Great food, get the asada burrito it’s one of the few spots in Simi with real Chili Arbole sauce

Fantastic food. My go to spot for tacos for sure, but they have plenty of other great menu items. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Not a place for a group of people to go and have a sit down meal. Otherwise fantastic spot, if you've never gone you should.
Great street tacos. Salsa verde is really good.

Nunez Taco Bar & Catering is a small, hole-in-the-wall spot in Simi. It is a mom and pop's place that serves authentic food at amazing prices. The menu has great burritos, nachos, fries, birria, and tacos. The asada burrito is a standout, and it is one of the few spots in Simi with real Chili Arbole sauce. The asada fries are also a favorite. The tacos are excellent, with options like asada, carnitas, and lengua. The green salsa is fabulous, the red one is fire hot, and the guac sauce is out of this world. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. It is not a place for a group of people to go and have a sit down meal. The food can be about 50/50, either amazing or not very good at all. The carne asada has seemed very different depending on the visit. On the best visits, the carne asada tasted excellent. On a most recent visit, it tasted like the quality was much lower and almost as if it had been boiled. The owner is encouraged to make sure the cooking style stays consistent from visit to visit. Orders can be placed in advance for parties.
