This Chinese food restaurant is a popular spot for CSULB students and construction workers. It's close to CSULB, and it's never super crowded in here! I got the 1 Item Combo with Chow Mein, Fried Rice, and Orange Chicken. The portions are good for being under $10, and there was a sign that says for a limited time, combos get a free medium drink from 3-6pm. The Chow Mein is good, the Fried Rice is pretty good too, and the Orange Chicken isn't too crunchy or too soft, and it's flavorful!...read full review
Cheap, good eats close to Cal State Long Beach. This place has your typical take out Chinese food. The Mongolian chicken and Mushroom chicken are good. The pho is also surprisingly good. I would recommend this restaurant.

I needed a quick dinner before the nearby college basketball game. China Star Express came up well recommended. When I arrived in the small parking lot, Pizzamania was busy and CSE was empty. I almost opted not for Chinese fast food because of the lack of customers. Right when 6:00pm hit, the place had a line to the door.
