As a resident of Simi Valley for over 20 years we have frequented Redds many times over the years. We took a chance and decided to have them cater our daughters wedding a couple of weeks ago. Our daughter was hesitant to use Redds after their recent inspection. My wife spoke to the owner (Kyle) and set up a private tasting for the bride and groom. That sold them! Had a great takeout experience. Used their home delivery and it was quick, the driver was courteous and food was delicious. Tri Tip, Chicken, BBQ chopped and spinach and artichoke dip were delicious and the garlic rolls, addicting. I appreciate everything arrived in an insulated bag and was still hot.

For decades I have been visiting this place. It tends to have a crowd most times, and fortunately I've not had that long of a wait to get a table.Their ice tea in jars is cold and delicious, with the warm plate of soft rolls a great compliment. I ordered the Tri Tip, which came well-done abd the beans and Mac n cheese. Good choices. She had the Cobb Salad with Grilled Chicken ... which seems to be awesome whenever she orders it.Going back again this week ... can't wait!
