“The best sushi restaurant in San Pedro. I tried the Chef's Special Roll, the salmon lunch special, albacore sushi, and the eel roll. The sushi was incredibly fresh, and the pieces were large and thick, offering an excellent texture. The quality and texture of the sushi rice were also outstanding. Every dish felt high-end and delicious. I am delighted to have found such high-quality sushi in San Pedro. The interior was clean, and the staff were so nice and friendly that I felt truly well-cared for.“

“Seriously, the Cambodian Dirt are the best wings I have ever had in my life, and I’m 58 years old and love wings. The Dirty Elvis is a close second and they need to have wet naps available even though you end up licking your fingers. The noodles and fried rice are tasty, too. The Coca-Cola is balanced perfectly. I’d put them up against McDonald’s. But don’t sleep on the Chicken Wings. They are really the best!“

“Josui is the most authentic tasting Japanese ramen restaurant I’ve found in Torrance. My personal favorite is the Abura Soba, especially in the warm summer months, but the Josui ramen both with and without garlic is fantastic. My co-workers go nuts for the Tan-tan men.

“Consistent food quality and portions. Clean and the tables have enough space to order multiple things (unlike Yard House). I live near here so I walk and for that reason I know the parking situation is not the restaurants fault. It's very difficult to find parking so I recommend carpooling. The broths have plenty of flavor, the meat is not thin. I recommend for parties up to 4 since the restaurant usually has people dining in. Overall I hope this restaurant survives the economy since it's worth wanting a restaurant experience.“

“I've been to several Marugame locations, and I like this one because it is very spacious and in a great location. Service is always consistent.

That said, I'm glad that I came back to a lovely surprise. For a very short period of time, the Nikutama Curry Udon, a huge customer favorite was taken off the menu. I'm happy to say that it has returned after much customer feedback. Thank you to the CEO for listening to the uproar and for reverting the menu to include this dish again. There were enough fans of that udon bowl who were ready to choose violence, so I hope it returns permanently.

If you haven't tried the Nikutama Curry Udon, it's a must-try at least once. You will not regret it.“

This is my number 1 go to for Vietnamese Pho the originals of this creation. I got myself a large bowl, the broth is light and savory tasting not too strong and the portions are generous. Remember to taste the broth first taste the hard work they put into it before you remix it. their chili oil is not spicy I would like for them to get a more spicy chili oil but besides all that yall should most definitely come here ! 💯“

“Small little thai place with the friendliest servers ever. Theyre also always playing some kind of food adventure shows on their TV and often in Asia or in Thailand. Great place for a quick bite. Good food. Good people. Good shows. I wish this place the best.“

“Lately, I’ve been very into kimbap. However, I can be pretty picky about it in terms of what’s inside. There’s sooooo many options for what kind of kimbap you want. For me, I’m really into the beef kimbap. Kimbap Paradise has the best beef kimbap, in my opinion.

The restaurant is located in Torrance, super close to my home. It’s in a busy shopping center so there’s plenty of parking. I easily just call in my order and pick it up. It’s usually ready within 10/15 mins depending on how busy they are. I never dined in, but there’s lost of seating inside to do so. If you’re not a kimbap fan, they have many other Korean dishes to choose from.“

“I stopped by and tried a few dishes. What stuck out to me was how long the food took to prepare when the place was practically empty. I overheard another table also commenting on their wait time for food. Other than that, the food was delicious and the service was fine. The restaurant is pretty old and dingy but I wasn’t expecting anything fancy, I was just there for some food to treat my homesickness.

The salaw machu kreung and the prahok sauce was really good. The frog was alright tbh, I guess I’m not used to it being prepared in that way. (It was deep fried and then stir fried with the kreung paste and veggies I believe.) It was still good, just different. I’m glad I gave them a try, gotta support the Khmer businesses 🫶🏼🇰🇭“

“The food is fabulous every time I try to call in an order. Nobody wants to pick up when I go to pick up the order. They don't recognize females as much as they recognize. Men.
For example, I'm standing there 15 minutes. Waiting for the lady to ask me what I'm there for and she didn't, so I sat down to wait. A man came in and she instantly said, are you here for pick up or to eat?“

“I've been eating this restaurant A 15+ year Torrance staple! Japanese-owned with authentic Chuka Ryori (rice dishes), they still serve all the original classics, and the ramen is better than ever.

While the wok dishes are nearly as good as they were historically, everything is still great and worth ordering.

“I love how ethnic markets: Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and Mexican supermarkets in So. Cal included a food court where everyone can sample ethnic dishes. At this H Mart, I ordered Hot Stone Bibimbap. It arrived with three sides, and two sauces. Yummy doesn’t even begin to describe this dish. All the raw vegetables were freshly sliced, warmed by the heat of the stone and rice. The cooked vegetables were perfectly cooked-maintaining their bright green color. I prefer low salt, so I just poured in a little bit of the sauce. While sitting down to eat my lunch, I thought about groceries to pick up from H-Mart. I’m a little surprised that this food court with 4 eateries wasn’t busier during the week. Bring your appetite.“
