“I have been at many many El Pollo Loco locations since the early 80s. I happen to be doing some business in the city of San Pedro about 55 miles away from 91786. The staff was friendly. The staff assisted me ordering through the app so I can get my specials and my discounts. The food was excellent and served hot and I was given a dog bowl for some water for my puppies and also a large cup not a tiny cup for ice water. Israel was very sweet and so is the rest of the staff. This EPL should show other EPL locations that this is the way customer should be treated: with knowledge and manners, and of course great tasting food. Kudos to EPL San Pedro on Gaffey!“

Last weekend, I was looking for a quick bite in Redondo Beach and came across this place right on my way to the beach. Decided to grab some take-out, and it was absolutely amazing!

The chicken was perfectly cooked all the way through(which is rare these days since a lot of places leave it undercooked inside) but here, the meat was still incredibly juicy and tender, not dry at all.

I ordered the regular wings, and they had a nice little kick to them, but definitely not too spicy. Honestly, this is hands down the best take-out food to grab before heading down to the beach

“This chicken is delicious! I lived in Long Beach for over 12 years and on the day I was moving out of Long Beach we went and got some. I wish I had found this place sooner!!! “So far I have tried the spicy Korean fried chicken bowl, pork belly bowl and japchae, all of delicious. Always fresh. My toddler only likes japchae from an AYCE kbbq in Garden Grove, but she has approved of yours. 10/10 every time. I am always greeted with a smile. I will keep coming back.“

“At first didn't think much about the place due to the store front and name bbq chicken, figure it was just a regular chicken spot but I was in a mood for wings. While viewing the menu I was intrigued by the flavors offered. Now let me tell you i very impressed by the smell. Plus the container was perfect fully closed with air pockets so the 🐔 could breath. Now this always makes a difference no matter how the food smell. Maintaining that crispyness I look for.. now let me get to this chicken. Boy/ Girl let me tell you, chicken sooooo good make you wanna slap your momma. Flavor 10, texture 10, plus the service 10, this a perfect game for me. Triple doubles. me and wifey was licking each other finger fighting for the last drip. Been a while since I had something this good in Cali. “We ordered the signature bone-in chicken, the brussels sprouts, the fried spaghetti appetizer, and the matcha tiramisu. Everything was super yummy except for the fried spaghetti, I don't think it was worth it, it looked like a cup of raw spaghetti but the sticks were crispy. The bone-in chicken was very juicy and flavorful, and the brussels sprouts tasted great with the mayo. The matcha tiramisu was delicious as well. The waiters were friendly and attentive, the only complaint I have is that it was very noisy inside and a bit hard to hear each other talk. Other than that I have been looking for a chance to go back!“

I used to crave Thank You Chicken in K-town all the time, but since moving far away, I hadn't been able to have it. Luckily, I randomly discovered on Google Maps that there is a location in Lomita, and I immediately drove over!
My baby fell asleep in the car, so I originally placed a to-go order. However, while the owner was packing up the food, my baby woke up. I asked if we could switch to dine-in instead, and the owner was incredibly sweet and welcoming about it, saying it was absolutely no problem.
The chicken tasted just as amazing as I remembered, and the service was top-notch. I’m so glad I don’t have to drive all the way to K-town anymore. I will definitely be a regular here ☺“

“I live about 30 minutes away but whenever I get the chance I stop by and have their tacos de chicharron de pollo. They're my favorite tacos ever, tortillas seem hand made and extra thick. “About a week ago I tried the chicken tenders I was surprised they were very very good they're better than canes chicken tenders. They were juicier, cane's tenders seem to be a little drier. I wanted to try the spicy but I was afraid that it might be too hot and it would ruin the whole thing and I wouldn't have any dinner to eat so I opted for two original and one done spicy so I could find out whether or not I like the spicy. It had Mexican spices on it and I like spicy but not so hot that you can't taste what you're eating only the hotness so I tried it and it was so good and especially dunked in the ranch dressing that even helped I think to cool it down a little bit but it really wasn't that hot. But I will warn you it was hot the next morning if you get my meaning. And I had them substitute whatever it is that comes with the chicken tenders substitute that with a scoop of mashed potatoes and gravy they kind of screwed up on that I got a container of nothing but gravy. That's why I gave them a four star instead of a five. Otherwise everything would have been perfect. I'm going to have it again and try it again Friday night's dinner and hopefully I can get a scoop of mashed potatoes with some gravy on it to make it more of a complete dinner instead of chips or whatever comes with the tenders I'm not sure. I also tried the Pollo loco dip sauce to see what that tasted like and to see if it was too hot or not and it wasn't I used it on the regular chicken tenders. Through the years I have never liked El Pollo loco.I do now.“
