Panama International Restaurant (PTY) offers authentic Panamanian cuisine with a West Indies style twist. The empanadas are fresh, very tasty, packed with flavor, larger than most places in Panama serve, and crispy on the outside. The snapper fillet is a huge fillet, and the stuffed Red snapper is described as having no words. The oxtail dish is amazing, tender, falling off the bone, with a flavor out of this world, and not drowned in seasoning or gravy. The chiviche is fantastic. For drinks, the soursop lemonade is refreshing and tangy, made purely of the soursop fruit. The sorreal has a nice blend of ginger and sugar that does not overpower the hibiscus. For dessert, the Rum Cake is highly recommended as the best dessert ever. The atmosphere is a chill Panamanian ambiance, and the service is amazing, with owners who are friendly, pleasant to speak to, and provide great service delivery. The food is rich in flavor, authentic, and made with love. It is the only place serving Panamanian food in the area, and it surpasses expectations.
