Burrito Caliente Reviews
Nice little spot, might become a regular. The tacos and flautitas were great, made fresh. Everything on the menus looks awesome, they have a nice selection including full plates. I held back this visit, so I'll be back. They serve breakfast as well. I also grabbed a mango queso flan on the way out, it was delicious. Counter service was good, sweet lady working the restaurant.
The chicken mole was excellent. Nice portion also.
Good food for reasonable prices!

Based on the reviews, Burrito Caliente is a hidden gem and a hole-in-the-wall spot where locals come for authentic Oaxacan food. The service is always quick and genuinely friendly, making customers feel like family. The menu features one of the best chilaquiles in the area, which are good with over medium eggs, rice, and beans, though they can be a little spicy. Other standout dishes include authentic Mole Oaxaqueño, garnachas, delicious tamales Oaxaqueños, and amazing breakfast burritos like chorizo and egg burritos. The specialty street tacos are also a standout, with perfectly soft tortillas and tender, juicy carne asada. The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and everything tastes homemade. While the burritos taste good, some find them itsy-bitsy teeny tiny for the price, and the restaurant does not stay open past 8pm. However, the chilaquiles cost $15 with taxes, which is not bad. The authentic Cafe de Olla is also a great treat. Customers highly recommend this spot for Mexican cuisine.
