“What a delicious lunch experience 🤤!
From food to friendly staff and cooks! Our server greeted us as soon as we walked in. Offered us drinks while we looked at their menu. She was very knowledgeable about the dishes giving us suggestions that she thought it would be yummier (actually, everything seemed deli we couldn't decide). Once we ordered it didn't take long to enjoy our food and it was just as yummy as it looks. Fresh ingredients for sure! We certainly would be back!“

“Delicious Chinese food at a good price. I had a half and half 2 item combo with broccoli and beef with Chinese roast pork. The food was fresh and delicious. Also the quantity was generous. You definitely won't be hungry afterwards. I recommend this location 100 percent.“

“First time here and I'm saddened and surprised to see it doesn't have a better rating. I ordered a combo to items beef and broccoli, mushroom chicken and a oder of fried dumplings. I was so cought up on eating I didn't take pictures except for the dumplings that arrived later since they were freshly made. Service was fas and serious the ladies attending the front counter dispatched 5 of us swiftly. Nothing bad to report in my visit clean fast friendly service.“

“Went here with my mother on Friday, September 12, 2025. They have so many delicious looking selections! My mother decided to get the Hawaiian BBQ Trio. It is $15.99 plus taxes. You are provided three different types of meat- pork, beef and chicken and macaroni and rice. I chose the fried rice. It was $13.99 plus taxes. They only advertise the Shrimp Fried Rice and since I'm not a Shrimp fan I asked if I could substitute it for a different meat. The attendant said sure would you like beef or chicken. I opted for the beef. She said no problem and substituted the meat for no extra charge. The food came out very hot within 10 minutes! They also provide bar-b-que sauce for each meal, napkins and forks. We both thought that our food tasted really good. We would definitely go back.“

“Redefining possibilities with Chinese American food to be more healthful while being delicious. The price point is amazing for being in Santa Monica with generous portions. When the menu says spicy, it’s spicy representative of Chef Bryant’s work at Cassia.“

“I had a great experience at Tigawork. The Chinese small-bowl dishes were flavorful, fresh, and nicely portioned, making it easy to try different options in one meal. The food tasted authentic and comforting, and the service was quick and friendly. It’s a great spot for a convenient and satisfying Chinese meal.“

“This is absolutely our favorite go to restaurant whenever we visit LA. A must stop for us. Living in CA and then moving to MN, we always crave for the noodles here. We visit every 2-4 years and the soups and noodles have always been consistent. The flavors are truly astonishing! We took my parents to visit last week again, and we stopped there 3X! A few days later back at home in MN and we are craving the soups already! Would definitely recommend this place.“

“Had a great meal! Forwent ordering potstickers in order to try the enticingly named Gang of 4 ×4 - a delicious decision! The Mao's Hometown was just-right spicy, and I'm sure they put more than $2 extra shrimp on my order. Service friendly and prompt, loved the art. I felt as though I had wandered back into college in the early '70s.“

“YUUUUM. This was our first time here (didn't know it was a chain) & it was delicious! We were seated right away and our server was super nice. She brought us our drinks and a side a shredded ginger. She recommended we eat it with our meal, by itself, or use it in our water! I appreciated her recs and choose to nibble on some and put the rest in my water.
We got the orange chicken and the stir fried green beans. We also tried the beef pancake. All items were generously portions and delicious. We would for sure return again!“

“Came in for lunch and we were the 1st customers. We sat down and viewed the menu. Waitress did not bring us tea and after 5 minutes I had to call her over to take our order. It was definitely different than my experience with my mom. The food was good, but not as good as my previous visit.“
“One of several new malatang places in the area, Bruin Bowl is not a large place, but they seem to have a solid selection of meats, veggies, noodles, and seafood despite their modest size. Both the bone broth and the chicken/fish maw soup bases are pretty tasty too. Excellent option if you're in the area.“

“Din Tai Fung is a very nice restaurant with a clean and comfortable feeling. I really liked the outdoor seating area. It had a chill and relaxing vibe, and they also have heaters above the table area, which helps keep your head warm when sitting outside. Nice little detail.
The food was good, and I especially liked the cucumber appetizer. It was fresh, flavorful, and a great starter. The portions are a little smaller and the price is higher, but that is kind of expected for Din Tai Fung, especially inside a mall.
One small tip: the restroom is located at the back of the restaurant. If you see a red light above the door, that means it is being used.
Overall, great food, nice outdoor setup, and a very comfortable dining experience.“

“Just tried Guilin rice noodles for the first time and I’m absolutely obsessed! The broth is incredibly fragrant and soul-warming, with a subtle spicy and savory depth that keeps you wanting more. The rice noodles themselves are silky-smooth and have the perfect chewy texture. Topped with crispy pork, peanuts, fresh herbs, and a hint of pickled vegetables—each bite is a beautiful balance of flavors and textures.
It’s not just a meal, it’s an experience. Whether you’re a foodie or just looking for something comforting and delicious, Guilin rice noodles will not disappoint. Highly recommend giving it a try!“

“I randomly found this place when I was in the area. The restaurant itself is very cute and clean. The service was superb, we got seated right away and got our water right away. We ordered the noodles, XLB and popcorn chicken and cucumber salad. The XLB was so juicy and I didn’t expect a stream to shoot out from my mouth from the first bite into the XLB. Thankfully I didn’t hit anyone with the XLB juice. I will be back to try other dishes.“

“Chowking (131 W Carson St, Carson, CA 90745) never disappoints! The Beef Wonton Noodles are flavorful and comforting, perfect for satisfying any craving. The Sago’t Gulaman and Naicha Milk Tea are refreshing and perfectly balanced in sweetness. Their Halo-Halo is a must-try — creamy, colorful, and filled with all the classic Filipino ingredients. And the Taho is just like home — warm, soft, and sweetly nostalgic.
Overall, great food, friendly service, and a clean, inviting atmosphere. Definitely a 5-star experience for anyone craving authentic Filipino-Chinese comfort food!“

“Came in around 130 and was met by a friendly hostess. Put our number down and was told it was a 15 min wait. Came back about 25 min later to see new people being seated but we weren't notified. The ambiance is welcoming with simple but nice decor. We ordered the cucumber, salted duck egg wings, mapo tofu without pork and the dan dan noodles without pork. Unfortunately I found the mapotofu and Dan Dan noodles not as quite flavorful as I would have expected. The mapotofu was more of a salt bomb with peppers. Very 2 dimensional in my opinion. I know it didnt have the pork due to dietary restrictions, but i dont think the fat from ground pork would have helped it much. The cucumber was nice and crisp with on the sweeter side with soy sauce and sesame oil. The salted duck egg wings are exactly what you would expect. Overall, friendly staff and nice ambiance...“

“I ordered their new Spicy Orange Chicken Fries and they were good. Good flavor and good portions. Not too spicy for me so I asked for extra chili oil. I also ordered their house special chow mein XTRA spicy and this definitely was spicy. Both dishes were good in flavor for the price. The only bad is the wait time for the dishes. Since they're popular now, expect to wait 30-60 minutes so order ahead!“

“Great Cantonese restaurant! My family has been coming to this restaurant for many years and the food is delicious and cooked like in Hong Kong. We had filet mignon and asparagus, sea food chow mein, Peking duck, snow pea leaf and mixed vegetables - mushroom, bok choi, fried tofu, bean sprouts, and broccoli (vegetarian dish). This place has a lot of old clientele, and tbe food is delicious.“

“This has been my favorite spot since the 80s (i'm 42). I've always loved their little chicken wings and chow mein. Even now as an adult and having lived all over California, I've yet to find a place that compares. This is a must stop for me every time I go visit family and I absolutely crave it when I'm not there.
the appearance is old and half shut down, but the Chinese food counter is still going strong. Big portions, delicious food, and great prices. And as a bonus: they are still selling the Orange Julius that I had when I was little too. I dont know how long they've been in business but since i remember them from when i was little, I can safely say at least 40 years and still Killing it.
Love you guys!“

“This place is such a hidden gem. The food was such a pleasant surprise. I got the Tingly Cumin Dry noodles, and they weren’t too oily or spicy at all (contrary to other reviews). We also got the Mama’s Dumplings which were definitely on the oilier side, but that’s due to the sauce which is made beforehand.
The noodles were so good that we had to get the Szechuan Garlic flavor to-go, but that soon was eaten within the same hour… Also the peach fruit tea is so refreshing and not too sweet.
If you’re worried about too much spice, don’t be. It’s the perfect amount.
And yes the cashier was very patient and helpful.“

“This was my first time and I loved it! I pass by sometimes and always wanted to try it. I ordered through DoorDash today and it was great. I got the Mongolian BBQ with egg rolls and a slush that had boba in it. I wanted it super spicy and it turned out just right. I even loved the boba it wasn’t hard or had a weird texture. They exceeded my expectations. The portion size was super filling for the price. I’m so happy I got this today :)“

“First time here and I love the buy 3 combos get 2 drinks free or another combo free (Your choice) but has to be the two meat combos. I wish they had all the food available all the time but I guess its because we went late. Loved the taste of most of the food but my kid said the orange chicken could have been better? I didn't try it so I don't know what it tasted like. Overall I will make this place my go to Chinese food place. I plan on trying other items until I tried everything plus the perks of anything free is a win. The price is very reasonable and the portions are pretty good. I should have taken pictures of my food but I was just too hungry and excited to try the food here. Next time I go I will take pictures and update this review.“

“One of the best spots in Koreatown for jjajangmyeon and jjampong! The prices are very reasonable, and the service is quick, friendly, and welcoming. In my opinion, this is one of the best Korean-Chinese restaurants in K-Town. The sweet and sour beef or pork is also a must-try—crispy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!“

“I had a really good meal at Juicy Dumpling Factory! The soup dumplings were solid and packed with a lot of juicy broth. I also tried the pan-fried dumplings, and those were probably my favorite—they’re crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and just fun to eat.
The cucumber salad was bomb and super refreshing. I also ordered the beef noodle soup, and I was pleasantly surprised. The noodles were bouncy, tasted fresh, and the broth had a lot of flavor. It looks spicy, but it’s actually much milder than I expected, which made it easy to enjoy.
Overall, a great spot if you’re craving dumplings and comforting noodle dishes. I’d definitely come back to try more from the menu!“

“Going to miss this place now that it's closing down. Got introduced to this place by a friend and been going to eat there sense. The food is good, love the honey sesame chicken, the prices are fairly low compared to any food location around the area. They're very generous with the amount of protein they give too. This was the place to go if you didn't want to spend money and now it's closing. Going to miss they're water too, it was nice and cool, perfect. I suggest visiting they're sister location in Ktown and giving them support as they're a family owned business that's been in the community for a long time.“

“No tip. Yes, you heard right. You don't need to tip here. Almost everything is self serve, they do bring out the food and you can leave the trays on the table, but they don't care about tip, at least when we were there. A lot of their focus was takeout, so when we got in (not during the semester), it was empty. You get your own water from a pretty strong tap. Food was served in disposable big bowls which is nice.
Food is amazing, and the quantity given was decent. Hot or cold, noodles were great, lots of flavor, fresh. And the popcorn chicken was pretty good too, fresh and crispy.“

“This isn't my first time here. I ordered the set menu of the spicy seafood noodle, black bean noodle, and the sweet and sour fried pork. The noodles were great but I was taken aback when I saw the portion and the presentation of the fried pork. Hmm it barely covered the plate and it wasn't stacked, but the waitress brought out a bowl more while we were eating. It wasn't bad it just did not look like the photo lol.“

“I went to pick up some food since it’s super closed to my hotel. It’s prob the best 12$ I’ve ever spend. I got a combo which includes orange chicken, green bean, fried rice and noodle. It was too much food for 2 people but we really enjoyed it. They were really comforting for my asian food craving. The lady at the front was very sweet.“
