After the third-party member picked up the order and did not deliver for almost three hours, I requested a refund for the melted ice cream which I received promptly. I certainly did not expect to see this a couple of hours later: a refund for the entire purchase...thank you Vons for going above and beyond with your customer service!“

“My Mother’s Day (party day) order included 5 dozen mini cupcakes, 2 cakes, and some whoopie pies! I got home and realized my order was missing a dozen red velvet cupcakes. I called the studio city location for a refund on those since I had no time to go back to the bakery before the party (please open a location in Santa Clarita @susiesarich 😂). Instead, they same day delivered my cupcakes PLUS sent additional cookies and Mother’s Day treats for no additional cost to me😭❤️ I was SO amazed by the gracious customer service. They use whole grain flour and amazing butter quality, the flakiness is insane even on the cinnamon roll which Im usually not a fan of and I think that I might go back just for that!! “I needed a little European fix today, so I decided to visit Des Croissants Paris. First of all I just finished devouring 4 pastries that were in incredibly delicious!!! Top ingredients straight from France! But what made my visit an outstanding experience, was how lovely and gracious the staff was including the owner. We chatted about Spain and had one of those moments of community that are so rare in this city. I highly recommend this slice of French heaven in the middle of Culver City“

“Busy on the weekends and mornings so recommend coming here on a weekday. We came here during Wednesday for dinner and did not have to wait. They were out of the chicken rice but had everything else. You order at the front and then get a seat. They don’t do reservations so best to come with a small group of 2-3. Highlights on the menu for us we’re the French Toast and Pork Belly Rice. The French Toast was sweet with a crispy outside and fluffy inside. Overall, great place with good prices and would come back!“

“Come here for the pie! While the cookies we tried were a bit lackluster, the pie was phenomenal. In particular, the passion fruit-tangerine pie amazed—its silken texture and perfectly tuned tartness were a pleasure. The crust was thin and tasty, yet sturdy enough for the slice to be finger food.“

“I’ve been coming here for almost five years. Their ham and cheese croissant used to be one of the best in LA with perfectly laminated dough, thick ham, and plenty of cheese. The shell was a bit dense and heavier than other bakeries, but that’s actually why I enjoyed it. It had a unique texture and feel.

Sadly, the quality has declined a lot in recent years. The croissant is now much smaller, dry, and skimpy on fillings. Today it honestly tasted like an airport croissant.

Coffee, Swedish buns, and other food are still great, and the staff are always kind. But the shop often seems understaffed and the dining area is not as clean as before. I still want to support them, but the overall experience no longer feels as special as it once did.“

“Oh my goodness! This place was such a beautiful find. I absolutely loved all the options they had for gluten-free and dairy free. I got the lemon cake and two of the sprinkle cookies to bring home to me and my family. The bread options are amazing for gluten-free as well. I ended up getting their chorizo and egg for breakfast. Absolutely amazing food. On the side I got tater tots, they were crunchy and very tasty. Not greasy, which is hard to do when you fry something. We sat in the back where the wine area is because it was really hot that day so the ambience in that little area was very quirky and eclectic. It’s a very comforting delicious place to go visit if you’re hankering for some gluten-free, dairy free pastries. Did I mention the entire place is vegan!“
