Excellent pastries. Loved their chocolate cookies, croissants and buns!!!
Hidden gem and my new go-to high quality bakery! I’ve had the morning bun, corn cookie and chocolate chip cookie - all sooo delicious I can’t pick a favorite.

Hey Brother Baker is an excellent addition to the Zaferia neighborhood and a Long Beach must-visit. The bakery offers a variety of delicious pastries and breads. Specific items include the apple goat cheese Danish, described as lightly sweet, flaky, and a tad herby, the almond croissant, the Rosa St sourdough, crumb cake, pan au chocolate, and cookies. The Hey Sister mocha, made with 56% Ecuadorian Dark Chocolate, has a unique pink peppercorn and lemony taste. The plain sourdough bread also exceeds expectations. The staff are consistently noted as very friendly and patient. The establishment provides a place to sit and enjoy drinks with pastries. Customers highly recommend it for everything from a chocolate bomb of a breakfast to simple, excellent bread.
