Excellent Cambodian/Cajun fusion food. The Cajon bag was well worth it and the sauce was honestly perhaps, the best I've ever had. I highly reccomend the beef sticks too. Big thumbs up to Angeka who was super polite and incredibly attentive. We waited just a few minutes for the food. It is more of a small, casual dining type atmosphere. Delicious and we will be back!
Particularly delicious garlic shrimp and fried rice. Consistently good. Highly recommended.
The Cajun boil was amazing. Good food at good price. Definitely a place to try.

A&J Seafood Shack is a small, casual dining restaurant offering Cambodian/Cajun fusion food. The food is really good, and every dish has a unique flavor you can't get anywhere else. It is already one of the favorite Cambodian places in Long Beach, and the family run restaurant's second location is in San Pedro. The establishment is small like a shack with limited seating. Three bench tables are available to sit, and a counter wraps around facing the street. Parking is limited, so takeout is recommended.
The Cajun bag was well worth it, and the sauce was perhaps the best ever. The beef sticks, khmer sausage, seafood, seafood chowder, crispy salmon with mango salsa, stir fried noodles, Salt & Pepper Wings, Braised Pork Bowl, fried rice, garlic shrimp, short ribs, Cajun bag shrimp, and pickle cabbage are all mentioned. The seafood chowder was rich, creamy, with just a hint of funk and cheese. The Thai iced coffee was potent. The workers are very helpful and nice, super polite and incredibly attentive. Service was both friendly and accommodating, and great with recommendations. The whole operation was run by one guy. Good people, hope the business continues to grow.
