“I love coming here after a day of shopping. The food is just okay to be truthfully honest. There has been a change in the items for the food menu a while back and was sad to hear that they don't make the chicken sandwich anymore. They made a new menu basically and while although it's simple the soup and salad is great. The ambiance is very nice. The service is also good the servers are kind.“
“I stopped by for breakfast on Easter Sunday with my family, and enjoyed the 3 egg omelette with home fries, family ordered pancakes & steak and eggs. Food was made fresh, portions a bit small but good overall. We also enjoyed a live Jazz music band.“
“Don't be fooled by low reviews. Great place that my family has been coming to for 25 years. I've never found better Pupusas Revueltas. I still have core memories of my Dad and Grandpa letting me choose my favorite songs on the old jukebox they used to have. Service is always nice too. A little hidden gem.“
“My wife and I came by here for a family get together and had a blast. The food was absolutely delicious. We love sides and had the Mac & cheese, collard greens and my favorite, the black eyed peas and rice aka The Rolling Johns. The owners really make the place special, and we were fortunate enough to have a quick conversation with one of the owners Chef. You can feel the love in the food and the building. Hands down the best soul food I’ve had in Los Angeles.“
“Food is delicious! Been here twice and it doesn't disappoint Service is fast and efficient. Servers are attentive to their tables! Just amazing!Highly recommended for authentic Mexican breakfast, plus i love the music! Got to hear PXNDX! which is one of my favorite bands !“
“Great food and great service.Vegetarian options: Plenty of options.Dietary restrictions: I had a lot of modifications and they were more than accommodating.Parking: Easy and a lot of parking.Kid-friendliness: Kids are very welcome. Great place to take the kids after a game.“
“Didn't want to be stuck in traffic for over 2.5 hrs to get home, so I decided to come here and grab a drink, watch some games, and let the traffic die down. They have minimal parking on the street but a large parking lot to the back. I was the first one here for at least an hour, which was really nice. They got televisions all over the place. So no matter where you sit, you get a good view of the game. They got some upbeat music playing loudly over the speakers. Some real head bangers!! Got me tapping my foot and bobbing my head!! It's somewhat dark, but well lit with all the neon signs and tvs. The booths were also really comfy. The waitress I had was amazing. Super nice. Checked on me frequently, since I was the only one there for a while. Very conversational. Great at small talk, so thanks. Knew the menu well. They have daily happy hours of beers, some food. And being a Tuesday, it was taco Tuesday!!!! Tacos were $2.50 each. I ordered one of each and they came out early quick. Feels like the ones you get right off the streets of LA (in a good way). Lots of protein. Packed with toppings. Double tortillas. More sauce on the side. They were all really good!! I had a couple of their beers. Had one on tap, an IPA, as well as another one in a bottle. Vibes here are really cool. It was nice just to sit back, kind of put my feet up and chill. Everyone was super nice. Upon request they can turn on the volume of any of the games. Unfortunately, someone requested the soccer game to be played on blast. Which killed the music. But I had been there a good 1.5 hrs by then, and I guess that was my cue to leave. And it only took an hr and 10 min to get home, mission accomplished!!“
“I was in a part of town I rarely visit & played "Yelp roulette". I rust type in "highest rated" in current location & see what looks interesting. I'm glad I found CF Food Kitchen. It's a fairly nondescript restaurant with a simple interior in the corner of a small pod mall. It was "Wellington Wednesday". Other items looked great, but I've never had beef Wellington, so I figured, "Why not???". It comes as a three course meal plus warm, perfectly crusty bread. I picked lobster bisque which was very rich, creamy and lobster-forward even without many (any?) lobster bits. I took the desert to-go. The key lime pie was solid. The Wellington was good, not great. The pastry was kind of doughy & the mushroom duxelles was fairly flavorless. Luckily the beef loin and Demi glacé were excellent. Also the dollop of whipped mash was great with the Demi glacé and a few small veggies. The roasted gold beet was small, but the star of the veggies. The server was amazing: warm, welcoming, caring and knowledgeable. I hope I'm back in the area to try other items. They definitely focus more on the food than the ambiance, though.“
“If you haven't been here what are you waiting for? From the moment that you walk in the door, you are greeted with the biggest smiles and open hearts. It's the best fine dining Simi Valley has. The service is spot on. Christina and her crew are always at your table checking on you. The food never disappoints. So many delicious options on the menu. My favorite is the filet mignon in peppercorn sauce it's top quality meat served with the fresh vegetables and mashed potatoes or sometimes I switch and have mushroom risotto delicious. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. Also excellent wine list and homemade desserts. Creative salads and freshly made soups. Like I said what are you waiting for? Call and make a reservation. bon appetit.“
“Went today for the first time. Was with a large group for the Sunday Brunch. Service was excellent, and there were plenty of food choices for $40.00. It was a great deal. The waffle with lemon ricotta and blueberry sauce was a hit. The prime rib was so tender we didn't need a knife. Omlette station had great choices, and the Mac and cheese was delicious. We will definitely go back. The Manager mentioned an Easter bunny on Easter. Bowling upstairs. So fun you could stay all day“
