About Northern Cafe

Northern Cafe, located on 2nd Street, serves a variety of Chinese dishes, including Beef Rolls, Pork Soup Dumplings, Dan Dan Noodles, and Pork Wontons in Chili Oil. The menu is filled with flavorful options and generous portion sizes that cater to different tastes. Many customers have praised the delicious Tomato and Egg Beef Noodle Soup and the Pig Ears as great appetizers. The service is friendly and generally efficient, although it can become overwhelmed during peak hours due to the number of customers. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the amount of food served. Northern Cafe offers a unique experience with visible noodle preparation through a glass window. It is a popular spot among locals and visitors, known for its quick service and bursting flavors. However, parking can be tricky, especially on weekends, as the restaurant is located in a plaza with other dining options. Overall, Northern Cafe is an excellent choice for anyone craving authentic Chinese cuisine.

It should be a 3.5 star for me.
Ordered 2 things:
- Golden beef soup with knife cut noodle: 4⭐️ knife cut noodle was perfect. It was cut manually so each strain of noodle is different in size and texture. This makes the whole experience so fun, you don’t know what you’re gonna get. The broth and veggie is just a solid 4⭐️. It was good, not special.

- cold meat pig ear appetizer: 3⭐️ it’s fresh. Flavor is ok, not the exploding of seasoning I was expecting.

Fried rice was delicious. The rest of the items were pretty average. Service was fast even though it was very crowded in there.

The soup dumplings were good but I think Din Tai is better.

only one server and did not come by to check on table, but it was ok. Food was great, though.
