“Got a 2 item combo. Spicy tangerine chicken, orange chicken, white rice and chowmein. The spicy tangerine chicken was my favorite. Not really spicy, but very nice flavor to it. The orange chicken was good, chowmein was good and white rice was white rice. If I'm in the area, I'll try this place again

Parking: It's on a corner and shares parking lot with 3 other stores. I went after 8, so parking was easy to find. But during business hours I'm sure it won't be easy.“

“I usually don't like to leave reviews on Google unless it's really bad or really good. Well, I'm glad I found this place! The food there is fresh and authentic. The price is very reasonable with a good portion size, especially the combos which are great value. I also tried some of their soups. They are absolutely yummy and soothing. Their service is really good too. I'm very specific about food. I asked a lot of questions on my first visit, but they were very patient and helpful. This place is now my go-to Chinese food spot. Would highly recommend it!“

“Ordered food as they were closing they were very friendly and even helped us pick combos that would be more variety and just enough for two rather than ordering one dish a la cart . They were very very kind and the food was hot and delicious. I loved the vegetables and thought everything was very good. The customer service is so great they treat you like family.

Vegetarian options: The vegetables are crisp and fresh and served in light sauce very yummy so are egg rolls no meat in the egg rolls delicious“

“The best bang for your buck for sure! I just got a three item plate (plus 50/50 rice/chow mein), an order of cream cheese wontons (cooked fresh!) And a huge soda for $18. On to the food: every single dish I've had here has been fresh, delicious and top notch. Excellent food. I really want to try the bbq pork, it looks incredible! They home make their own hotsauce. The hotter version is legit hott, and the standard version adds a unique spiciness to the already flavorful and delicious food. Every time I go here, the people are so nice and actually care about you. Do not hesitate, and check this place out. The atmosphere is quiet and it's pretty plain-jane as far as cosmetics, but they more than make up for it in the kitchen and at the counter. One of my top 5 favorite spots in the area. They give you that sloppy, messy, greasy finger licking food you know you love with generous portions like your grandma gives you because she thinks you’re starving. Unlike stingy Panda Express.? the jalapeños chicken is great and spicy, the chow main is fresh and moist not dry but the orange chicken can be a hit or miss due to the batter it can be too sweet or too hard. 8.7/10 the service is fast but some sides can be too salty and make you bloat but overall it’s better than Panda Express in serving size, quantity and 84% quality but they are limited to certain items like walnut shrimp, steak, isn’t available.“

“I love it here. My wife and I are always talking to the owner. She's very friendly. The food is made fresh in portions for the day. Not only is It cheap but you get more than your money's worth here. I don't go to any other Chinese fast food place other than here. “Best steam table Chinese I've ever had. The only lady behind the counter was efficient with the line that was in there.

Bbq pork was tender and delicious, grab some hot mustard. The orange chicken is something we don't usually order but was great here, still crunchy. Egg foo young was made fresh to order and surprisingly wonderful, airy and the best use of water chestnuts I've seen. The lady even chopped it up for us with a huge cleaver so it was easier to eat. The fried rice has chunks of bbq pork and egg and the chow mein had chicken and egg. They have both Sriracha and chili oil. It was enough food for two plus leftovers

It's been open for forty years and is inside a cute, kitchy building. Parking lot is tiny and one way, enter from KFC around the corner“

“This is by far the best of the combo chinese food restaurants' orange chicken. And i really like the flavor of their chow mein, it's more garlicky than other places which are more bland. But i usually go out of my way to go here if i get the chance.“

“This was our first visit here and we really enjoyed the food. To start we had the crispy crab/cream cheese wontons. They were creamy and full of chunks of crab meat. For dinner we shared the Sweet & Sour pork, Mongolian Beef and the Veggie Low Mein. It was all super tasty! The low mein had tons of freshly sautéed carrots, brocolli, zuchini, cabbage and snow peas in a great sauce. The Mongolian beef was super thin and tender sautéed with green onion in a rich sauce. The sweet and sour pork was very traditional but you could see and taste the quality... no skimpy cuts of pork or over breading! I was wonderful! The manager (or owner, not sure) was offering a free garlic noodle dish to any table with a check over $50... we had never tried garlic noodles before but they were so simple but so rich with a buttery garlic sauce that they paired perfectly with the rich sauces of the other dishes. Service and atmosphere was wonderful. We will be back to try more! *Bonus they had a large TV (no sound but with subtitles) playing the World Series!

Vegetarian options: The table next to us was a large all vegetarian group. They had tons of options on thier table which they all seemed to enjoy.

“Went in for pick up on a Friday night. Was busy, was able to order at the counter and wait 15 mins for order to be ready. I ordered the garlic broccoli, shrimp steamed wontons and cold noodles. The portion sizes were great and all 3 were under $40.
The broccoli had so much garlic it was almost overwhelming. If you are so so on healing stay away from this as it will kick that flu season in the guts! The cold noodles were okay, just wanted more sauce options and other veges in them. Wontons were tasty and good portion size. It was a good go to. With so much choice in Gardena this is up there.“

I used to go to Chinese Deli, in Carson since the’80’s, but I really feel that this place that I began eating at, this year, is more to my liking. I was born in Long Beach, raised in Wilmington, lived in Carson, love Manhattan Beach area, but I dwell in Long Beach now and am experiencing new places when I can afford it and it’s fabulous food like this place. The female that greets you is very precise, thorough, and attentive. Gotta love it!!!

“Incredibly fresh, not greasy, lovely wood detailing in the dining room. Had the chefs filet which was tender and amazingly black pepper with onion. Also the black bean shrimp was fantastic with bell pepper and chili.

“Me and the the fam do laundry across the street so naturally the wife want her Starbucks. Always passed by this place and it just caught my eye. Don’t know why. I took a menu from the spot and kept it in the glove compartment for some time. One day I was coming down from some acid and was hungry like a mofo. Oh before I say anything more I must mention that when I saw the menu I saw they had shrimp fried rice and that is all it took to seal the deal. However, I am VERY SKETCH on my shrimp fried rice. I only get it from one spot and it’s been like that for around 13 years. Anywho. Coming down from that and I said “screw it! Let’s try it” got the shrimp fried rice and the lunch special of orange chicken. The sfr was dank! Wont compare it to the other but honestly I was impressed. My wife said the orange chicken was ok and that the chicken was hard. I tried it I loved the sauce and the fried rice…well I had just tried it so no difference. I told her that I kinda saw that coming from the chicken bc of the big menu that they have so that is the only negative but I will definitely mess with this place again! Oh the service was quick and straight to the point. The way it should be.“
