“So I was looking for homemade baklava while living in Florida. I some how and I forgot how honestly stumbled upon this dudes website for amazing baklava.

I was like hmmm how amazing can this be? So I said whatever and ordered it just to try it. Well within 2 days I received a package. I said that's weird? I opened it up and it was a very nice orange box with a bow.

I said to myself, either I'm the king of England or this dude is definitely trying to keep my business. I opened the box and it was cute. Had a post card which was his business card/marketing. The baklava was underneath.

I picked one up which was round shaped and cute. I then bit it. I saw heaven !!! Amazing !!!!! Not too sweet. Not dry. Very very creamy and delicious. Apparently I've been missing out in life.

Anyway, I then did a little Research and learned the guy is from the Middle East and had this recipe from his family for generations.

Anyway, my job is to do the review your job is to make the decision for yourself to buy and try!!!!

I called the studio city location for a refund on those since I had no time to go back to the bakery before the party (please open a location in Santa Clarita @susiesarich 😂). Instead, they same day delivered my cupcakes PLUS sent additional cookies and Mother’s Day treats for no additional cost to me😭❤️ I was SO amazed by the gracious customer service. “This place is INCREDIBLE. Their croissants are out of this world! My absolute favorite things to get here are the kouign-amann and today I had the absolute best cinnamon roll I've ever tasted! I swear it was life changing! It was so buttery and gooey inside yet crispy on the outside. I also had a pistachio lemon croissant which was just fantastic! Not as life changing as the cinnamon roll but still wonderful.

This place gets BUSY and sells out so try to get there early because the word is out. On the weekends there's always a line out the door onto the sidewalk, but I assure you, it's worth the wait!

“I needed a little European fix today, so I decided to visit Des Croissants Paris. First of all I just finished devouring 4 pastries that were in incredibly delicious!!! Top ingredients straight from France! But what made my visit an outstanding experience, was how lovely and gracious the staff was including the owner. “MIGHT BE THE BEST PIE I’VE EVER TRIED 🥧⭐

This was my first time trying key lime pie bc I usually don’t like lime unless it’s in a drink. BUT OH WOW I’ve been missing out!!!

The key lime pie was SO good. I love sour flavors, and I think the filling had the perfect balance of sweet and tangy. It might be a little too sour if you eat the lime filling by itself, but with the cream and crust together?? BOMB!!

I also tried the banana cream pie and really liked it! It tasted just like banana pudding. I think it would be even better with a crust like the one on the key lime pie, if that’s possible!

The service was great, the restroom was clean, and the place was super cute too.

It looked like he was the shift lead, but everyone working there was doing an excellent job and getting through the customers quickly! Johnny was super wonderful and wrote a specialized note for the cake. I also got an iced latte and they have the best coffee there ever!! Like every coffee drink I've gotten from there is soooo good.“

“Lee’s cafe is a Taiwanese-style cafe with a hint of Hong Kong sparkle, serving the perfect mix of Taiwanese and Hong Kong food. The toast is absolutely marvelous, and I truly believe it is worth every penny. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for the other dishes. The sesame cold noodles were good, but missing something—I felt they didn’t quite hit the mark. The wontons were delicious, but the braised pork belly rice was your typical run-of-the-mill rice. Nothing terribly special, but delicious nonetheless. The HK milk tea, however, leaned very watery and missed the signature strong tea taste of a HK milk tea.
Also, their bathroom sink was broken and put as a “use at your own risk”. Hopefully they have fixed this since my visit!
Yet, through all this, I would still return to Liu’s kitchen—for their toast!“

“This is my go-to neighborhood bakery now. Living within short walking distance means I come here every week. I've tried every pastry by now and each one is excellent. They often add new seasonal pastries, most recently a strawberry danish topped with creamy frosting and filled with house-made jam; easily the best vegan pastry I've ever had. Their freshly baked breads are almost all vegan, most of their cakes are vegan, they have vegan sandwiches, and all of their café drinks can be vegan with plenty of plant milks available. Many of these are gluten free as well for those concerned about that, and always clearly marked. These are NOT pastries for crunchy health-food types, they are incredible and indulgent vegan versions of the same croissants, pan au chocolat, scones, cookies, muffins, etc you'd get in any European style bakery. It's a great place to go with omni friends and family because the vegan options are just as good as the nonvegan ones. The place has a really cozy neighborhood type feeling, drawing regulars from the area including families and plenty of cute dogs, and the staff and owners are all super friendly. My omni fiancé and I are having them make our wedding cake! Pro tip 1: go before closing from 2:30-3:00 Monday-Thursday for 30% off everything. Pro tip 2: their day-old breads are half off, which makes their breads a total steal.
