“For the moderate price and ambiance, it all worked. Two adults and two preteens who eat out often. The chicken lettuce wrap was spot on. Crispy, clean, non-soggy lettuce; perfectly seasoned, savory chicken. We can eat this anytime. The crab wontons were good; they just needed a little more seasoning. Cucumber salad was spot on for summer: fresh, lively & crunchy. The children's sweet and sour chicken and kid's Lo Mein resulted in two clean plates. The only thing we did not like and sent back was the lychee lemonade: water with tons of sugar, really like twice the sugar of a soda can, no taste of lychee, and vague chemical lemony. Service was good, attentive and cordial. We will come back.“

“Amazing experience over 4th of July weekend. Perfect location kiddos were able to run in the open space/water fountain area right in front of patio seating. Everything we got from the chicken dish, sesame noodles, chicken soup, and assorted dumplings was delicious. Our kids kept asking us to order more chicken dumplings lol. Exceptional friendly service. Highly recommend.“

“Outstanding seafood and dim sum experience! EA Seafood Restaurant delivers fresh live lobster, crab, and prawns with authentic Hong Kong flavors. The dim sum was excellent—har gow and shumai were delicate and flavorful, and the Peking duck was crispy and delicious. Service was attentive and friendly, and the dishes came out hot and well-presented. Clean, comfortable dining room with a good variety of options. Portions were generous and the quality stood out. A true standout for Chinese seafood in Long Beach. Highly recommend—will definitely return!“

“Ok so we used to lived down the street from here. Approximately 2014 to 2015. One of those places that I get this nostalgia feeling...before we had our kids and before we have what we have now. The days of struggle. We used to get their deal buy 3 get 1 and we would eat it for a week. We just moved to California. We opened our clothing store and everything was tight budget. But this place in more ways saved us. They have the best bbq chicken in town and their portions is massive still...12 years later. My husband and I graduated from college...we adopted 2 kids...we came back to this place with pride and still got their specials. The owner is still the same.“

“Food is fresh, flavors are Szechuan style but also other options, and their chili oil is amazing.
Most of the Chinese food in Long Beach is actually pretty disgusting to be honest. It’s just quick grabbing go places. This restaurant, Dan, Dan, modern and a couple near Bixby Knowles are pretty decent, but Long Beach is not known for their Chinese food if you want Cambodian or you want Vietnamese there’s tons of options and great Thai, but definitely not Chinese
This is actually a great spot but the one issue I have is customer service. It just seems like everyone’s kind of bummed or not really excited to be there except for the manager. I was impressed one time. She actually brought my food out to the Alley because there’s no parking.
I have to say that was really really cool because I’m a customer and I don’t even think she knew that it was just really nice that she did it though because I had dogs in my car.“

“Panda Bowl is the best chinese food for your dollar. Food is very affordable and delicious. My family has been coming here for years. Kung Pao chicken is my favorite. The owner lady is very nice too. I have used their catering service as well to host parties. The trays were scraped clean after an hour or so. Everyone complimented the food and wanted to know where I got it. This place is great!“

“The food was delicious and the ladies behind the counter were friendly. I ordered a 2 item combo and after tax it was still less than $10. Its a cash only place. The food was fresh, flavorful, and they fill your container to the top. I will definitely be back.“

“I found this place a few years ago while working in Long Beach, and it quickly became my go-to. The staff is always kind, and the food is honestly the best! I always get the same thing—chow mein and orange chicken—and it never lets me down. I’ve tried a few other spots, but they always fall short compared to this place.“

“This place is really good food is nice and tasty, best part good portions😃 try it out i do recommend it it's a nice little hole in the wall one of them surprisingly good spots no one would notice. Love it!..plan on take out due to limited seating you can eat in but it is a small place and has one to two small tables.“

“Good food good helpings recommend the orange chicken nice and tasty you get plenty of white rice also careful when you order by size when you order large you get a bit much but not complaining at all. Give this place a try it's not roomy so best to take it to go or have it delivered for a more comfortable eat.“

“Just want some of that good old fashioned Chinese take out? Look no further, China Star Express has got you covered. Even better if you're on a budget, they give you large portions and great lunch/dinner specials keeping you fuller than a club going up on a Tuesday.“
“Convenient, in corner area with 7-11 there also. Get your dinner and a big gulp soda or coffee! They fill the plates enough to feed at least 2 people! Taste is great! Or I'm spoiled♡ maybe both. Attitude is always friendly with me. Discovered by circumstances and will keep going back!“

“Out of all the Lousiana's I've been to from Los Angeles, Carson, Compton, and now this one in Long Beach area, they have the best prices, for the items I always order (chkn wings/catfish fillets) and is fairly large in size. This is my 4th time here. Food, service, atmosphere is great, cleanliness is also a plus. This one uses the actual Hawaiian sweet bread rolls. They use fish fry for their fish as opposed to the same chicken batter like many of the other Lousiana's. THIS ONE also has a fish market where you buy and they fry as well.“

“This is the only chinese food that I enjoy because of their delicious food and their generous portions. I've compared their food to Panda Express, and the difference was insane. Panda Express wasn't even half good, and I didn't even feel full. I recommend this place for anyone who wants a nice full meal.“

“The same two women are there every time I go & they're great-friendly & quick. The food is always consistently good too! It is hot & flavorful & I can't think of a time when their food was greasy or tasted old or was anything but hot. They always give you decent size portions of everything you request in your combo--not like when you order a 3 item combo at Panda Express & the amount of the noodles and/or rice & the first 2 items put into the main container are somewhat skimpy & the 3rd item that they put in a tiny, tiny little food container is even skimpier. Here, they give you portions that satisfy your craving for Chinese food. I definitely feel like I get my moneies worth. If you like Chinese food, you should give Good China Express a try. I don't think you'll be disappointed!“

“Food is good. But every once in a while it sucks. It's not a friendly atmosphere. Employees look like they hate their job. For being such a classic establishment, you would think it would be better managed. I guess it's just Long Beach. Nothing too fancy.“

“The older Asian man who took our order was not friendly at all. (The first thought that entered my mind was that he was a racist) Upon entering the restaurant my friend and I greeted him twice he never did open his mouth and speak. It was our first time there so I had questions about what I wanted to order. He was very pushy and impolite rushing us even though we were the only customers in the restaurant. We should have turned around and walked out but we were tired so we ignored his rudeness. The rice was good but I wondered how it could be cooked to order when we got it right away.“

“This place was always my go to when I was younger the food is bomb and the price is reasonable the cook and the cashier lady are really sweet Philippino couple. Every time I came here the lady will greet me with a smile and said I reminded her of her sister that passed away. I miss this place so much when I’m in my home town I definitely come here.“
