“I have been looking for a taco spot near where I live (Old Town Pasadena) that is actually good. Let me tell you I moved here over a year ago and was disappointed every single time I tried a taco in Pasadena. Then I found this place today and man this is my go to spot moving forward! The suadero burrito was a 10/10! Mulitas de carne asada 10/10. The carne asada had such great flavor. Can’t wait to bring everyone here!“

“Classic Street Taco stand. Al pastor on a spit, asada, cabeza, lengua and tripas. You can also get your choice of meat over a baked potato. Good is generally tasty, although I thought the pastor was a little oversalted on my visit last night.“

“Tacos Dos Pillo in Altadena is one of my favorite spots! I come here at least once a week, and the food is always fresh, delicious, and full of flavor.

This time I ordered an asada burrito, two orders of potato tacos, an order of fish tacos, and a Jarritos everything was excellent. The asada was flavorful, the potato tacos were perfectly crispy, and the fish tacos were delicious.

The chefs here do an amazing job, and you can tell they take pride in the food they make. The quality is always consistent, which is why I keep coming back week after week.

Not your regular everywhere tacos. These tacos were homemade recipes. I had the carne asada, pork with potato (puerco con papa) & beans with cactus (frijoles con nopal). It's a week later that I tried these tacos and I can't stop talking about them. My favorite was the beans with cactus. Soooo good. Also, the atmosphere was just so nice and lively. “This place was phenomenal. The staff and owner were so friendly and engaging. The food was top tier. I had the street tacos and Avocado rolls. The tacos were portioned really well and the shredded beef was flavorful. The Avocado rolls tasted so fresh and the roll was light and fluffy. I could eat the roll without any fillingb, thats how good it was. The sauce that came with it was good as well. The fresh juice was a winner as well. The customer service, price, portion size, and freshness of the ingredients makes this place 5 star. I will definitely visit again and recommend this place as 10 out of 10.“

“Dude, I’m really impressed with this little spot. The food is flavorful, fresh, and not greasy, and the gentlemen working here are kind Sinaloenses who are easy to talk to. Authentic Mexican food without the fluff. The tacos are fairly priced and GOOD, the gringa is insane if that’s your thing.

If you’re looking for something a bit lighter, I highly recommend the bowl. The flavors are spot on, the portions are generous (easily enough for two meals), and it’s hearty without being heavy.

“I visited Tacos Tumbras a Tomas at Grand Central Market in Downtown Los Angeles.

I ordered the carnitas tacos, which are one of their specialties.
The pork was flavorful and tender, and the portion was surprisingly large.
They also asked whether I wanted the salsa spicy or mild, which was nice because I could choose it based on my preference.

The amount of meat was so generous that one order was more than enough to fill me up.
They also provide extra tortillas, so you can make additional tacos with the generous amount of meat.

The tacos were delicious, filling, and reasonably priced. I was especially impressed by the portion size for the price.

The stand has been serving Michoacan-style carnitas at Grand Central Market for many years, and it’s easy to see why it has remained popular.

If you’re visiting Grand Central Market and want to try a hearty and affordable Mexican meal, I definitely recommend stopping by!“

“Very comfortable place to be in. Everyone was relaxed and you could hear the staff in the kitchen communicating getting the orders out. They have good lighting, a larger modern menu board with a great selection. They had light hearted music playing and a big tv to watch the Dodger games. I was surprised to see Birria on the menu so had to get that for sure! I think I will may this my goto spot a couple days a week so I can eat better for less and no dishes to wash.“

“AMAZING. Literally some of the best tacos ever. I genuinely don’t understand the bad reviews. I recently moved farther away and I STILL come back every Tuesday for Taco Tuesday. That should tell you everything.

The prices are so cheap, especially on Tuesdays, and the portions are HUGE. They give you so much meat that the tacos need two tortillas just to survive. And they’re consistently delicious every single time.

BUT THE SAUCE??? OMG. I always say sauce is EVERYTHING, and their sauce is actually heaven. I always get the green sauce with guac and it is SO. FREAKING. GOOD. I could probably drink the green sauce by itself. Whoever makes that sauce deserves a raise, a vacation, and my eternal gratitude.
