/drinks were delicious. To top it all off, Bamf Man, himself, came to our table and talked to us while we were there! Incredible experience! “I sometimes go on Mondays for karaoke. There's not a lot of gluten-free food, if you need that, but they do have great salad and are more than happy to work with you. The staff is friendly and you may get to meet Ben Onyx Dowdy from Abbott Elementary (among other things) because he usually runs the karaoke.“

“Funke is an elegant restaurant serving genuine Italian food . The menu is like a restaurant in Italy. Appetizers and desserts are meant to be shared. The food is perfectly prepared and suitable for both eating and Instagramming. Funke is fine dining and the prices reflect that. We had appetizers, a pasta course and desert with one drink per person for $200 each“

“We had a nice existing, outdoor table stand with a weather destroyed table top. I shopped on the internet for a nice, teak table top. Restaurant Seating Barn Furniture had a good selection of teak table tops at good price points. We ordered a 36” round, teak table tops at and we really like it. It arrived in short order and the quality was nice. I teak oiled the top and bottom. It turned out fabulous!“
