Every time I came here the lady will greet me with a smile and said I reminded her of her sister that passed away. I miss this place so much when I’m in my home town I definitely come here.“

“Amazing experience over 4th of July weekend. Perfect location kiddos were able to run in the open space/water fountain area right in front of patio seating. Everything we got from the chicken dish, sesame noodles, chicken soup, and assorted dumplings was delicious. Our kids kept asking us to order more chicken dumplings lol. Exceptional friendly service. “Panda Bowl is the best chinese food for your dollar. Food is very affordable and delicious. My family has been coming here for years. Kung Pao chicken is my favorite. The owner lady is very nice too. I have used their catering service as well to host parties. The trays were scraped clean after an hour or so. Everyone complimented the food and wanted to know where I got it. This place is great!“

Most of the Chinese food in Long Beach is actually pretty disgusting to be honest. It’s just quick grabbing go places. This restaurant, Dan, Dan, modern and a couple near Bixby Knowles are pretty decent, but Long Beach is not known for their Chinese food if you want Cambodian or you want Vietnamese there’s tons of options and great Thai, but definitely not Chinese

This is actually a great spot but the one issue I have is customer service. It just seems like everyone’s kind of bummed or not really excited to be there except for the manager. I was impressed one time. She actually brought my food out to the Alley because there’s no parking.

“Good food good helpings recommend the orange chicken nice and tasty you get plenty of white rice also careful when you order by size when you order large you get a bit much but not complaining at all. Give this place a try it's not roomy so best to take it to go or have it delivered for a more comfortable eat.“

This is a better decision than fast food. You feel a little heavy after eating but not compared to fast food.

The portions they give you are huge. The lady is not shy to give you a lot.

We also get the chicken soup. Omg!!! Ive never had a soup like this. We always get it when ita cold outside or we are ill.

Ordered fried rice with chicken with a taro milk tea drink on the side.Bruh ??? my mind was in total shock at how ? it was!!The fried rice was JUST warm enough to enjoy while not too hot as to burn my tongue off. And the flavor was absolutely savory, usually fried rice is lacking in flavor but this one i could probably eat as a meal of itself.The rice was topped with chicken cutlet. The breading on it was cooked so fantastically crispy that it created a nice contrast with the delicately flavorful rice.The chicken was notably lacking in sodium, which is phenomenal because usually fried chicken cutlets of this magnitude tend to over salt causing a flavor overload.This chicken was clearly marinaded in a whole garden of herbs then breaded and fried to perfection creating an incredibly savory and crispy chicken cutlet. A perfect topping for the fried rice.And, as a digestif, the taro milk tea was nothing short of satisfaction. A cold, milky, taro tea. A perfect blend of dessert and beverage in a cup big enough for the gods and their ambrosia.Anyway, to top it off, I discovered that they were operating in the same location as Taishi Hainan Chicken, an incredible chicken joint that specializes in Hainan style chicken! It is hot & flavorful & I can't think of a time when their food was greasy or tasted old or was anything but hot. They always give you decent size portions of everything you request in your combo--not like when you order a 3 item combo at Panda Express & the amount of the noodles and/or rice & the first 2 items put into the main container are somewhat skimpy & the 3rd item that they put in a tiny, tiny little food container is even skimpier. Here, they give you portions that satisfy your craving for Chinese food. I definitely feel like I get my moneies worth. If you like Chinese food, you should give Good China Express a try. I don't think you'll be disappointed!“

“I had this spot bookmarked from Instagram and saw the massive portions it comes in and decided to give it a try since I was in the area. The second you talked in, the staffs were friendly. Lots of arts for seating but looks very outdated. I ordered two combos with 2 sides and 2 dishes each, first one was double veggies with orange chicken and bbq pork/cha siu, second combo had half chow mein and half chow fan with teriyaki chicken and chicken n mushroom. Everything came out to less than $25, worth it and broke them up into 6 lunches for work. Had. Tasted the orange chicken, not bad and less breading which I appreciated. Teriyaki chicken was a bit dry, good flavors, and good flavors on the chicken mushroom. Fried rice and chow mein were decent. Overall would come back for cheap eats and I do add more protein to my meals on top of what I got. Would get the 3 mains next time.
