Great food and value. Staff is friendly and I love the atmosphere, the food is overall pretty good, but on some days it may be lackluster, perhaps due to a different chef. It's basically the quintessential entry price buffet experience, but better for what you're paying than most.
Would definitely suggest visiting
If you're out exploring Torrance or cruising along the Pacific Coast Highway and want a massive meal without breaking the bank, China Buffet is an awesome local gem. The vibe here is completely unpretentious and super welcoming for travelers, making it the perfect casual pitstop to just load up a plate and relax.
This is your typical Chinese buffet. Has the layout that most buffets have. General Tso chicken, mushrooms, coconut shrimp, vegetable lo mein and orange chicken were all very good. Dessert selection is also very similar to any other buffets. Teriyaki chicken wasn't too good. Wasn't seasoned. $52 for 2 people is reasonable but they charge drink separately so just be aware. I would come again for sure.
