The ambiance was good, the services quite quick and attentive. I ordered a Carne asada burrito which we ate before I could even take a picture....as it was delicious. The carne asada torta was quite good as well. I was craving pupusas and that is the reason we tried this place, I'll have to try to.ordered it with easy cheese as it was quite salty, but the beans and pork in it was delicious. Overall it was a pretty good experience. I'll recommend it and come back to try another...read full review
Heartache Xpress is a hidden gem tucked away in the Simi Valley Town Center. The food is truly authentic and extremely tasty. Offering a wide variety of Mexican dishes such as gorditas, sopes, and pupusas. The asada was especially tasty.The staff was friendly and there was a pleasant family vibe. If you're looking for an authentic taste of Mexico, visit Huarache!

I love the service and food. I gave it 4 stars because it was cold inside. I did not say anything to the owner, so that was on me. I am sure that they would have tried yo accommodate. Seriously fantastic mango margaritas! And everything I've tried is delicious. If you are in a hurry order ahead because it is made fresh. Otherwise, order a margarita and stay and enjoy.
