“Hidden gem! Fresh food, huge portions, good prices. Self serve chips and salsa bar. 7 of us came after a Franklin Canyon hike. Everyone was satisfied. The breakfast burritos and meat burritos were a huge hit. French toast was mid but the pancakes looked pretty. Fresh squeezed orange juice was perfect! Plentiful free parking. Clean and organized. Very dependable Mom and Pop spot, worth supporting!“

“Far too packed inside, makes for an extraordinarily loud and less than pleasant dinning experience. Better to eat on the patio, not on the street. The food portions are a little lackluster but the options are expensive. Get water and your drink for there are too few servers to attend to timely refills. This is the type of place you would expect to have carafes of juice and personal pots of coffee but nah, cant be bothered. Cocktails are whats on one of the two menus, so that accounts for part of the noise, too.“

And the service was amazing, the atmosphere was great, and the food was DELICIOUS!! I went for brunch btw. I'll be going for dinner next time. But their brunch was AMAZING! I ordered the Steak&Eggs dish and literally cleaned the whole plate. I mean, it was sooo good. And they bring your food out quick too. The only downside is the parking. There's 2 hour parking meters on the street. And there's 2 hour residential parking as well. But there's a lot of signs in the residential area, so I wouldn't risk parking there if I were you. HOWEVER, there is a small parking structure on the next block over. And it's a $10 flat rate. And that parking structure closes at 8pm or 8:30pm (just a heads up). But again, it is a small parking structure. So it gets full quickly. Luckily it wasn't full when I parked there. But other than the parking, this restaurant is amazing. 10 out of 10!!! “I work very close by and would say this is one of the better lunch options in the area for me. Everything is always consistently ready very fast and it’s always tasty. There is a small free parking lot right out front, otherwise free street parking is also easy to find. Inside is large enough to dine in, but I always get it to go. They do have a pretty large menu with a lot of great options on it and I love that they have smoothies and drinks as well as food items.

I have tried a few different things here, but this past order I got the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and added avocado and honestly really liked it. The ciabatta bread was crispy and the the chicken was perfectly spicy and I just really enjoyed it. The dressing on the side salad was also terrific. I would recommend if you are in the area.“

“I had such a wonderful breakfast here. Everything was cooked perfectly and served hot. The avocado omelet was especially delicious, and the hash browns had the ideal golden crisp to them.

The pancakes were light and fluffy, and having the syrup served on the side kept everything tidy. It is rare to find a spot that pays such close attention to the small details. I am already looking forward to my next visit.“

We had omelettes and a side of links, and the omelettes came with a house-made salsa that was divine. He also had a small order of biscuits and gravy which he adored. The whole ambiance is iconic American diner. I wish I could import the whole place and team over to Germany to show my fellow countrymen what American cuisine and warmth tastes and feels like. “If you like Breakfast Burritos you have to try these out. I got the Chilaquiles one and a couple salsa rojas to boot (Go Doyers). Fantastic. I usually resort to convenience and either get the small basic ones at Jack's or Mickey D's on my way to work. Those are easier to manage due to their smaller size, but it's always a Compromise. Not with these. I would eat this for dinner it's so good. That said, they might want to think about adding Small, Medium, and I'm Hungry sizes because there was no way I was going to drive and enjoy this food. Had to chill and enjoy it making me a little later to work but totally worth it. I will be back.“
