“The full size beef soup is very small.
The tables are sticky which is not nice.
We were party of 3 They brought the beef soup first and after 10 minutes the chicken noodle. They need to serve all together.
What's the point??
Great workers“

“Din Tai Fung is a very nice restaurant with a clean and comfortable feeling. I really liked the outdoor seating area. It had a chill and relaxing vibe, and they also have heaters above the table area, which helps keep your head warm when sitting outside. Nice little detail.
The food was good, and I especially liked the cucumber appetizer. It was fresh, flavorful, and a great starter. The portions are a little smaller and the price is higher, but that is kind of expected for Din Tai Fung, especially inside a mall.
One small tip: the restroom is located at the back of the restaurant. If you see a red light above the door, that means it is being used.
Overall, great food, nice outdoor setup, and a very comfortable dining experience.“

“It’s a little decent spot within a little strip mall in Santa Monica. While the strips a little dusty and downward, Lee’s itself is always clean.
I’ve been coming here once in a while for the better part of the past 8 years when occasionally I want decent “fast food” without typically high Santa Monica take out prices.
The 2 combo plate is a good deal. Under $12 bucks. The Orange chicken/ Teriyaki Combo with Chow mien & veggies. The Orange chicken is never tastes like it’s stale and been sitting all day. The Teriyaki Chicken hits pretty well too. It isn’t dry nor tasteless. And the sauce is decent. The Chow mien isn’t classic but it hits the spot. And the portions are large. While I do need a sprite or ginger ale to combat the sodium afterwards, the occasional compromise is worth it 👍🏾“

“This is my favorite Thai restaurant! The food is amazing, the restaurant is beautifully decorated and the people are so warm and kind. My family has been dining here for over 20 years. It has been our go to restaurant for every special occasion. They even decorated our table for my youngest child’s birthday this year.“

“I want to take a moment to recognize Cindy, who is an absolute rockstar at this Panda Express location!
I typically only have a quick 15 minute break to run in and pick up my food, and Cindy consistently goes above and beyond to make sure my order is ready to go so I can get back to work on time. Her efficiency is incredible, but what really stands out is her customer service. I’ve watched her interact with so many other guests, and she keeps that same amazing, high energy, welcoming attitude with everyone who walks through the door.
She truly excels at making every single customer feel greeted and completely taken care of. Cindy is definitely a keeper, and she deserves to be formally recognized and rewarded for the incredible job she continuously does for this company. Management should absolutely acknowledge her hard work and honestly, the rest of the staff could learn a lot from her traits!
Thank you, Cindy, for always making my day easier!“

I love coming here not only for the fresh, delicious menu items but also for the friendly conversations and positive experiences. With Panda Rewards on top of that, it’s the perfect spot to stop by in between my medical studies. Highly recommend!“

The food tasted authentic and comforting, and the service was quick and friendly. It’s a great spot for a convenient and satisfying Chinese meal.“

“I had such a wonderful meal at this spot in Sherman Oaks. Everything arrived at the table looking beautiful, especially the way the spring rolls and other dishes were presented on top of those crispy rice noodles.
The food was absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. The portion sizes were perfect for sharing, and I really enjoyed the combination of textures in every bite. I will definitely be back soon.“

“Had a great meal! Forwent ordering potstickers in order to try the enticingly named Gang of 4 ×4 - a delicious decision! The Mao's Hometown was just-right spicy, and I'm sure they put more than $2 extra shrimp on my order. Service friendly and prompt, loved the art. I felt as though I had wandered back into college in the early '70s.“

“YUUUUM. This was our first time here (didn't know it was a chain) & it was delicious! We were seated right away and our server was super nice. She brought us our drinks and a side a shredded ginger. She recommended we eat it with our meal, by itself, or use it in our water! I appreciated her recs and choose to nibble on some and put the rest in my water.
We got the orange chicken and the stir fried green beans. We also tried the beef pancake. All items were generously portions and delicious. We would for sure return again!“

“One of several new malatang places in the area, Bruin Bowl is not a large place, but they seem to have a solid selection of meats, veggies, noodles, and seafood despite their modest size. Both the bone broth and the chicken/fish maw soup bases are pretty tasty too. Excellent option if you're in the area.“

“I randomly found this place when I was in the area. The restaurant itself is very cute and clean. The service was superb, we got seated right away and got our water right away. We ordered the noodles, XLB and popcorn chicken and cucumber salad. The XLB was so juicy and I didn’t expect a stream to shoot out from my mouth from the first bite into the XLB. Thankfully I didn’t hit anyone with the XLB juice. I will be back to try other dishes.“

“No tip. Yes, you heard right. You don't need to tip here. Almost everything is self serve, they do bring out the food and you can leave the trays on the table, but they don't care about tip, at least when we were there. A lot of their focus was takeout, so when we got in (not during the semester), it was empty. You get your own water from a pretty strong tap. Food was served in disposable big bowls which is nice.
Food is amazing, and the quantity given was decent. Hot or cold, noodles were great, lots of flavor, fresh. And the popcorn chicken was pretty good too, fresh and crispy.“

“Great Cantonese restaurant! My family has been coming to this restaurant for many years and the food is delicious and cooked like in Hong Kong. We had filet mignon and asparagus, sea food chow mein, Peking duck, snow pea leaf and mixed vegetables - mushroom, bok choi, fried tofu, bean sprouts, and broccoli (vegetarian dish). This place has a lot of old clientele, and tbe food is delicious.“

“This has been my favorite spot since the 80s (i'm 42). I've always loved their little chicken wings and chow mein. Even now as an adult and having lived all over California, I've yet to find a place that compares. This is a must stop for me every time I go visit family and I absolutely crave it when I'm not there.
the appearance is old and half shut down, but the Chinese food counter is still going strong. Big portions, delicious food, and great prices. And as a bonus: they are still selling the Orange Julius that I had when I was little too. I dont know how long they've been in business but since i remember them from when i was little, I can safely say at least 40 years and still Killing it.
Love you guys!“

“Finding a restaurant that consistently delivers great food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere is becoming increasingly rare, which is why my experience at Ping Pong Chinese Cuisine in Encino was such a pleasant surprise.
From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed. The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable right away. Whether you're visiting for a family dinner, a casual lunch, or a special celebration, the environment strikes the perfect balance between relaxed and refined.
The food was absolutely exceptional. Every dish arrived beautifully presented, fresh, and full of authentic flavor. What stood out most was the attention to detail—each ingredient tasted carefully selected, and every recipe seemed crafted with both tradition and quality in mind. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, showcasing the depth and variety that make Chinese cuisine so beloved around the world.
One of the things I appreciated most was the consistency throughout the meal. From the appetizers to the main courses, every dish maintained the same high standard. It's clear that the kitchen takes pride in every plate that leaves the door. The portions were generous, making the experience even more enjoyable and perfect for sharing with friends and family.
The service was equally impressive. The staff was attentive, professional, and genuinely friendly. They were happy to answer questions, offer recommendations, and ensure that every guest felt taken care of. Their hospitality added a personal touch that transformed a great meal into a truly memorable dining experience.
What makes Ping Pong Chinese Cuisine special is that it manages to feel both familiar and exciting at the same time. There is a comforting authenticity in the food while also offering enough variety and creativity to keep every visit interesting. It’s the kind of place where you can return again and again and always find something new to enjoy.
Another aspect worth mentioning is the overall attention to customer experience. Every detail, from the cleanliness of the restaurant to the efficiency of the service, reflects a commitment to excellence. You can tell that the team genuinely cares about creating positive experiences for their guests.
In today's competitive restaurant scene, it takes something special to stand out, and Ping Pong Chinese Cuisine absolutely succeeds. Exceptional food, welcoming service, generous portions, and a wonderful atmosphere come together to create a dining experience that exceeds expectations.
I left thoroughly impressed and already looking forward to my next visit. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for their hard work and dedication. “I went to pick up some food since it’s super closed to my hotel. It’s prob the best 12$ I’ve ever spend. I got a combo which includes orange chicken, green bean, fried rice and noodle. It was too much food for 2 people but we really enjoyed it. They were really comforting for my asian food craving. The lady at the front was very sweet.“

“Qi Steam Kitchen is so good! We tried several items from the menu, including the chicken wonton soup, chicken xiao long bao, beef noddle soup, beef and vegetable dumplings, scallion pancakes, and pan fried pork bao. All were delicious and came out so quickly! It’s a small restaurant, but there are still several places to sit. There is a small parking lot. The server was very attentive.“

“Love the food here so much! The spicy beef noodle soup is my favorite. Just bad and unwelcoming customer service. Black people treat other black people so weird. It’s terrible. The man didn’t greet us not one time. Didn’t say a word to us at all until we asked a question. I said hi when he put water on our table, no response. Praying his day gets better. The rest of the staff is friendly though!“

“Dined here around 3:30pm and it was empty, so great time to come! We ordered sweet & sour chicken, orange chicken, chicken chow mein, and Mongolian beef and all dishes were delicious! Portions are big (we all got small but we all had lots of leftovers).
They also have boba milk tea which was one of the best we've ever had. It wasn't too sweet and tasted like they actually used real tea. Perfect for a hot day.
Prices were good and the employees were friendly. Def a good place to go for Chinese cuisine.“

“My family and I had such a wonderful experience here! The food was delicious, but what truly made our visit special was our server, Zeeshan. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel welcomed and valued. He was incredibly kind, attentive, patient, and professional throughout the entire meal.
We accidentally had a mix-up with part of our order, and Zeeshan handled it with such a positive attitude and genuine care. He quickly helped resolve everything and made sure we were completely satisfied. It’s rare to come across customer service this exceptional.
Thank you, Zeeshan, for making our night so enjoyable. Your kindness and dedication did not go unnoticed. The food was fantastic, but Zeeshan outstanding service is what will bring us back. Thank you for making our night so special!“

“Here's what I want in a Chinese restaurant:
Owned and operated by Chinese (yes)
A BIG menu (yes)
Fried things, steamed things, grilled things (yes)
Vegetables, lots of vegetables (yes)
A not previously frozen (not sure but there's is meh)
At least 3 soups (yes)
I don't get a headache or need to drink a ton of water (yes)
Leftovers (yes)
Is it the best Chinese place ever? No, I'm not tasting 5-spice powder, whatever New York or San Francisco have going on, this place doesn't, but what's really important is it's the best in a 3 city radius. I highly recommend it if you don't want to drive.“

“The food was delicious, especially the scallion pancakes, which were the best I’ve ever had. The Dan noodles were a good match with the braised beef. Popcorn chicken was delicious. The soup dumplings were okay, but they were not very large for the price. The rice and sides were also good.
The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was pleasant. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend it.“

“5 stars! Love this family-owned Chinese spot in LA—generous portions, friendly service, and all the classic dishes done right. The honey walnut shrimp is crispy and sweet, the won ton soup is comforting, and the roasted duck is absolutely fantastic—skin so crispy it shatters, meat juicy and full of flavor. Perfect for family dinners or casual takeout, always fresh and satisfying. Highly recommend!“

“Fantastic Chinese food in strip mall location with friendly service and fair price. Dim Sum is monterey park level. Duck is first rate. It has its charm but you have to give up on fast service or ambience. However, if great authentic Chinese food is a priority with no fuss or pretense this place is solid gold. Im here twice a month.
