Based on the reviews, Leonor’s Mexican Vegetarian Restaurant is a hidden gem with a huge menu. The food is some of the favorite vegan/vegetarian in LA. The enchiladas were so good a guest had to double check they were vegan. The mother lode is a go-to meal, and the 4 potato tacos are only available on Tuesdays. The vegan Horchata is delicious. The best vegan pizza in Los Angeles is also mentioned, with the Monday Special being a great deal. The staff is great and unbelievably kind and accommodating. However, some reviews noted the food was okay but not very flavorful, and do not recommend the pizzas or the vegan cookies, which were hard and too dry. The NOHO location was one of River Phoenix’s favorite spots.
