“She is always a nice person . Food is decent but portions are a little small as far as meat is concerned . Being from the east coast we have plenty of island cuisine . And it feels good to get some in Inglewood. All she has to do is offer a bigger selection of food . Normally it's just one Jamaican dish to choose from and bean pies and the normal soups and American food . All are great. Just wish she had a bigger variety“

“Came here kinda randomly and I’m honestly glad I did. The jerk chicken had that perfect smoky spice, tender inside with just the right kick on the outside. The rice and peas were super flavorful and actually tasted like they were cooked with care, not just a side thrown on the plate. Portions were big, so I was full way before I even finished everything. The staff was friendly and had a chill attitude that made the place feel welcoming. It’s not a fancy spot at all, but the food definitely speaks for itself. I’d 100% come back again.“

Then to get home and eat...whew! Chicken falling off the bone, plantains hitting ever flavor buttons, and the rice & peas. I am glad we ate at home, because we might fall out from satisfaction and fulfillment. And we have leftovers! We will be back.“

“This was my first time at Patties N Tingz. I purchased their medium spicy beef patty. It tasted good ,it had enough meat in the middle, and the bread was flacky on the outside. The only issue l I had was that it was too soft in the middle for my liking. I’ll be back to try more. My overall score for the patties is 4.2 🌟. Customer service is a 4.0🌟.“

“The best Jamaican food outside of Jamaica. The jerk chicken was perfectly flavored, including the rice and cabbage that were both cooked and seasoned perfectly. My first bite brought me back to Jamaica. After my first time, 3 days later, I came back and tried the jerk salmon. Another perfect! I loved the Jamaican vibe, very chill and clean, with reggae music, and being served at the table, and having the food served on serving dishes and silverware. Quality 10/10. Flavors 10/10. Portion size 10/10. Cleanliness 10/10. Atmosphere 10/10. Each time I visited, the conversations with other customers all agreed how amazing the food is, like being in Jamaica. “It’s real deal jerk chicken! Perfectly marinated, seasoned and grilled Smokey flavor; crisp skin, tender and juicy. Escovich fish was also authentic: a whole fish freshly fried with tangy and spicy vinegar, onion and scotch bonnet sauce. The oxtails were a miss for me; a bit on the sweet side.“

“This is no longer the 1876 restaurant but is under new management. The sign says Taste Jamaica, and you can literally taste Jamaica in every single bite. We ordered the Brown Stew snapper (fish), Curry Goat and Jerk Chicken. I usually never order snapper, my own rule, because I don't want to be disappointed. I can't say how happy I was after tasting this fish. 100% Jamaican taste! Absolutely delicious! Rice n peas, curry goat and jerk were delicious. If you miss your food from yard, or you want something just like you had while on vacay in the island this is a must! Sorry, no photos. It was more important to eat!“

“This place really knows how to put together a great meal. The jerk chicken was one of my favorites—authentic, nicely seasoned, smoky, and spicy, with a generous portion that left me satisfied. Everything else we tried was tasty too, and the combination of flavors felt creative without being over the top. On top of the food, the service was excellent and made the whole visit even better.
