“First time here and I'm saddened and surprised to see it doesn't have a better rating. I ordered a combo to items beef and broccoli, mushroom chicken and a oder of fried dumplings. I was so cought up on eating I didn't take pictures except for the dumplings that arrived later since they were freshly made. Service was fas and serious the ladies attending the front counter dispatched 5 of us swiftly. Nothing bad to report in my visit clean fast friendly service.“

From food to friendly staff and cooks! Our server greeted us as soon as we walked in. Offered us drinks while we looked at their menu. She was very knowledgeable about the dishes giving us suggestions that she thought it would be yummier (actually, everything seemed deli we couldn't decide). Once we ordered it didn't take long to enjoy our food and it was just as yummy as it looks. Fresh ingredients for sure! We certainly would be back!“

“Went here with my mother on Friday, September 12, 2025. They have so many delicious looking selections! My mother decided to get the Hawaiian BBQ Trio. It is $15.99 plus taxes. You are provided three different types of meat- pork, beef and chicken and macaroni and rice. I chose the fried rice. It was $13.99 plus taxes. They only advertise the Shrimp Fried Rice and since I'm not a Shrimp fan I asked if I could substitute it for a different meat. The attendant said sure would you like beef or chicken. I opted for the beef. She said no problem and substituted the meat for no extra charge. The food came out very hot within 10 minutes! They also provide bar-b-que sauce for each meal, napkins and forks. We both thought that our food tasted really good. We would definitely go back.“

“This is absolutely our favorite go to restaurant whenever we visit LA. A must stop for us. Living in CA and then moving to MN, we always crave for the noodles here. We visit every 2-4 years and the soups and noodles have always been consistent. The flavors are truly astonishing! We took my parents to visit last week again, and we stopped there 3X! A few days later back at home in MN and we are craving the soups already! Would definitely recommend this place.“

“We've been to this Phoenix Inn Chinese Cuisine for years. They've been changing the menu all these years, and we still miss their old fusion family dinner menu, including the egg rolls, sweet & sour pork, and egg drop soup. They also remodeled the place so it looks modern, and they still have some traditional stuff. Anyhow, their menu is now just like other Phoenix Cuisine with a lot of authentic Hong Kong food, and the taste was great. We ordered the crispy noodles with shredded pork, fried rice with seafood and chicken gravy, and fresh mango delight. They all tasted great and were reasonably priced, and had big portions. She recommended we eat it with our meal, by itself, or use it in our water! I appreciated her recs and choose to nibble on some and put the rest in my water.

“Din Tai Fung is a very nice restaurant with a clean and comfortable feeling. I really liked the outdoor seating area. It had a chill and relaxing vibe, and they also have heaters above the table area, which helps keep your head warm when sitting outside. Nice little detail.

The food was good, and I especially liked the cucumber appetizer. It was fresh, flavorful, and a great starter. The portions are a little smaller and the price is higher, but that is kind of expected for Din Tai Fung, especially inside a mall.

One small tip: the restroom is located at the back of the restaurant. If you see a red light above the door, that means it is being used.

“I randomly found this place when I was in the area. The restaurant itself is very cute and clean. The service was superb, we got seated right away and got our water right away. We ordered the noodles, XLB and popcorn chicken and cucumber salad. The XLB was so juicy and I didn’t expect a stream to shoot out from my mouth from the first bite into the XLB. As the neighborhood continues to change and become more gentrified, it still stands as classic that the local community genuinely loves. I’m really glad it’s still here and honestly hope it never leaves—people would be devastated if it did.

The food is amazing for locals who want a balance: lots of vegetables with just the right hint of fried and sweet flavors. Everything is hot, ready, and right in front of you. When ordering, it’s a little difficult to tell them what you want because eye sight is blocked by supplies, you have to point at what you want through the glass, and talk loud, the staff is older, but they’ve been doing this for a very long time. They are always generous so they should understand what you want. One plate is easily enough to feed two people. I can never finish a full plate myself and usually end up getting small boxes for everything. Prices are great, and contactless payment is available.

The vibe is small, quiet, and low-key. Seating is limited, with a couple of small tables and one table for four, which adds to the charm. It really does feel like a neighborhood spot rather than a tourist stop—Google Maps usually pushes Randy’s Donuts first, and honestly, we kind of want to keep it that way. People avoid it because they see “Donuts” and that’s how we like it.

What makes this place stand out is the Mongolian barbecue option, where you get to build your own plate exactly the way you want it. You can choose from a variety of meats, vegetables, noodles, and sauces, and there really aren't any restrictions on what you can add. Instead of charging by the item, they simply weigh your plate when you're done. Last I checked, it was around $5 per pound, making it an excellent value for the amount of food you can get.

My personal favorite is creating a plate with lamb, a generous mix of vegetables, and just a small amount of noodles. Once you've built your masterpiece, the cook stir-fries everything on a large round grill right in front of you. Watching the food being prepared is part of the experience, and the end result is always flavorful and satisfying.

In addition to the Mongolian barbecue, they also offer a buffet-style Chinese food section where you can build your own combination plate, similar to what you'd find at many Chinese restaurants. I've tried several of their dishes over the years, and I've enjoyed every one of them. The food is consistently tasty, and the portions are generous.

The atmosphere isn't the restaurant's strongest point. I remember it being a little warm inside during my visit, and the dining area is fairly basic. Because of that, I think this place shines more as a takeout spot than a dine-in destination.

“I absolutely love this place! I always come with my family to dine in and we are always available to chit chat. The food is delicious I always order the chow mein and beef broccoli, one of my favs. Parking is a bit hard to get, but their is a parking lot you have to pay, kinda pricey.“

“I had a really good meal at Juicy Dumpling Factory! The soup dumplings were solid and packed with a lot of juicy broth. I also tried the pan-fried dumplings, and those were probably my favorite—they’re crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and just fun to eat.

The cucumber salad was bomb and super refreshing. I also ordered the beef noodle soup, and I was pleasantly surprised. The noodles were bouncy, tasted fresh, and the broth had a lot of flavor. It looks spicy, but it’s actually much milder than I expected, which made it easy to enjoy.

Overall, a great spot if you’re craving dumplings and comforting noodle dishes. I’d definitely come back to try more from the menu!“

We tried several items from the menu, including the chicken wonton soup, chicken xiao long bao, beef noddle soup, beef and vegetable dumplings, scallion pancakes, and pan fried pork bao. All were delicious and came out so quickly! It’s a small restaurant, but there are still several places to sit. There is a small parking lot. The server was very attentive.“
