Positive atmosphere inside, and some outside seating. Overall a very enjoyable vibe. Coffee/Pastry: You. Must. Try. Everything. If you have questions don't hesitate to ask. The obvious question: Is it better than Starbucks? Oh yeah! If you're in the area this is a must stop for coffee lovers.“
“Love this place. Cute, peachy and family owned. Great people and service. Prices were great too. Street parking can be tough but you can place an order online for a quick pick-up. I got an iced coffee, some toasts and a smoothie. I loved EVERYTHING! Menu is small but everything on there is great - just how I like it. So happy this local gem is a part of my neighborhood! Also happy to hear they're opening more locations so other can try their peachy deliciousness soon!! :-)“

“Came in this Saturday morning and got treated with some amazing customer service from the staff. We were recommended by our barista to try their home Laurel latte. 10/10! It was great. Slightly strong, but very good. The places ambiance was aesthetically pleasing and room to even study or for some banter with friends. Definitely coming back!“

“My go to smoothie and smoothie bowl place! They make their smoothies with fresh vegetables and fruits (no added sugar or juices). They also have lots of unique and healthy options to choose from. Even their food is delicious! My favorite is the turkey avocado panini. Additionally, they have freshly made and refrigerated shots each for a different purpose such as detox, wheatgrass, turmeric, collagen, etc. I highly recommend this place I’ve never had a bad experience, always a quick and healthy option for a morning or mid afternoon boost!“
“Ordered a beef chorizo burrito with a mocha and a matcha, all were incredibly delicious but that's not whats ultimately keeping me coming back. The service here at this Civil is top notch. Mickey, Mateo and Mark were incredibly patient, they gave excellent recommendations and their vibe elevated my day. Not everyday day is a good day, but leaving this place this morning made my day so much better.“

“Philz (and my mother-in-law) have taught me that pour-over coffee (look it up) is one of the best (and easiest!) brewing methods for consistently great coffee. Fortunately Philz sells some of the best beans around, roasted fresh and (somewhat) locally (Oakland, CA), making it easy to make great coffee at home. Or you can just come here and have them make you an exceptional coffee. I've been to many Philz stores and they are all great, warm and welcoming. “Tried this store randomly because I needed a pick-me-up during work (I used to work across the street). I got a cookie and a mocha. Everything was good, but nothing significant about the flavor. I only went to the Laundry Bar out of convenience really. They primarily offer laundry services, but also coffee and snacks, which is unique! The plaza itself is chill, the Laundry Bar offers limited seating. Cute place.“
“I didn't have a great experience during my first visit, simply due to a drink issue with the iced vanilla latte.I decided to give Alfred another try and yes, this place is so 100% worth it. The vanilla latte is definitely the best I've had in LA. Great coffee paired with slightly sweet but super flavorful and strong vanilla that blends so well with the coffee. It's still refreshing without being overpowering. I'll definitely return for this over and over again“
“One time I had a bad experience at Peet's Coffee in Tarzana didn't step foot in a Peet's coffee for over 10 years. I recently received a gift card and decided to give them another shot. This location is amazing both in service and the quality of the coffee. I've been a couple times since and there is always a place to sit and enjoy your coffee. Shout out to the staff for always making me feel welcomed and greeting me with a smile.“
“Not sure why the incredibly high reviews. I would do 3.5 if I could but the atmosphere was really nice so bumped it up. It’s a cozy cafe in a cute area, seating is great. Food was fine— not super expensive, but for what it was, a little more costly than I’d prefer. Definitely not memorable, but tasted fine; cappuccino was meh. However, I’d come back just for the vibes since it’s a good place to catch up with friends etc. and I’d be interested to try a different menu item!“
