“This food is so incredibly good. It actually plays a crucial part in me and my partners relationship.

During our time staying across the street in the summer of July 2025, we’d come for warped tour.

We found this truck by happy-stance and it started such a memorable tradition when we first met. We visited the truck almost every night for a late night meal.

The people work hard, are super kind , It’s a bang for your buck and it’s really good food!

“Bombest burrito in LA. He brings professional hospitality to the street taco game. First time I stopped by after a long early morning shift at a coffee cart and I was greeted as I walked up. He walked me through their offerings. I wanted to try their al pastor but was too hungry for a couple tacos so I ordered it as a burrito and man, amazingly tasty. He has a flat top grill and grills the burritos *chef's kiss. I'm all for street tacos of all kinds in LA but I'd venture to say this is the cleanest operation I've been to. He takes cash but also venmo or Zelle and has all that easily accessible. Ordered a carne asada burrito this evening and it's truly ministering to me“

“It’s 6:40 on a Saturday night and I’m alone in this taco shop. I can’t understand that. Maybe it’s a K-town secret.
The food has excellent flavor. I ordered the carne asada bowl. The crunchies in top are special. It’s delicious, but the steak is a little chewy. It’s a lot of food for a reasonable price. The red salsa is super tasty, but use caution with the yellow salsa. She’ll make you cry.
I’ll probably come back tomorrow and order the chicken.

“Delicious and fast tacos. The restaurant knows what they are doing. The lines moved so fast and I got me food within 5 minutes. They have complementary potatoes which is awesome since they help with the spicy of the spicy salsas. They also have a self serve salsa and topping bar which is my favorite so I can generously garnish and drench my tacos in salsas. We realized this was a really popular spot in this area because it was already 12 am and this place was still really packed. Really delicious and authentic tacos, will definitely come back again.“

“Even if not stopping on the way home, the charcoal aroma makes their asada of the best fills the street almost everyday providing comfort for us in the neighborhood. As many reviews mention the pastor, it is worth its weight in gold. I bounce back and forth getting each.

My only wish, alongside one review, is that they were on the spicier side... Definitely doesnt diminish the pure excellence of this place though and they're of the best. I'll be back soon and thank you for being in the neighborhood.“

“I am remodeling our home & my workers request that I go to Pepe's Tacos every time I decide to buy them lunch. It's easy to order with my iPhone & I ride my e-bike over to pick up the order(s) which are always ready by the time I get there. Everyone working there is always friendly & already know my name. “Solid consistent taco truck. Al pastor is my usual go to, they have it on a fire spit. All the toppings area serve yourself so you can dress it up how you like it. They are also very efficient and nice people! Avocado salsa and the orange spicier salsa are both killer.“

“This place was phenomenal. The staff and owner were so friendly and engaging. The food was top tier. I had the street tacos and Avocado rolls. The tacos were portioned really well and the shredded beef was flavorful. The Avocado rolls tasted so fresh and the roll was light and fluffy. I could eat the roll without any fillingb, thats how good it was. The sauce that came with it was good as well. The fresh juice was a winner as well. The customer service, price, portion size, and freshness of the ingredients makes this place 5 star. I will definitely visit again and recommend this place as 10 out of 10.“

“This has to be the best burrito I’ve had in SoCal. It’s a great concept to give the customer the open burrito to put in toppings of my choice and amount, then give it back for the employees to perfectly wrap up.

I got the asada and tripa burrito as well as an al pastor and pineapple mulita. All of it was cooked perfectly and with large portion sizes and great prices.

I will happily make the hour trip just to stop here again. This place should get an award.“

“You can never go wrong bringing a friend from out of town here at Upper West, joining family members to celebrate or just coming over to have a really tasty and good quality healthy meal! The owners greet guests, servers are attentive and the food is amazing! We come here often and love the appetizers from the chopped salad, to the crunchy rice tuna and cauliflower, to their main staples steak tacos, their seabass and short ribs! I can’t say enough how incredibly delicious this restaurant was. I called my friend, Dan R (Legendary, Venice, Photographer, and the world ) for a recommendation on some delicious Mexican food. He laughed and said Tacomiando (why he was laughing just delivered him food from the restaurant… he said this is definitely the best in the area and he was not mistaken. This food from the cleanliness of the restaurant to how nice and helpful the staff was I always judge a restaurant on their chips. As well, I can honestly say these chips were incredible along with everything I’ve tried. I almost forgot to mention they’re incredible salsa bar. Hope you can see in the photo, but it was quite extensive. ✨🤩😍

“Beef, chicken, and shrimp. ALL AMAZING. Made on the spot. Right by the beach. Master gave me 3 options of hot sauce - I was able to endure the pain of the spiciest one which wasn’t too bad. “One of the BEST tacos in L.A.! The alpastor and chicken tacos are SO GOOD! I had to go back and order two more of each one! They offer tacos, tortas, mulitas, and burritos! Their salsa is what really wraps up the tacos! 🔥 very spicy and flavorful! The meat was so tender, juicy and full of flavor. I had their agua fresca de Jamaica 🌸 and it was very good! They have a table and stools where you can sit and enjoy your food there. Highly recommend! 10/10“
