Staff was very friendly and attentive. Nice size portions. Food was good but not the best. Tempura was a bit greasy, miso soup salty and dressing on Bento box was not the traditional type, it tasted like store bought dressing. Yellowtail was good but didn’t like the sweeter sauce they put under it. Again it wasn’t bad but I don’t think I’ll return.
Hands down, the best sushi restaurant in Moorpark and the surrounding area! The fish is so fresh! We enjoy both eating in and bringing home. Ambiance is lovely. The owner always remembers us and makes us feel like family. Just a tip- they're now open on Mondays!
