“I tried this today for the first time and it was awesome. Takes me back to when I was younger- my mom would always get Chinese food on her way home from work. The prices are extremely fair- and I loved the atmosphere. Very old school type of place. Loved it. Thank you so much.
I got teriyaki chicken, chow mein, and 2 egg rolls, all great flavors and good price.“

“Redefining possibilities with Chinese American food to be more healthful while being delicious. The price point is amazing for being in Santa Monica with generous portions. When the menu says spicy, it’s spicy representative of Chef Bryant’s work at Cassia.“

“I had a great experience at Tigawork. The Chinese small-bowl dishes were flavorful, fresh, and nicely portioned, making it easy to try different options in one meal. The food tasted authentic and comforting, and the service was quick and friendly. It’s a great spot for a convenient and satisfying Chinese meal.“

“The full size beef soup is very small.
The tables are sticky which is not nice.
We were party of 3 They brought the beef soup first and after 10 minutes the chicken noodle. They need to serve all together.
What's the point??
Great workers“

“I sampled their famous xiao long bao, delicious dumplings, savory fried rice and garlic string beans. Each dish was a taste experience, from the delicious dumplings in broth to the perfectly seasoned fried rice. The service is great and the atmosphere is inviting. Don't miss this place for authentic Taiwanese cuisine and unforgettable flavors. It has the taste of home.“

“Had a great meal! Forwent ordering potstickers in order to try the enticingly named Gang of 4 ×4 - a delicious decision! The Mao's Hometown was just-right spicy, and I'm sure they put more than $2 extra shrimp on my order. Service friendly and prompt, loved the art. I felt as though I had wandered back into college in the early '70s.“

“YUUUUM. This was our first time here (didn't know it was a chain) & it was delicious! We were seated right away and our server was super nice. She brought us our drinks and a side a shredded ginger. She recommended we eat it with our meal, by itself, or use it in our water! I appreciated her recs and choose to nibble on some and put the rest in my water.
We got the orange chicken and the stir fried green beans. We also tried the beef pancake. All items were generously portions and delicious. We would for sure return again!“

“Came in for lunch and we were the 1st customers. We sat down and viewed the menu. Waitress did not bring us tea and after 5 minutes I had to call her over to take our order. It was definitely different than my experience with my mom. The food was good, but not as good as my previous visit.“
“One of several new malatang places in the area, Bruin Bowl is not a large place, but they seem to have a solid selection of meats, veggies, noodles, and seafood despite their modest size. Both the bone broth and the chicken/fish maw soup bases are pretty tasty too. Excellent option if you're in the area.“

“Din Tai Fung is a very nice restaurant with a clean and comfortable feeling. I really liked the outdoor seating area. It had a chill and relaxing vibe, and they also have heaters above the table area, which helps keep your head warm when sitting outside. Nice little detail.
The food was good, and I especially liked the cucumber appetizer. It was fresh, flavorful, and a great starter. The portions are a little smaller and the price is higher, but that is kind of expected for Din Tai Fung, especially inside a mall.
One small tip: the restroom is located at the back of the restaurant. If you see a red light above the door, that means it is being used.
Overall, great food, nice outdoor setup, and a very comfortable dining experience.“

“Just tried Guilin rice noodles for the first time and I’m absolutely obsessed! The broth is incredibly fragrant and soul-warming, with a subtle spicy and savory depth that keeps you wanting more. The rice noodles themselves are silky-smooth and have the perfect chewy texture. Topped with crispy pork, peanuts, fresh herbs, and a hint of pickled vegetables—each bite is a beautiful balance of flavors and textures.
It’s not just a meal, it’s an experience. Whether you’re a foodie or just looking for something comforting and delicious, Guilin rice noodles will not disappoint. Highly recommend giving it a try!“

“I randomly found this place when I was in the area. The restaurant itself is very cute and clean. The service was superb, we got seated right away and got our water right away. We ordered the noodles, XLB and popcorn chicken and cucumber salad. The XLB was so juicy and I didn’t expect a stream to shoot out from my mouth from the first bite into the XLB. Thankfully I didn’t hit anyone with the XLB juice. I will be back to try other dishes.“

“Chowking (131 W Carson St, Carson, CA 90745) never disappoints! The Beef Wonton Noodles are flavorful and comforting, perfect for satisfying any craving. The Sago’t Gulaman and Naicha Milk Tea are refreshing and perfectly balanced in sweetness. Their Halo-Halo is a must-try — creamy, colorful, and filled with all the classic Filipino ingredients. And the Taho is just like home — warm, soft, and sweetly nostalgic.
Overall, great food, friendly service, and a clean, inviting atmosphere. Definitely a 5-star experience for anyone craving authentic Filipino-Chinese comfort food!“

“I ordered their new Spicy Orange Chicken Fries and they were good. Good flavor and good portions. Not too spicy for me so I asked for extra chili oil. I also ordered their house special chow mein XTRA spicy and this definitely was spicy. Both dishes were good in flavor for the price. The only bad is the wait time for the dishes. Since they're popular now, expect to wait 30-60 minutes so order ahead!“

“Great Cantonese restaurant! My family has been coming to this restaurant for many years and the food is delicious and cooked like in Hong Kong. We had filet mignon and asparagus, sea food chow mein, Peking duck, snow pea leaf and mixed vegetables - mushroom, bok choi, fried tofu, bean sprouts, and broccoli (vegetarian dish). This place has a lot of old clientele, and tbe food is delicious.“

“This has been my favorite spot since the 80s (i'm 42). I've always loved their little chicken wings and chow mein. Even now as an adult and having lived all over California, I've yet to find a place that compares. This is a must stop for me every time I go visit family and I absolutely crave it when I'm not there.
the appearance is old and half shut down, but the Chinese food counter is still going strong. Big portions, delicious food, and great prices. And as a bonus: they are still selling the Orange Julius that I had when I was little too. I dont know how long they've been in business but since i remember them from when i was little, I can safely say at least 40 years and still Killing it.
Love you guys!“

“This was my first time and I loved it! I pass by sometimes and always wanted to try it. I ordered through DoorDash today and it was great. I got the Mongolian BBQ with egg rolls and a slush that had boba in it. I wanted it super spicy and it turned out just right. I even loved the boba it wasn’t hard or had a weird texture. They exceeded my expectations. The portion size was super filling for the price. I’m so happy I got this today :)“

“I went to pick up some food since it’s super closed to my hotel. It’s prob the best 12$ I’ve ever spend. I got a combo which includes orange chicken, green bean, fried rice and noodle. It was too much food for 2 people but we really enjoyed it. They were really comforting for my asian food craving. The lady at the front was very sweet.“

“I had a really good meal at Juicy Dumpling Factory! The soup dumplings were solid and packed with a lot of juicy broth. I also tried the pan-fried dumplings, and those were probably my favorite—they’re crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and just fun to eat.
The cucumber salad was bomb and super refreshing. I also ordered the beef noodle soup, and I was pleasantly surprised. The noodles were bouncy, tasted fresh, and the broth had a lot of flavor. It looks spicy, but it’s actually much milder than I expected, which made it easy to enjoy.
Overall, a great spot if you’re craving dumplings and comforting noodle dishes. I’d definitely come back to try more from the menu!“

“Young King 연경 is a classic Korean‑Chinese restaurant on Olympic Blvd that’s beloved for its comfort‑food staples like crispy tangsuyuk (sweet‑and‑sour pork), rich black bean noodles (jjajangmyeon), and flavorful jjamppong, all served in generous portions with a casual, family‑friendly vibe. Many locals and regulars praise the nostalgic, cozy atmosphere and friendly service, and the menu also offers dumplings, Mongolian beef, and other hearty dishes that keep people coming back, though parking can get busy during peak dinner hours. Overall, it’s a great spot for satisfying Korean‑Chinese classics in Koreatown.“

“No tip. Yes, you heard right. You don't need to tip here. Almost everything is self serve, they do bring out the food and you can leave the trays on the table, but they don't care about tip, at least when we were there. A lot of their focus was takeout, so when we got in (not during the semester), it was empty. You get your own water from a pretty strong tap. Food was served in disposable big bowls which is nice.
Food is amazing, and the quantity given was decent. Hot or cold, noodles were great, lots of flavor, fresh. And the popcorn chicken was pretty good too, fresh and crispy.“

“This isn't my first time here. I ordered the set menu of the spicy seafood noodle, black bean noodle, and the sweet and sour fried pork. The noodles were great but I was taken aback when I saw the portion and the presentation of the fried pork. Hmm it barely covered the plate and it wasn't stacked, but the waitress brought out a bowl more while we were eating. It wasn't bad it just did not look like the photo lol.“

“Qi Steam Kitchen is so good! We tried several items from the menu, including the chicken wonton soup, chicken xiao long bao, beef noddle soup, beef and vegetable dumplings, scallion pancakes, and pan fried pork bao. All were delicious and came out so quickly! It’s a small restaurant, but there are still several places to sit. There is a small parking lot. The server was very attentive.“
“The malatang here was really satisfying! The broth was flavorful, rich, and had the perfect level of spice. I liked that there were many ingredients to choose from, and everything tasted fresh. “I order from No. 1 Chef often via Postmates. Something went wrong this time (not their fault, their computers were down), so my hubby and I took a quick trip to pick up our order. The lady was SOOOO nice and helpful over the phone. With that said, the food here is top notch! When I need comfort food, I get the egg flower soup and dumplings. The soup is ALWAYS hot and fresh and just feels like a hug. I've also ordered the egg fu yun, and trust this place is NOT stingy on the portions. Everything I've had has never disappointed. Yes, it may look like a hole in the wall, but if you want the kind of Chinese food that satisfies, give this place a try.“

“Love the food here so much! The spicy beef noodle soup is my favorite. Just bad and unwelcoming customer service. Black people treat other black people so weird. It’s terrible. The man didn’t greet us not one time. Didn’t say a word to us at all until we asked a question. I said hi when he put water on our table, no response. Praying his day gets better. The rest of the staff is friendly though!“

“Great food and value. Staff is friendly and I love the atmosphere, the food is overall pretty good, but on some days it may be lackluster, perhaps due to a different chef. It's basically the quintessential entry price buffet experience, but better for what you're paying than most.
Would definitely suggest visiting“

“The fried rice and chow mein out on the warmer Is not that great. The portions are huge, so you and half dozen small children will be fed, but thats about it. Try the combo a shrimp and veggies with rice noodle with steam rice. If you want to knock yourself out, get the Kay Kay fried rice.“

“Here's what I want in a Chinese restaurant:
Owned and operated by Chinese (yes)
A BIG menu (yes)
Fried things, steamed things, grilled things (yes)
Vegetables, lots of vegetables (yes)
A not previously frozen (not sure but there's is meh)
At least 3 soups (yes)
I don't get a headache or need to drink a ton of water (yes)
Leftovers (yes)
Is it the best Chinese place ever? No, I'm not tasting 5-spice powder, whatever New York or San Francisco have going on, this place doesn't, but what's really important is it's the best in a 3 city radius. I highly recommend it if you don't want to drive.“
