Zinqué Malibu Reviews
Cali casual vibe. We went around 2:30p so not a big crowd lunch menu. We had salmon & cod —we loved the flavors. Cod portion was petite so if you get there hungry like the wolf you won’t be satiated but if you order a desert or order an appetizer you’ll leave happy. The eclectic complex flavors make up for the petit portion. Salmon was portioned just about right came in with purple rice. Menu includes burgers & other menu staples but I was wowed by the fish offerings....read full review
Use free range or halal chicken. I can taste and feel the difference.
Our food was good and we'd definitely return at a time when there wasn't a live DJ -- we went during an event and it was very loud and had a young crowd of party-goers.
Other than that the staff was friendly and helpful, and they accommodated our group of 7.

Zinqué Malibu offers a casual and relaxing dining experience with a Cali vibe and beautiful outdoor and indoor seating. The restaurant is located conveniently close to the beach, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing meal. The menu features a variety of dishes, with a special highlight on fish offerings like salmon and cod, which are praised for their flavors. The salmon comes with purple rice and is served in a portion that is just about right, while the cod portion is petite but made up for with eclectic complex flavors. Other menu staples include burgers, potato gratin, and bolognese, which is described as filling and amazing. The potato gratin, in particular, receives high praise, with some customers ordering extra sides because of its deliciousness. The restaurant’s pricing is considered decent, offering good value for the quality and location.
Service is generally friendly and attentive, with staff quick to refill waters and assist groups. Parking is free, and the atmosphere is inviting, though live DJ events can make the environment loud and less suitable for conversation. The restaurant can get humid in summer, and suggestions include adding ceiling fans and accessible ice for self-serve water. During busy times, the staff handles groups well, though some reviews mention slow service mid-meal caused by external disturbances, such as disruptive guests. Overall, Zinqué Malibu is a good choice for those seeking tasty food, a relaxed setting, and friendly service, with some minor issues related to noise and humidity. It’s a place that encourages casual visits, offering a pleasant Malibu experience with a focus on eclectic flavors and good value.
