“I usually order cakes a few days ahead from this place but this time it was a last minute thing. Walked in and was greeted by a very kind woman whose name tag said she was in training. She was a joy! Made my day. I always alternate between the coconut and red velvet and they’ve consistently been outstanding for years. 10/10“
“Tasha did an amazing job on my sons first birthday cake and cupcakes. They came out exactly how I wanted and tasted even better. Everyone LOVED the cake. I will definitely be using her in the future and highly recommend. she even packaged everything tightly and neatly so it wouldn't get damaged in transit. overall I was very pleased with everything. “What I love about Le Pain is that it consistently offers good food, meeting my expectations, and sometimes exceeding it. Its setting reminds me of cafes in France, with just the right ambience. And the bakery section adds such a lovely touch. I like that it offers both indoor and outdoor dining.And though there’s the option to valet, it’s usually easy to find parking on the street.“
“Perfect execution. Picked up monster of a cake for my niecelet's birthday without a hitch. The nice ladies at the store packed it up nicely and quick to help. Parking is awful, but that's to be expected in that part of town...on Sunday, on St. Patrick's day... I digress. The cake was f'n delicious.“

“Its a beautiful cosy place, takes you back in time. The cakes, as you can see in the video look delicious (didn't try one though).We had the lemon pancakes which were AMAZING, also the breakfast burrito which was really delicious as well and very filling. Their coffees were also flavourful and strong.Lastly, salmon with potato pancakes..which I personally didn't really like.. they had a funny taste.. quite soggy.. something about the salmon? Or the eggs? I didn't understand but unfortunately has a weird and not good taste.“
“Came back to Ocean Park Blvd to try this place and it did not disappoint! We ended up getting the Gravlax Works (on everything bagel) and an Onion bagel with jalapeño cream cheese, to compare to Layla Bagels next door. Overall really delicious - the gravlax works was perfect and light, the salmon was amazing - perfect flavors! I definitely prefer this one a bit more. And for the other bagel, the jalapeño cream cheese was a nice touch ,though when comparing to the basic bagel we got from Layla's, the schmear was a little less flavored. The line moved quickly and the workers were all nice! Can't wait to come back to try the pastries and also grab a loaf or two to go!! :) *Note that Jyan Isaac Bread and Layla Bagels seem pretty strict on their outdoor seating, reserving the seats in front of their restaurants for customers only. The manager here came out a handful of times to ask Layla customers to leave!“
“Kind of hidden away in the slightly shady feeling streets south of Hollywood Blvd is this gorgeous cafe/restaurant.If the weather's nice try to get a table outside, otherwise inside is just lovely.Apart from the awesome breads, the salads and sandwiches are amazing. Try the grains bowl for something filling, healthy and delicious! The service is super friendly and intrusive, just the way it should be.Highly recommended.“
“My FAVORITE place to go for breakfast!! The brekafast sandwich on a crossint is my absolute favorite!! Never a time where I will go there without getting one. The house made sauce in it is SO delicious. There are no words. MUST TRY. Everything is delicious, you can't go wrong with anything they have. Love the bakery and love the friendly staff.“
