“Just had this yummy Thai Food, love it! The staff is very friendly and the name of the restaurant is fantastic! I'm not sure if there's any relation to the one in Morrow Bay?The one up there is also fantastic! I asked for "spicy" next time I will ask for extra spicy! I love spice, the Thai Chili's were definitely hot!!“
“Nice cute cozy little restaurant. Plenty of chairs with pillow seats. Food os fast hot delicious. The Thai tea was refreshing. Move staff. Very popular place. Good food. I had the Beijing noodles combo dish.Parking: In a small plaza corner lot.“

“Discovered this place when looking for Thai food close to where I live. I was pleasantly surprised with the selection they offered. While everything has increased in price, I'm not complaining because their food portions are fairly large.Everything that I have bought there has been tasty, I can't complain and I've been there a couple of times since. In South Florida correct“
“I randomly walked in here. Was hesitant but ended up having one of the best fried rice of my life! The owner didn't really speak much English and told me I would like the beef fried rice. I didn't know what to expect to be honest. It tasted so flavorful and unique that I still think about that beef fried rice and their special chili sauce to this day. ? Next time I have to try more dishes. Definitely looks like small mom n pop restaurant with limited seating. My total was about $20 dollars for just the one dish but honestly the meal was worth it.“
“Went here for Sunday lunch. Service and food were great. The inside is pretty small but clean and bright. Most people were doing take out so seating is probably fine even during busy times. We got both Thai and sushi entrees and they did not disappoint. Will definitely be back.“
“WOWOWOW!!! this is 100% farm to table. I cant believe how incredible this food is. This could be the freshest food ive ever had...its really honestly that fresh!!!DEFINITELY try the home made hot seasoning...o...m...g......and ive never had a a thai ice tea... again...o....m....g......The owner couldn't have been nicer! What an awesome thai place!!!“
“Came here on a random week night and was pleasantly surprised! Portions were appropriately sized but could be bigger, I came with a party of 4. We ordered 6 dishes and finished all the dishes, and the pricing of the dishes was amazing! Now for taste, the dishes look simple but were very flavorful and definitely packed a punch. Some of our favorites included pad see ew (food wok air flavor), garlic Chinese broccoli with crispy pork, and the Panang curry. Service was also quick and kind which we appreciated. Would definitely return again for a quick meal!“
“A nice, family owned Thai restaurant with good prices and massive portions. This is a great place to go if you’re waiting for your appointment at SDI across the street. I had the pad thai without egg to make it vegan and they happily accommodated. Will come back again.“
“If you are looking for a clean, great service, and good pho place this is the place to go! The place is very laid back and perfect if you're going with your love one or going to have a catch up with a friend. So far this is also the best egg roll we've ever had. I am definitely going back!“
“Most excellent. Service is amazing, warm, attentive, and friendly. They always check up and make sure your meal is exceptionalPlace is immaculately clean, and the atmosphere is chill and very comfortable. The food is absolutely top notch. Flavors and portions are are more than satisfying on every dish I've tried. I will note if you really like spicy you have to ask, and probably say extra spicy, they are cautious, but then again I am a maniac to some friends for the level of spicy I enjoy.I had the red curry and orange chicken today. The curry was just what the doctor ordered as I was just sick a few days prior, nice amount of chicken, they hook it up decent. Flavor was scrumptious especially poured over the brown rice. Just felt like ultra dank delicious nutrition in every biteThe orange chicken was some of the best I've had, very nice crunch, and the sauce made it taste like this divine candy, so sweet and crunch with super delicious bites of chicken, it was too good.In the past I've had the crying tiger, yellow curry, and chicken satay. Every dish has been fantastic, and satisfying. Trust, you will be pleased. The chicken sate had huge fat pieces of dank chicken compared to some places, and the peanut sauce was on point. Highly recommend the crying tiger as well. Everything here is fire, especially the staff ❤️“
“This is my favorite Thai restaurant in the valley! I've tried quite a few places and so far nothing compares. I liked to order to go though because it is a hole in the wall. They maybe have 4 tables inside. This is not a place for ambiance. Some of my favorites to order are the pad Thai, Tom kai Kai soup, the green curry, the panang curry, mango chicken.....“
“Mee Dee Thai Kitchen operates out of this Northridge-based food hall and pumps out some really solid Thai dishes. Our favorites are the pork belly, crab fried rice, chicken satay, and pad khee mao. We've been less impressed with the pad thai and a few others, but overall Mee Dee is a really solid choice for Thai food. When we're in the mood for take out Thai food, Mee Dee Thai Kitchen is often one of the first to pop up.“
“The best pad Thai I’ve had in a long time. I got mine with shrimp and it was delicious! We also had spring rolls to start along with Thai iced tea and Thai coffee. Highly recommend checking this place out! They also have parking spaces available, but not many.“
“I’ve never made a review before but this place was too amazing now too! Best Thai I’ve ever had and the people that work here at the best! Guarantee you’ll have a good experience ! I’ve come here multiple times and they never miss !“
“Great Thai food for reasonable price. It's a mom and pop shop so they take great pride in making their food. Large portions too! Be aware that it's take out only so no sit in dining. The owners are so sweet and they always remember you by name.“
“I recently had the unique opportunity to photograph The Original Khun Dang Thai Restaurant for a project with Doordash. As a commercial photographer specializing in gastronomy, I've witnessed many establishments, but this one truly stands out. From the moment I stepped in, the staff's warmth and the welcoming atmosphere set a fantastic tone for the session. Although I didn’t get a chance to taste the dishes, I captured their visual appeal and the passion the team pours into each presentation. Each dish reflected a balance between art and tradition, a testament to their dedication to authentic Thai cuisine. As Daniel The Photographer based in Los Angeles, I pride myself on collaborating with local businesses and highlighting their uniqueness through my lens. This project was more than just an assignment; it was an experience that allowed me to appreciate the beauty and effort behind each plate. If you're looking for an authentic culinary experience with exceptional service, The Original Khun Dang Thai Restaurant is definitely a place to consider. And for businesses seeking to capture the essence of their brand through high-quality photographs, you can count on me to bring that artistic and professional vision.Thank you, The Original Khun Dang Thai Restaurant, for a memorable session!“
“The food is so yummy, it was great trying out this new place & Jayne (Jane?) was amazing she was so sweet and friendly when I came in to order, very accommodating and even brought me water while I waited. It’s so refreshing to go somewhere to order & you’re greeted so kindly with a very positive sweet attitude. Thank you Jayne!“
“Went in for an early dinner on a Saturday. Had the daily special of Chicken green curry, salad, egg roll, and white rice. Great flavour! Not so much food that I felt bloated afterwards. Service was prompt and friendly. And the price was great, too! ($14.50) I’ll be back the next time I’m in Van Nuys.“
“My wife and I went here for dinner we had Pad Thai we also had some vegetarian egg roll. The food was very good the chicken in our Pad Thai was a little bit dry otherwise it was excellent. The people were very nice it's a small place but comfortable. We will definitely go back.“
“This Thai restaurant is a hidden gem! The vast menu offers something for everyone, and the portions are incredibly generous. My Pad See Ew with chicken was delicious, and it was enough to share with my toddler and have leftovers. The atmosphere is fun and inviting, with plenty of seating and friendly service. I can see why they're so popular. As I was leaving, they had a ton of to go orders ready, so it’s definitely a popular spot with the locals. They even have ample free parking, both on the street out front and in a lot out back (accessible through the alley).“
“The food was amazing! My friend and I got the chicken hotpot, satay skewers, and fried noodles. The atmosphere was so nice, and perfect for hotpot. The wait wasn’t too long and the server was so kind! It’s a nice cozy restaurant, with amazing food, and kind workers I highly recommend!“
“Amazing sushi hidden gem. The fish is incredibly fresh. I usually do not eat sashimi my friend is a local and he recommended I tried and I'm glad I did. tuna Toro, tuna belly, salmon scallops were all wonderful. On weekends they have music. They do sake time shots.Parking: Small parking in front“
“The service at Coco Thai Kitchen restaurant is top-notch. From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us with warm smiles and made us feel like honored guests. Our server was not only knowledgeable about the menu but also offered insightful recommendations based on our preferences. The impeccable service elevated our dining experience.“
“The food is so good and fresh. The portions and price is reasonable. I ordered through the website and it was very easy to order. I believe the restaurant is only doing takeout. The chicken fried rice and pad sew ew are delicious and have a very good taste.Parking: If you are coming in from Reseda, you will have to go in through the bike lane and then make a right turn into the lot“
“I was not able to take pictures of everything we ate because I just couldn't wait to eat them. Not only did they look so good, they smelled so yummy and so we just ate them all up! Everything we ate were so good , and also the customer service was superb. Place was so clean as well. Overall, 5 stars for sure!“
“This is my favorite Thai place. I’ve been coming here for years, and they never disappoint. My favorite dishes are the roasted duck curry, the papaya salad, the pad see you and the tom yum soup. Ive tried many of their dishes but always come back to my favorites. The owners are very nice & polite. I’ve had great dine in experiences and also pick up/take out. Also LOVE their thai iced tea. If you’e in area I definitely recommend this place!Parking: Big parking lot for the entire shopping center. I’ve never had an issue finding parking.“
“Excellent local reseda Thai location! They have Me Grob (spelling?) which is a hard dish to make and they did it so good yummy! Pad Thai is the best thing so far, the short ribs little tough but flavor was there so still good just would not order again. Thai tea so yummy and comes with meal. Very friendly.“
“SO SO SO brilliant! This woman has basically made it POSSIBLE for me to make DELICIOUS bespoke Thai in my home. I have had the great privilege to travel the world and have had amazing Thai in great restaurants around the world. Blows my mind that I can now prepare it in my own home with her PERFECT recipes using her very well priced pastes and sauces. Wow. just WOW. Thank you from the bottom of our happy bellies and hearts! BTW I bought mine at the Brentwood Famers Market on Sunday. But happy to know I can get it online too! Amazing. Truly. Why eat out?“
“We have been getting take out for 5 years. Dined in and the service was exceptionally good. Busy Saturday night and the delicious food was very quick to get out. Pad Thai , Pad See, grilled pork, and snow peas with shrimp.Gonna enjoy the leftovers today!“
“Oct 2023Good, fresh food. It's delicious. I was happy with the value for the price we paid along with what we got in terms of quality and portion size. It's more on the takeout side, but the service is top notch if you dine in.4 tables for 4, 2 tables for 2. This place is definitely cozy. Lol. The front is right on the corner. If you blink, you'll miss it.We ordered the:Pineapple fried rice $16: Great, chewy rice, and they use broth for flavoring. The little bit of fresh scallions gives a nice grassy note.Paht Thai w Chicken $14: zippy! The noodles are tender, and you can taste the peanut. It's sweet.NY Steak with lime & cilantro Salad aka Neuh Nahm Thouhk $20: tasty, zippy. Love the lime kick, and the cilantro adds that signature Thai grassy freshness. The beef was tender, cooked perfectly.Thai Iced Tea: steals the show. Yum! It's got notes of mellow spice blend flavors. It's deep and rich. This is definitely not your average iced tea with cream in it. There's more to it.Iced Jasmine Tea: try it with cream like the Thai Iced Tea. This adds a nice, cool refreshing aspect to the drink.Parking: As far as I know, just street parking. There is no "lot in the back" or anything.“
“What a wonderful little restaraunt. The star of the show is the quality food. It's definitely Fusion, it's not 100% authentic Thai but that's what makes it great. This is a regular once a month visit for me. My favorite menu item by far is the Garlic Filet and Green beans but all the Filet menu items are delicious. Their red curry dishes are also quite wonderful. Everything tastes fresh, is cooked to order. Some menu items are priced reasonably, others are a bit high but I've never left unhappy with the food.It is a small restaurant, usually quiet, service is like a family restaurant, They are polite, fast, and attenuative. If you're looking at the location and wondering if you should try it, definitely give it a shot. The only real negative about the place is the shared parking lot is really tight, often busy. I've always found a spot, but it is close quarters driving.Vegetarian options: They have many veggie only dishes and they'll make any meat based dish without the meat.“
“I'll make this quick and simple because you need to get Thai'd up now.Great food. ???I recommend the ones we ordered. See pictures ?Just show them the pics and they'll know what they are.End your experience with Mango Sticky Rice. ???The only thing I didn't like is that their receipts are not itemized ? ask for an itemized receipt. ‼️You're welcome. ?Parking: Ample parking lot but carpool if possible.“
“Northridge Eats is one of the BEST places I have ever gone to. My son loves the Bellyful chicken. He said that he loved the seasoning. and my daughter said that MEEDEE fried rice was soo good. I wish something like Northridge Eats opened in London.“
“Straight bangers up in this joint. Them bbq ribs are the size of dinosaur bones. Always tender and delicious. Larb salad is always on point. Golden shrimp are an absolute must. Radnah, so good you’ll slap your mama. If you want spicy, trust me, they got you.“
“Wings were very good, I tried the rice noodle, was good orange chicken, and their Wongton soup was okay. They're were fixing the air. It was hot she charged me for 2 lemonades I felt that she could have given a free refill. Very expensive and a little bit of food. I spent 61 dollars and they were small containers not enough to share with three people.“
“I had a dinner for 3 with my mom and grandmother, the 3 of us were surprised by the place, it's decently sized and extremely clean. They had some Thai beer which is great if you wanna try a new drink, the Thai soup is amazing, very tasty with a hint of lemon juice, we ordered a papaya salad, and 2 different dishes of noodles, everything amazing and it came very fast, tasty, and the guy that made the dishes made them look beautiful. It's a Sunday afternoon so the place it's pretty empty, service was extremely fast and friendly, it's an amazing place to eat! 10/10 would recommend!!!!“
“This restaurant deserves more than five stars! Get the Alaskan Salmon—it's really, really good. This place is less than a block from my office, and the Thai tea did not let me down. I'm not sure why I hadn't visited before. It's quite affordable because of the fair costs.“
“This is one of my favorite local Thai food spots in the area. The food here is really good, especially their pad Thai, yellow chicken curry, pineapple fried rice, and beef satay. While the prices are decent, the portions are quite small for the price you're paying. Additionally, the restaurant is tiny and tends to get packed, so expect to wait for a while. However, the servers are really friendly and fast. I would highly recommend this place for its delicious food and excellent service, but be aware of the portion sizes.“
“I was going to another establishment and passed them. When I was done and passed by again, the owner came outside and asked if I wanted a special. I looked at the sign, and he got me. I got the pineapple curry with chicken with the special and sticky rice with mango. I was pleasantly surprised. The curry pineapple was great, and the sticky rice with mango was . The restaurant is small and clean and I look forward to going back again.“
“Here's the story of how I found this hidden gem. Several years ago, I had heard that Khun Moo Thai was a favorite of students attending CSUN. So, I gave it a try and was impressed. They have a vast menu that delivers in a small dining in space. This is a warm mom and pop eatery that does a tremendous job. I went back again and this time too, ordered their combo butter sauce special with beef for carry out. I asked for it spicy. It was hardly medium, but they obliged to my request of supplying thai chilies with fish sauce & chili oil. Both of these condiments enhanced the dish. Beef is battered before it is stir fried. Was chewy, maybe because it was a carry out. It also lacked any sauce. The combo comes with fried rice, wonton, egg roll and vegetable soup. Overall the preparation was good. Need to go back to taste other interesting items from their menu.“
“Hidden gem on ventura. I have been going here for years and have never been disappointed. Their thai iced coffee and iced teas are incredible, i often stop for a drink on my way to work rather than starbucks. Their chicken pad thai and curry are by far the best items on the menu.“
“We have been ordering food here for 6 years and we Love it. We are picky and consider ourselves foodies. This Thai food hit’s the spot. It’s delicious and always fresh. Our favorites are Fried rice combo, pad see ew(spell), curries, glass noodle salad, and larb and various others.“
“Today I got Paid Thai with tofu. It was excellent as always. And I got egg rolls, they were delicious. I would recommend this restaurant. I used to go to the one in Agoura since 2001, now I live closer to this one. The service is just as good.“
“Great Eatery!!! After we had the bad experience at Aikan Sushi - we ended up at Thai Bamboo last night. It had been a long day and we need pleasant and friendly service. They delivered ?!! We had a couple beers, watched the bball game while we waited for our take out. A very awesome experience. Food was soooooooooooo good. Sorry for no pix of food ... was super tired and forgot to take them once we were home.Vegetarian options: YupParking: YupKid-friendliness: YupWheelchair accessibility: Yup“
“I used to live in the valley and would come here all the time. Now I live on the westside and tried 5 different Thai places near me that are walking distance and nothing comes close. I drove 30 minutes out of my way to come to Kinnara! They make the most amazing soft shell crab and add a side salad with it, it’s a soft shell crab salad! Then I get their yellow curry which is a staple and delicious but the drunken noodles is my favorite by far! Just the right amount of spice and flavor, this is by far one of the best Thai places in Southern California!“
“Oh YES, I will be back. :)Finally! A place that does NOT put a ton of sugar in their Pad Thai. Wooooooo!Food:1. Pad Thai with Chicken. I felt like I got my money's worth. By volume and weight, there's a lot of food they pack into one little to go container. Plenty of chicken, and lots of chewy noodles. What I love about their Pad Thai is that they do not put a lot of sugar in it. You can really taste the difference between this place and other places.2. BBQ Chicken. This dish steals the show! It's really a half of a chicken, seasoned very well, and then barbecued almost to a smokey flavor. It's delicious! The sauce they give you on the side is kind of like a sweet scallion kind of a thing. I think it's fish sauce maybe mixed with something else. Or some kind of rice wine vinegar mixed with sugar. It's delicious either way, and goes well with the chicken to dip into.3. Thai iced tea. On point! Very smooth flavor. You can actually taste that it is real tea, probably brewed fresh everyday is my guess. I mean you can really tell this is good tea they use. Also, it's not too sweet. The cream is so smooth. Very refreshing.I had heard about this place from someone in the movie biz, so I decided to give it a try. I'm absolutely pleased. You definitely do get your money's worth, and I feel like there is value here. The qualityof ingredients is great.Service: So I got mine to go, and the guy operating the place was nice enough to bring it out to my car after I had paid inside. What a classy place. :)Atmosphere: you know what this place reminds me of? Kind of like that atomic late 50s meets early 1960s Swanky Martini bar... without the bar. The lamps on the sides of the walls are a nice orange yellow color, and the walls are painted gray.I think this is a great place to come to during the week for lunch, or dinner. I also think that this is a good date spot since it's kind of out of the way, easy to find parking, and the food is great!Quite honestly, and short, this has become my new favorite Thai place. I will be back.“
