About Paradise Cove Beach Café

Paradise Cove Beach Café is a classic beachside restaurant and tavern in Malibu, offering a mix of tables and beach chairs on the sand. The menu features a tropical drink selection, and the atmosphere is enhanced by interesting history on display. The food is good, with excellent breakfast options that are worth the money, even though portions are large and to-go boxes may be needed. The café provides a beachside setting where guests can choose to sit inside away from the wind and heat or outside with their toes in the sand while enjoying the ocean view and watching surfers. The sound of the waves creates a relaxing environment, especially during breakfast. While the food can be pricey, the huge portions mean you likely won't leave hungry, and desserts are a treat. Service at the café is friendly and welcoming, with staff sharing smiles and providing great service. Guests have noted the food and portion sizes are great, though drinks can be pricey. The atmosphere is fab, with a relaxing ambiance of watching the waves, though the service may be slow at times. Overall, the beachside setting and ocean views make for a memorable experience.

It's a beautiful location, but the recent storm damage has not been repaired. It's very clear. They haven't made any recent investments into improving the condition of the interior. The service was almost horrible. We probably waited 20 minutes for our wine. The food was good I had linguine with clams, scallops, calamari and shrimp. Was an excellent size portion swordfish was excellent, but the service was horrible and the place is really rundown. It used to be very charming,...read full review
There were 3 of us in our party and we shared the clam and lobster bake. It was plenty of good for all of us plus leftovers. The Aperol spritz was delicious. The ambiance is what makes this place special—you feel like you've gone on a tropical vacation with outdoor tables in the sand! We will return. The only thing I would like to see changed is, parking should be free with validation, not $15.
Everything was great. The only bad thing was I forgot my sunglasses in the ladies bathroom and when I went back to for them they were gone. I went to the front desk and nobody returned them. I called again today and nothing. Other than that the food, the view and the service was great!
