“Classic Street Taco stand. Al pastor on a spit, asada, cabeza, lengua and tripas. You can also get your choice of meat over a baked potato. Good is generally tasty, although I thought the pastor was a little oversalted on my visit last night.“

“It's all about the food! Had a couple of tacos- quesobirria and barbacoa- and was instantly transported back 60 years to having dinners at Tia Huerta's house. Simple and properly done. I'll be back when I'm in the area.
Parking: Large dedicated lot for the restaurant. More than enough spaces for available seating.
Wheelchair accessibility: No problem with accessibility. Flat and level from the parking to the restaurant. Restrooms are large and easily accessed.“

“The quality and size of the burgers improved dramatically! The delivery lady was very polite and respectful and humble in answering my questions regarding how she was paid. I didn't see the tips on the screen until later and I wanted to be sure she was paid fairly. Food much better than remembered, service was great!“

“This is one of my first true loves as far as tacos go. My favorite al pastor in LA by a long shot. They handmake and press their own corn tortillas right in front of you. IMO the queso tacos are the highlight — pair that with the al pastor and the pineapple and you will also fall in love.
Aside from the pastor, all of their meat options will do you justice — I particularly like the cabesa, but be careful pairing the rich & fatty meats with the queso taco — it can be fatty overload if you have one too many.
Angel’s potato is extremely slept on.
Parking: There’s a parking lot directly behind the taco stand where everyone parks“

“Good place for tacos ?, especially love their lengua tacos--the meat is a big slice of tongue instead of diced up. This shop is open late so good for folks that have late meals. They are also located next to a parking lot so no problem finding parking. Would definitely visit again and recommend to others.“

“A little hole in the wall place. We really like the bean & cheese , beef & bean and the green chili & bean burritos . They are all deep fried and oh so good . They do have a full menu. The only downside is that seating is outside and no shade.“

“After going to the movies in Monrovia with my family, we were hungry and wanted a fast and tasty lunch. We stumbled upon Tacos & Papas, a Mexican restaurant. Unsure of what to order, we decided on my favorite: chicken and asada tacos, rice, and beans. My husband chose the chicken tostada plate. We also got some horchata and lemonade to go with our meal. We were lucky to find a table before the seating filled up. The service was friendly, and we didn't have to wait long for our food. The tacos were good, and I especially liked the Mexican-style rice. It's a good place for a quick Mexican meal.
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, wide front door for a Wheelchair and walkers.“

“This food truck became one of my favorite spots for the last three weeks but today all 3 of my Adobada tacos were mostly fat :-( I gonna comeback but if my tacos are all fat again so it will be time to look for another place and give you One star.“

“Late night tacos just really hit the spot. One of the best taco trucks in the area, cash only but it is super value. The two bite tacos nourish the soul. 6 types of meat and only $2.75 a taco. Service is super quick and they taste amazing. Always a line up because people know that this is the place for taco truck tacos.“

“I can't say enough good things about Teddy's. We met Teddy at the counter and his mother came out from the kitchen to greet us. Everything we had was the freshest ingredients of the highest quality. It's a homey neighborhood joint and the food was just delicious. And Teddy's mother is a sweetheart.
Vegetarian options: The vegan tacos are outrageous“

“I lived in Boyle Heights for like my entire life and I finally came across this place and honestly WOW!
I ordered the chilaquiles (GREEN ALL THE WAY! ) and I also got a pink ice latte. This joint didn’t disappoint, I wanted to share this place because it deserves the recognition if you guys wanna check out my Tik tok: @nathalysplanet <333
I came back again with my sister and we got the same thing and it hit the spot! Gonna bring all the girlies to this joint ???????“

“When I worked in downtown, our office would often order lunch from the now closed 6th Street location but I had eaten at and still do check out the still open food court spot at 7th and Fig. The one nice thing about that particular location is the option to eat in the courtyard. But the interior food court is clean, well-laid out and pleasant enough for lunch.
The food is uniformly good and prepared to order. A much better spot than any Chipotle.
Vegetarian options: Limited as with most places that cater to meat eaters but plenty for your vegetarian in a group. However, there are better options for the single or small group (2-3 people).
Dietary restrictions: They prepare to order so easy to ask them to minimize spice or cilantro or otherwise handle the simple stuff.
Parking: While not a destination, for people visiting the convention center or former Staples arena, who want to grab a bite AND avoid the overpriced tourist traps at LA Live, this is a good option.
Kid-friendliness: Very
Wheelchair accessibility: Very, although elevator is slow and for people with walkers or canes, the escalators have been down of late.“
“Definitely a place to try out with a significant other or with your family. They stack the food with meat. They have various meats and a variety of foods to try.The workers are so friendly and respectful. They’ll definitely see me more often.“

“Our new go-to spot. Recommend The wet burrito with asada and chorizo its fire! No really that green sauce is spicy! The cabeza and asada meats are really good here and the asada is real asada ,not that weird chopped up meat other spots be selling as asada. Prices are good and the comida doesn't disappoint. We haven't tried anything bad here yet. The frijoles are tasty as fuhhh, you can always tell a good spot by their frijoles and the bean and cheese burros are pretty damn good. Good service too! They stay busy here. They close at 630pm daily and they are closed on mondays.... man o man I think ima go hit up El taco man right now!“
“Tacos go craaaaaaazy. I fear, once you go vapor tacos you never go back.
Hands down some of the best tacos I’ve ever had.
The meat was cooked to perfection and chopped up very well.
The salsa bar fire ? cucumbers, limes, radish
Loved both green and red which is rare. Usually green salsa is superior but here you’re left drenching both.
Coming back for sure

“This is the proverbial window restaurant. Hole in the wall. I had breakfast burritos there (chorizo) and they were delicious! The sauces are spicy, so be careful how much you use.
Parking: This is a hole in the wall. The hood of your car is your table.“
“I love this place. The food is delish, made with care in their little pop up tent & the prices can't be beat so it's easy to leave them a great tip, which they totally deserve. The pastor & asada are both so excellent that i always want them & haven't tried anything else I like things spicy & they don't scrimp on the heat.??“

“This is one of my favorite taco truck! They serve delicious food at reasonable prices. A hidden gem parked near LA Fitness and CVS on Naomi. They’re open from Tuesdays to Sundays.
I like to order the carne asada tacos, but I also enjoy their nachos, mulitas, and quesadilla. The meat is always tender and flavorful, and their grilled onions are a favorite of mine. They also include freshly sliced cucumbers and radishes on the side. The Rojas sauce is my top pick for its bold flavor and heat, though the Avocado and Verde sauces are excellent too.
Anthony offers wonderful service—super friendly, kind, and always nice to chat with!“

“These tacos were recommended and Should I say I am thankful I took the recommendation. The Al pastor tacos were delicious. Suadero tacos are good as well. The cabeza tacos are not bad at all. I need to try the rest. I will be back. Prices are very decent especially for the food you pay for. I strongly suggest these tacos.“

“Will definitely come back here.
I had the nachos - with half cabeza (cooked perfectly) and half al pastor (nice slight spice to it). The burritos and tacos also looked amazing, will try next time.
The customer service was great. They made sure i had enough salsa and sides of pickled onions/carrots.
They have a parking lot and plenty of street parking.“

“The best tacos/burritos In NELA!! Might not be the most flashy spot but the flavor is out of this world. After every spot I've tried(out of state and country) this is by far the only place I HAVE to return to. The staff are all nice, courteous and lovely people and their portions are always a hook up too. Their salsas are a must if you're having their burritos as you have to dunk them in it for the full on experience. And for the homies traveling from far don't trip there's a dispensary 30 ft away and it's located in a hot spot for bar hopping if you're tryna enjoy this side of town. For the tourist and out of towners it might interest yall that Billie Eilish lives around the corner from here since that's a selling point for y'all. Don't forget to tip!“
