Best late night spot!
Great lil dive bar with a theme. Theres mood lighting, lucha Libre decor, drink specialties and delicious bites. They have late night happy hour specials as well. The service is quick and friendly.
Awesome little place. Their shrimp appetizer is bomb. Amazing tacos- would recommend the carnitas or carne asada. Great late night place with deals after 10pm most nights.

The service is excellent, with friendly and attentive staff ensuring a great experience. The food is deliciously authentic, with standout dishes like tacos, especially the mushroom, shrimp, and beef tacos, as well as nachos and red sauce chicken enchiladas. Chips and guacamole are always fresh and tasty, and the margaritas are considered some of the best in the city, especially during happy hour. While parking can be a challenge, valet service is available. El Carmen has effortlessly aged into a classic LA mainstay, offering an excellent early bird menu and a great vibe, with unique decor, friendly bartenders, and solid drinks.
