“Wow this place was so good! This was my first time here was recommended by a coworker! Wow my taste buds were so happy I ate here. Flavor in every bite. I also had an old fashioned here and I was thinking about that drink for 2 days! I would tell you run don’t walk run and grab a seat and eat here whenever you get a chance.“

“Anyone who rates this less than 5 stars is lying. This place is perfect. Super fast service, you get your food within minutes of ordering and the line moves fast. I have tried every single thing on the menu and there wasn't a single item that wasn't a perfect 10/10. So flavorful, you can't go wrong with whatever you order.“

++ On a busy night, seated immediately with no reservations. Huge win.

+ Dan Mien with short ribs was good. Noodles were chewy, beef was well seasoned.

- Sesame noodles were terrible. Texture was similar to plaster of paris and taste was off. It could be that I'm used to toasted sesame oil and this was just (untoasted?) sesame.

+ Pan-friend dumplings were tasty. Texture was great -- love crispy exteriors and soft interiors.

* Daughter loved the boba tea. I thought it was just average -- fine but no outstanding flavors. Give me Sunright any day over this (or any other!) boba.“

“Despite the gluten-free options listed, I was informed by staff that due to their small kitchen this restaurant is NOT safe for those with celiac/true gluten allergies. That said, my family enjoyed the unique menu, especially the brussel sprouts.“

“We went to Dan Modern Chinese on a Thursday evening around 7:15pm. We had called earlier and were told there wasn’t a need to make reservations. When we got there, they had several tables available and we were seated immediately. The restaurant looks nice from the outside and was also very clean, roomy and comfortable inside. The restaurant doesn’t try to be a fancy affair, rather a casual spot and the furniture reflects it. That’s not a criticism, just a choice they made and it works really well.

Service was quick, friendly and efficient. We got our drinks orders in and it came out quickly. The menu had clearly marked options for vegetarians We then placed our food order. They appear to bring out food as it becomes ready rather than sequencing the meal, so if you prefer a sequence, you should infor your server.

The taste of the food was OK. While I don’t think anything was bad, it wasn’t great either. We asked for chili oil to try and spice it up a little.

Overall, I’d say an average on taste, great service and decent atmosphere. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quick, casual, modern Chinese restaurant!!“
