“Let me just start by saying or family loves BBQ. We've traveled all over the south, and check out at least one spot in every city. I never expected to find a place this good, this authentic, in California. The food experience was so phenomenal. Wagyu brisket was my favorite. I'm a traditionalist, I don't like a lot of sauce. This place let's the meat speak for itself. Wonderfully seasoned. My wife was all about the ribs, and they were amazingly moist. She had me try their mustard based sauce and wow, was it good. If your in the area, or not... just make it a destination. You won't be disappointed.“

“Great Mongolian food in Simi Valley! Excellent value for the money with the $19.99 all-you-can-eat special, available all day, including weekends. We came on Saturday night for dinner. The AYCE option includes egg drop soup, but pita bread is not included.

The waitress was very friendly, and the service was great! The food selection is fairly simple, but everything was very tasty, and we really enjoyed our time here.

They also have a good selection of beverages and a separate bar area. The bathrooms were clean, although the floor was a little sticky. Overall, the restaurant was clean and comfortable.

We definitely recommend this place if you’re in the mood for good Mongolian BBQ, especially since there aren’t many restaurants offering this type of AYCE option. They also have a separate Chinese food menu, although those items are not part of the AYCE option.“

Let me tell you, I’m real picky when it comes to mac & cheese, and this was killer! The baked beans were awesome too. “The food was amazing. Got the crispy shawarma with chicken and I was taken for a ride to flavor city. Idk what wizardry they did in the kitchen but I was hooked at the first bite.

The crispy shawarma with beef was pretty good too. It is cooked with a little lamb fat, so it was slightly gamey. Not really what I like, but if you like lamb then you'll probably really like the beef.

I also got a chicken thigh plate. It's your standard chicken plate that you'd get at Mediterranean places. Char on the chicken tasted great as well as the chicken itself. I'm not usually the biggest fan of hummus but the hummus here tasted better than other places.

Next time I'd probably just get one crispy shawarma chicken. It's pretty filling. Can't wait to come again!“

“Delicious, fresh meats, including pork belly, angus beef brisket, marinated bbq angus beef, black angus choice rib eye, beef teriyaki, and more. Everything paired perfectly with rice & fresh vegetable salad. The appetizers, egg soup, spicy soup, kimchi, broccoli, & brussel sprouts were also excellent.

Outstanding service by Michelle, Melvin, & Destiny. They deserve special recognition for being attentive, welcoming, friendly, and kind.

“Unfortunately, not quite what it used to be. My wife and I stopped in for lunch. I hadn't been the Bear Pit in probably 6 to 7 years....new booths, new menus. Same atmosphere. I ordered the BBQqed beef sandwich. Not the same smoked flavor, and the meat was tough. No longer give you the dill spears or the pickled carrots,and peppers. Their sauce is very runny. Service was excellent ...not sure I'll be back anytime soon. My first visit was in the early 1960's. I guess all good things must come to an end 😒“

“A small restaurant with bar on the golf course, outside seating, smaller live bands and enough room for dance. The views are so nice and green. Mid to later type ages, a few younger. A wonderful time we had meeting others. Food good and drinks not expensive. Lovely host/server. Closed at 9p.“

“It’s always fun having dinner here with my family. Everything is great except for the Cheesling fries. The mix of Parmesan cheese with a sweet sauce doesn’t go well together. I was expecting cheese fries instead. That would be a much better menu item“

“Saturday at noon. All the stars aligned. Found parking right in front. Minimal wait for a table of 6. By the tine the rest of our party arrived they were ready to seat us. Afterwards we walked around 99 ranch next door to burn off some of the food.

Our group ordered as family style and here is our hit list:
1. Sam Woo platter (roast duck, roast pork, chinese bbq pork, soy sauce chicken) - 1
2. Hot sour soup
3. French style beef - C5
4. Orange chicken
5. Eggplant with minced pork (spicy)

“honestly i loved this place. we got the kalbi and it was super tender with that perfect char on the outside. the side dishes kept coming and i couldnt stop eating the kimchi, it was so good. my wife got the galbi jjim and she didnt say a word until her plate was clean. im already thinking about when we can come back next.“

“This dude is super chill and the meats are superior. The brisket burger is MASSIVE and quite tasty. If you're not that hungry the boiled ramen eggs are the ticket. He boils them just right with the slightly runny yolks and the ramen seasoning makes them incredibly delicious. The macaroni salads are also a good side to consider. Pete posts up at the Naughty Pine Pub in Westlake Village on Sundays and it is worth the trip there. Either get some ramen eggs to go or order a burger and grab a beer inside the pub. Pete is very friendly and knows his craft quite well!“

“Very good Filipino food feels like home! Grill City is very affordable compared to other Asian and Filipino restaurants that I tried. The supermarket attached has a great selection of Asian products and I found some of my favorites from back home.

The staff at Grill City in North Hills particularly is very friendly and respectful; they’re always smiling and happy to assist when I need it, and they provided great service. I definitely recommend this place!“

“Ugh, the best KBBQ in the valley. I’ve been to all the local eateries and nothing compares like Shik Do Rak.
I usually get the brisket, ribeye, and bulgogi combination and it’s more than enough.
Their staff is very attentive and is friendly!

It’s not all you can eat but, honestly the quality of food, side dishes and hospitality out eats all you can eat any day of the week.

The food is amazing, I went to celebrate my son's graduation here they took care of every one in our party( 11 in total) is very different from other Korean BBQ Restaurants I've visit, I feel I enjoyed the food more, is a very small place but the experience make it worth the lack of ambiance.

I don't know how much is for each individual plate because I had 11 people in my party and we just ordered until everyone was satisfied but it was worth every penny.
The serves make sure you get everything you need, I ordered the marinated beef it was very juice, they lack on variety of choices but it still gives you the whole Korean bbq feel, they provide you with onions, jalapenos and garlic per request, also their salad is AMAZING. It is it not luxurious as other BBQ places.
I still find the meat on this places a much better quality than other Korean BBQ places., I will definitely be coming back.“

“Amazing food! Family owned for more than two decades. Never a drop off in quality. They’ve been a consistent fixture in SF Valley, which speaks volumes since it’s hardly recognizable even in the past 5 years since the pandemic! My favorite dish is the seafood combo with short ribs!“
