FINALLY a restaurant of "over the hill" quality and vibe in our neighborhood! The food was even better than i could've imagined ... the staff is beyond knowledgeable of the menu and friendly .... now i have my "go to" spot ...

Prose Kitchen and Bar is a lively and fun addition to the dining scene, with a fantastic atmosphere thanks to a great remodeling job. The staff is eager to please, and the chef personally checks in about the meal, a nice touch. Dishes like the beet salad and miso cod are delicious and beautifully plated. The squash blossoms are a favorite, and the melon cucumber salad is also loved, though it may be a seasonal item. The braised short rib lasagna is another winner. The service is perfect, with hosts remembering guests and servers providing good guidance and timing. While the wine list has some great options, like a featured chianti at a great price, some find the wine list prohibitively expensive, suggesting a need for more affordable wine options for regular visits.
