“My partner and I came in for breakfast. We had the Quiche and the American Breakfast. The quiche was very good but the fries it came with were not. The bacon that came with the American breakfast had good flavor but was overcooked. We also shared a pancake, we did like the pancake but felt it was a little undercooked. Overall a nice experience, but we expected more from the food. We might try again for other dishes.“

Exterior vibe is boaty lol as the café is tucked away between the Wilmington Marina & surrounded by boats. There are booths & a counter inside but why would you sit inside if the outside is refreshing? Lol There is usually a pup or two on the patio that is generally calm. There are occasions the pups go a little nuts over the birds or ducks around. Lol Yes, there is a small menu for dogs. Staff is friendly, professional, & efficient. Food is simple but good. A couple surprises: the French toast & the menudo. Both are delicious! WC: Key required, separate facilities for ladies & gents.“

Also, while eating the food, I felt how sincere the chef and owner are about the food. Other places often don't have fresh ingredients, but here all the ingredients are fresh and they don't skimp on the ingredients. It's close to home so I think I'll go often.“
“A beachside cafe on the sand is everything I didn't know I needed here in LA/OC. It's such a great chill spot, plenty of parking, just steps away from the Pacific Ocean. They have corn hole, giant Jenga, a climbing park right next to it. So it's an amazing spot for families and even the pups (they offer unseasoned grilled beef patties!)I got the tofu banh mi with a side salad and a machaca breakfast burrito. Surprisingly, the food was actually pretty impressive, half of me was expecting beach shack quality. The food does take a bit to come out, but it's not fast food here. They serve alcohol, have vegan options, breakfast all day. It's a pretty great spot to relax, enjoy the sound of the beach waves, dig your toes in the sand, and eat/drink.“

I'm always shocked by how few people are dining here. Clean, fun music, plenty of seating.“

Great beer options, well stocked bar, and a very good kitchen are all available to the visitor. I came by for lunch and ordered the cheese steak sandwich. It was AMAZING. They use truffle cheese, great bread, and the whole thing was delicious. Small pickle slice and pickled veggie garnish was a great touch. Service is solid and the place was not very crowded at noontime. Lots of live music and other stuff going on at night too.“

It’s not a sit down restaurant, it’s like a collective of restaurants, like a food court but not because there’s only a couple places to sit and eat. You can order food online or at the site and pick up there. I didn’t know it was set up this way so it was confusing when driving there and trying to find it. The building says Daisy on it, you can park and go in.“

They have the entire process down; everything is so organized and all the little details are considered and communicated.I have to give a huge shoutout to the sweetest ever, Angela, who initiated our contract. (She's unfortunately no longer with the company, but wanted to mention her, as she was such a huge part of us wanting to sign on). We were then re-assigned to Kat, who was equally awesome. She helped us finalize all the details of our contract (as we made a few customizations) and ran through the timeline and finishing touches with us before the wedding.Then, on the day of, the team, led by Mila, was phenomenal. Everything was set beautifully, the food was delicious, and everyone was just so kind and a joy to work with.Would highly recommend this team, if you are thinking about hiring a catering company for your next event! :))“
“After bowling a couple games, I decided to stop in Cal Bowl Coffee Shop for a bite to eat. Went with something simple and healthy. A salad with the works. After placing my order (I was the only customer) I started wondering what was taking so long. Grab the salad out of the fridge and serve. Much to my surprise, the guy made the salad there on the spot. Fresh ingredients, including bacon, turkey, cheese, crisp fresh veggies and slices of egg! No pre-made salad sitting for days ... made there on the spot, and wow! Excellent. Seems everything is pretty much made this way. Definitely worth a short wait because the food and flavor is rewarding. AND my order was just a salad. LoL. Will be back to sample some of the special doughnuts and a cooked meal. Don't let the 'cafe' fool you, this is quality dinning.“
“Wonderful service. Our waitress, Candy, was excellent. Food was delicious and servings were large portions. Bread basket was unique and delicious. We had the beets and the fig NY steak which was cooked to the temperature we asked. Our only critique was that the homemade ice cream was a little too icy as if it may have had freezer burn. The presentation on everything was beautiful. We will come back again with friends.“

“We lucked out and came on the last Saturday of the month when the dueling pianos duke it out vocally and musically and they delivered for us and our kids. They played crowd favorites and kid favorites. Not a lot of places you can hear Sweet Caroline followed by Peaches from Super Mario Brothers. The service was great too. “This place was awesome. We were visiting the area and decided to stop in for lunch. We had tried to stop in on Saturday but it was packed. So, we on Monday afternoon to take a break from checking out used bookstores. There was only one other table occupied. Our waiter was being trained by another server and they were both great. The atmosphere was cozy, and the food was fantastic. My son said he wished we had one where we're from. I agreed. Definitely glad we stopped in.Dietary restrictions: They are gluten friendly. Be careful if you're gluten sensitive and can handle small amounts of cross contamination. I'm gluten sensitive due to auto-immune disease but I am generally okay with things in a shared fryer. I ordered the fries. Thankfully, our server informed us they toss their fries in flour before frying. That I cannot do. Burgers and sandwiches can be served on gluten free buns.“

(Jordan) And some of his art work was displayed for sale. It was pretty fun! The DJ booth looks cool! The giant screen allowed them to play their new music video for their band called Wamdingis! (Check them out!) That night was lit! Thank you to the bar tenders & chef! The fried cheese curds were unforgettable! Came back here another time with a girlfriend because she was sad about her guy. Anyway, we ordered the tater tots (yummy!) & some seltzer drinks. I sang a song for Karaoke night on Sunday. We also ordered the mushroom Swiss burger and added bacon! Omg! So glad we split it! That was too good! Then we bar hopped a little before going home. Tonight, I was supposed to help my sister's band with merch at the Santa Ana art walk but they finished before I got there so I turned around and went home and Lyfted here.
