After the third-party member picked up the order and did not deliver for almost three hours, I requested a refund for the melted ice cream which I received promptly. I certainly did not expect to see this a couple of hours later: a refund for the entire purchase...thank you Vons for going above and beyond with your customer service!“

“My Mother’s Day (party day) order included 5 dozen mini cupcakes, 2 cakes, and some whoopie pies! I got home and realized my order was missing a dozen red velvet cupcakes. I called the studio city location for a refund on those since I had no time to go back to the bakery before the party (please open a location in Santa Clarita @susiesarich 😂). Instead, they same day delivered my cupcakes PLUS sent additional cookies and Mother’s Day treats for no additional cost to me😭❤️ I was SO amazed by the gracious customer service. “Absolutely loved this place! The cinnamon rolls are outstanding — perfectly soft, buttery, and not overly sweet. The scones are excellent as well, and the cookies are honestly some of the best I’ve had in a long time.

What really makes the experience even better is the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely kind.

“House of Bread is great. They have fresh, made daily bread of all types as well as pastry items. It is all good. They even have vegan items.

The service at House of Bread is just wonderful. The small staff gets the job done and the know what they have and what is the best. They make the most tasty banana bread. You can get it vegan or not. Both are great. I prefer the regular banana bread because I like butter on mine.

The place is super cute, very clean and you will smell bread when you walk in. they have some of the best pastries. They are all great. Their Persian bread is the best.

The place is small so be on the lookout or you will miss it.

“i was in need of a tres lèches cake and because this place had such good reviews on it i decided to try it out. they don’t let you place pre orders over the phone and require you to come in. i thought that was a little frustrating but then i realized it’s because when you pre order they require you to either pay half of it or pay in full right away.

i ordered the cake for the next day and they were able to do it which was extremely helpful. the cake was very delicious so i can totally see why people like it so much. i paid about 55 for an 8-inch round tres leches cake

the only downside (which i had seen in other reviews) is in the 30 minutes it took for me to get home from the bakery, the cake had leaked a lot of milk and leaked onto my car seat. later in the day, when we were taking the cake out of the box to put on a a plate, the cake had shifted a little, messing up the frosting and the spilled milk had completely soaked the box making it extremely difficult to get the cake out. the little cardboard piece the cake sits on was soaked so trying to separate that piece with the cardboard box too was very hard. thankfully, this wasn’t a fancy super intricate cake so i wasn’t that frustrated but i can totally understand why this factor is a huge negative for people“

“edit: i really love this place. the first time i went to it was magical. if there was a place i could go to for every birthday or celebration it would be this one!! going into the crazy koreatown traffic is worth the journey for this place. the aesthetic is so cozy and i hope many other people enjoy this place. upon entering you smell the sweet aroma of all the pastries

They were very small, but the price was outrageously expensive at $8 compared to other donuts. I tried it once, but I wouldn't pay $8 for it again, even though it tasted good.
