“So today was our second visit to this small business. Seeing past reviews it can be a hit or miss for some people, especially for long time customers.
So far it’s been a hit for me honestly, the portion given in the Combo B is pretty massive for an individual and it will make you full for sure. And the price is well worth it ($9.49) in my opinion especially with this current economy. Unfortunately they don’t have a lot of entrées to decide from, but the orange chicken and beef broccoli was really good!
Also the female employee who handles the register and serving is fantastic, greets you with a smile as you walk in 👌“

“Redefining possibilities with Chinese American food to be more healthful while being delicious. The price point is amazing for being in Santa Monica with generous portions. When the menu says spicy, it’s spicy representative of Chef Bryant’s work at Cassia.“

“Had a great meal! Forwent ordering potstickers in order to try the enticingly named Gang of 4 ×4 - a delicious decision! The Mao's Hometown was just-right spicy, and I'm sure they put more than $2 extra shrimp on my order. Service friendly and prompt, loved the art. I felt as though I had wandered back into college in the early '70s.“

“YUUUUM. This was our first time here (didn't know it was a chain) & it was delicious! We were seated right away and our server was super nice. She brought us our drinks and a side a shredded ginger. She recommended we eat it with our meal, by itself, or use it in our water! I appreciated her recs and choose to nibble on some and put the rest in my water.
We got the orange chicken and the stir fried green beans. We also tried the beef pancake. All items were generously portions and delicious. We would for sure return again!“

“Came in for lunch and we were the 1st customers. We sat down and viewed the menu. Waitress did not bring us tea and after 5 minutes I had to call her over to take our order. It was definitely different than my experience with my mom. The food was good, but not as good as my previous visit.“

“Din Tai Fung is a very nice restaurant with a clean and comfortable feeling. I really liked the outdoor seating area. It had a chill and relaxing vibe, and they also have heaters above the table area, which helps keep your head warm when sitting outside. Nice little detail.
The food was good, and I especially liked the cucumber appetizer. It was fresh, flavorful, and a great starter. The portions are a little smaller and the price is higher, but that is kind of expected for Din Tai Fung, especially inside a mall.
One small tip: the restroom is located at the back of the restaurant. If you see a red light above the door, that means it is being used.
Overall, great food, nice outdoor setup, and a very comfortable dining experience.“

“Just tried Guilin rice noodles for the first time and I’m absolutely obsessed! The broth is incredibly fragrant and soul-warming, with a subtle spicy and savory depth that keeps you wanting more. The rice noodles themselves are silky-smooth and have the perfect chewy texture. Topped with crispy pork, peanuts, fresh herbs, and a hint of pickled vegetables—each bite is a beautiful balance of flavors and textures.
It’s not just a meal, it’s an experience. Whether you’re a foodie or just looking for something comforting and delicious, Guilin rice noodles will not disappoint. Highly recommend giving it a try!“

“This place is a hidden gem and a longtime staple of Inglewood. As the neighborhood continues to change and become more gentrified, it still stands as classic that the local community genuinely loves. I’m really glad it’s still here and honestly hope it never leaves—people would be devastated if it did.
The food is amazing for locals who want a balance: lots of vegetables with just the right hint of fried and sweet flavors. Everything is hot, ready, and right in front of you. When ordering, it’s a little difficult to tell them what you want because eye sight is blocked by supplies, you have to point at what you want through the glass, and talk loud, the staff is older, but they’ve been doing this for a very long time. They are always generous so they should understand what you want. One plate is easily enough to feed two people. I can never finish a full plate myself and usually end up getting small boxes for everything. Prices are great, and contactless payment is available.
The vibe is small, quiet, and low-key. Seating is limited, with a couple of small tables and one table for four, which adds to the charm. It really does feel like a neighborhood spot rather than a tourist stop—Google Maps usually pushes Randy’s Donuts first, and honestly, we kind of want to keep it that way. People avoid it because they see “Donuts” and that’s how we like it.
I’ve been coming here for years. I remember when they had the donut side, which is gone now. I even brought my first girlfriend here, and I still come back every few months.
Whenever someone tells me they are coming to Inglewood, I always recommend three places: Randy’s Chinese Food, Bravo’s breakfast, and Tumby’s pizza. These places have been around forever, and they’re a big part of what makes Inglewood feel like home.“

“Chowking (131 W Carson St, Carson, CA 90745) never disappoints! The Beef Wonton Noodles are flavorful and comforting, perfect for satisfying any craving. The Sago’t Gulaman and Naicha Milk Tea are refreshing and perfectly balanced in sweetness. Their Halo-Halo is a must-try — creamy, colorful, and filled with all the classic Filipino ingredients. And the Taho is just like home — warm, soft, and sweetly nostalgic.
Overall, great food, friendly service, and a clean, inviting atmosphere. Definitely a 5-star experience for anyone craving authentic Filipino-Chinese comfort food!“

“I ordered their new Spicy Orange Chicken Fries and they were good. Good flavor and good portions. Not too spicy for me so I asked for extra chili oil. I also ordered their house special chow mein XTRA spicy and this definitely was spicy. Both dishes were good in flavor for the price. The only bad is the wait time for the dishes. Since they're popular now, expect to wait 30-60 minutes so order ahead!“

“If you're looking for good, affordable Chinese food, New China Mongolian Barbecue is definitely worth checking out.
What makes this place stand out is the Mongolian barbecue option, where you get to build your own plate exactly the way you want it. You can choose from a variety of meats, vegetables, noodles, and sauces, and there really aren't any restrictions on what you can add. Instead of charging by the item, they simply weigh your plate when you're done. Last I checked, it was around $5 per pound, making it an excellent value for the amount of food you can get.
My personal favorite is creating a plate with lamb, a generous mix of vegetables, and just a small amount of noodles. Once you've built your masterpiece, the cook stir-fries everything on a large round grill right in front of you. Watching the food being prepared is part of the experience, and the end result is always flavorful and satisfying.
In addition to the Mongolian barbecue, they also offer a buffet-style Chinese food section where you can build your own combination plate, similar to what you'd find at many Chinese restaurants. I've tried several of their dishes over the years, and I've enjoyed every one of them. The food is consistently tasty, and the portions are generous.
The atmosphere isn't the restaurant's strongest point. I remember it being a little warm inside during my visit, and the dining area is fairly basic. Because of that, I think this place shines more as a takeout spot than a dine-in destination.
Overall, New China Mongolian Barbecue delivers where it matters most: good food, large portions, and great value. If you're looking for a budget-friendly meal and like the idea of creating your own stir-fry, this place is definitely worth a try.
4 out of 5 stars.“

“I had a really good meal at Juicy Dumpling Factory! The soup dumplings were solid and packed with a lot of juicy broth. I also tried the pan-fried dumplings, and those were probably my favorite—they’re crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and just fun to eat.
The cucumber salad was bomb and super refreshing. I also ordered the beef noodle soup, and I was pleasantly surprised. The noodles were bouncy, tasted fresh, and the broth had a lot of flavor. It looks spicy, but it’s actually much milder than I expected, which made it easy to enjoy.
Overall, a great spot if you’re craving dumplings and comforting noodle dishes. I’d definitely come back to try more from the menu!“

The lady worker who took our order was so incredibly kind and called us friends the second we entered, this place is truly a must try! Me and my husband ordered a plate and two soups, the soups come in a large size and have a super hot delicious broth with the best fresh veggies and meats, the plate was hot, fresh, and so flavorful! “I order from No. 1 Chef often via Postmates. Something went wrong this time (not their fault, their computers were down), so my hubby and I took a quick trip to pick up our order. The lady was SOOOO nice and helpful over the phone. With that said, the food here is top notch! When I need comfort food, I get the egg flower soup and dumplings. The soup is ALWAYS hot and fresh and just feels like a hug. I've also ordered the egg fu yun, and trust this place is NOT stingy on the portions. Everything I've had has never disappointed. Yes, it may look like a hole in the wall, but if you want the kind of Chinese food that satisfies, give this place a try.“

“This place is better than what I was thinking I am glad I tried it they do not have many american foods but the pizza and fries were decent and I really liked the seafood the dessert bar wasnt as great as I hoped but honestly the best sweets were on another bar try the sesame ball and the chinese donuts those were so good I took some home I was sad they had put a banana flavor in the icecream machine but if it was vanilla I would have been very satisfied with a root beer float they took me by surprise but I think it was honestly and accident. I tried 4 types of chinese food chicken and they were all very good general Taos was the fave the coconut shrimp was the wifey's favorite we will be back for more.“

“Food: Ordered Malatang and Street Squid to share, and both were great. The Malatang, which feeds two people, had a nice heat to it (take caution, those who are heat intolerant) and a nice assortment of ingredients. The Street Squid was addictive and tender. Overall, great first impression. Who knew this little gem was sitting in our backyard!
Service: No complaints! We were waited on by two guys, who checked in on us a few times.
Ambiance: Casual, modern, retro.
Parking: Limited parking. Street parking available.“

“My family and I had such a wonderful experience here! The food was delicious, but what truly made our visit special was our server, Zeeshan. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel welcomed and valued. He was incredibly kind, attentive, patient, and professional throughout the entire meal.
We accidentally had a mix-up with part of our order, and Zeeshan handled it with such a positive attitude and genuine care. He quickly helped resolve everything and made sure we were completely satisfied. It’s rare to come across customer service this exceptional.
Thank you, Zeeshan, for making our night so enjoyable. Your kindness and dedication did not go unnoticed. The food was fantastic, but Zeeshan outstanding service is what will bring us back. Thank you for making our night so special!“
