Nice Selection at Fair prices. The Sushi is actually nice. It's large and clean except for the Graffiti filled restrooms. It's worth it for a change and better than most buffets in Ventura County. The servers could be a little more friendly, but maybe most clients don't leave a tip. If it was closer to my home, I would go about once a month.
When you think about a buffet this large, especially with raw seafood and it's not in Vegas, but rather a run down ex-Elephant Bar restaurant, you may pass, but it's really not that bad. Yes the atmosphere is no nonsense in and out stuff your face for $16-20 bucks, but I havn't gotten sick yet after 4 or 5 visits so that's a plus. I am genuinely impressed with this establishment. We came in not expecting much and pretty much ready to walk out if we didn’t like what we see. We stayed. Food was pretty decent. The sushi bar is well stocked and replenished constantly. The stations are clean and constantly checked and wiped. The raw and cooked fish were both pretty decent.
