“During my visits here I have always been greeted/treated with amazing customer service by the girl working the front always very cheerful and helpful! I love this spot! My second time here and I ordered 1lb of the carnitas mix and a menudo. I love carnitas and this spot won my heart it's not easy finding good carnitas so I am happy to say that this is my go to spot. I get the mix which comes with the carnitas, cueritos, and buche packed with so much flavor. Just one bite of these carnitas and it brings a smile to your face! This visit I tried the menudo and it is amazing so much meat and no maíz which I prefer. Leave the Maíz for the pozole lol. While those are the only things I get from there they also have a great variety of options I have yet to try. 10/10 Carnitas estilo Michoacán“

“First time here after a concert at Sofi. Food truck opened late so we were able to grab late dinner. Great service. Since we were first time customer, they let us try their popular item. Not sure what is called but it's a fried corn tortilla with refried beans and meat. It was amazing! Their salsa is also spicy and delicious. We got birrira tacos, which was good, and the burrito is packed with refries beans and meat. I'm very picky when it comes to beans but these were my favorite. It's gooey and soft and perfectly seasoned. Would come again if I'm ever back in town.“

“My friend swore by the extra crispy tacos at this place--so you know I had to check it out. Ok so after reading the reviews, I didn't want to get the extra crispy because there were complaints about it not having enough filling. The cashier/waitress sort of confirmed this, indicating that there is more filling in the hard shell because there's more space to add more since it's not fried shut. So I ordered two salmon hard shell and one shrimp hard shell. The tacos were good, but not excellent. The shells weren't hard by any standards lol but they were bad. I didn't get sour cream or cheese, and they definitely needed some sauce. So I put that red salsa they have on it and it was so much better. Before the salsa, the tacos were a 7 out of 10 but after the salsa they were an 8.5. Next time, I'm DEFINITELY trying the extra crispy ones. I told my friend what happened and she doubled down on the crispy ones lol so I'll be back. The tortilla chips are fried on site--excellent. The green salsa needed some salt and cumin. Maybe some oregano too. The red salsa was fire--don't forget to ask for it!My belief is that a taco should be able to stand on its own without sauce. This means the filling has to be on point. If I could improve the shrimp and salmon tacos, I would add some smoked paprika to the seasoning on the shrimp ones and cook the a little longer. Also, I would cut the shrimp up instead of putting whole shrimp--it makes the tacos easier to eat. For the salmon, I would add a bit of spice, like cayenne, some garlic salt and add some cilantro to those tacos. The fries were real potatoes, but not crispy enough for me. Bae loved them so it's most likely just me.I wanted a salad, but apparently the dressing had pineapple in it--wth. If the changes above are made, I think this place could really hit. Also, add more vegan sauce options. Vegans like sauce too lol like vegan sour cream and vegan cheese. This only really matters if your vegan customer base supports this. The way Inglewood is headed though, might wanna make that change lol Lastly, the vibe is super cute. It's small but nice and homey. Loved it. Parking was easy on the street.“

Mi Mercadito Bakery •

“Your new fav Mexican joint & bakery. I ordered a steak & egg burrito with beans, rice, guac, and onions/cilantro - so fresh & made w love. The tortilla had a great flavor, everything was freshly prepared and it was PACKED w steak. For $9, #worth. I also got some super yummy pastries for cheap. The market also has fresh squeezed health juices, cakes, and a little grocery section. Only thing I wish they had was hot coffee for my pastry. But other than that, the staff was super sweet and happy to have us. Will recommend to everyone!“

“We have been searching for a good breakfast burrito close by (we are new to the area), and this place did not disappoint. We had a bacon breakfast burrito with beans and an agua de jamaica. The burritos are a really good price for the size, and the aguas were not overpriced like some places. I'm also picky about my beans, and this place had really good beans. Definitely will be coming back.“

“I used to own this little restaurant in the early 90s and of course there have been lots of changes. Gone is the ugly wallpaper from the 70s ? but I'm happy to see it still around. I still remember the high school kids who used to come behind the counter with me and order fries and cheeseburgers. A lot has changed in Inglewood but some things stay the same. I had chicken enchiladas but next time I'm trying the tacos. To this day I still run into my former customers!“
