“After nearly 35 years since my last double-double, I ordered one with a side of fries, and they both were pretty fantastic! Tastes like nostalgia. The burger was simple, with grilled onions and the fresh lettuce and tomato I've always liked. Beefy, drippy, cheezy, what a wonderful mess! Not too big, not too small, and served up with a smile, and cheap, too, at less than $20 for two burgers, fries and drinks . It won't be 35 years til my next. We found outdoor seating next to the drive thru line. Parking is challenging sometimes, and the drive-thru line can trail out into the street at peak times, so plan your visits wisely.Parking: Parking can be pretty crappy during peak times, too.“
“In n Out jas had this long standing of good food, reasonably priced that is serves quickly. And they still stand by it. Never been to one that didn't stand by this. Had a late night burger here and although there was about 12 cats ahead of us we were only there dir what seemed like 10 mins from arrival to departure. Service with a smile as always.“
“Went to the store on gale and 7th st. Hardly any line when I pulled up. Service was great. Personal was excellent. Always making sure we had everything I needed for the order. #1 customer service. I usually go to store #7 on amar ave. but the lines were down amar and overflowed onto hacienda Blvd. Too long!Vegetarian options: A few varieties to choose from for vegan.Didn't know they started selling chicken sandwiches???????Dietary restrictions: They make it the way you want, no questions!Parking: Being on a corner lot next to the 60 freeway offramp for 7th and gake ave. There is parking on side and behind store. Ample seating that is covered for shade rain or shine. Akso there are a few parking slots at the end of drive thru by the exit.Kid-friendliness: They do have a few things to ask for kids meals. Always ask for the coloring packages for young children. Not the teenagers.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking available. Just be careful when you go to order at window there is a pitch if your in a wheelchair so remember to set your brake. Also drive thrust are on both sides of the order window with regular traffic behind you when ordering.“
“I recently ordered from Lazy Dog in West Covina, California, through DoorDash, and it was an exceptional experience. Gabe, the manager, was fantastic – genuine, and kind. The food delivered by DoorDash was equally fantastic, leaving me thoroughly satisfied. Thank you so much for the delightful experience! Consider this an invitation to indulge in great food and warm hospitality, whether in-store or through DoorDash.“
“The staff is friendly and they make the best burgers. They do take substitutions request. Vegetarian friendly. Out door seating, so dog friendly.Vegetarian options: They offer a vegetarian burger patty.Parking: The parking lot is tiny, but there is plenty of street parking available around lunchtime.“
“Big upps to Mr. Hart. I really enjoyed the number 3, crispy chicken sandwich. The service was on point, the music, yes!!! The fries were good and hot and they gave me a nice portion!!Congratulations on this Monrovia Location. I'll be back with some of my buddies.“
“We didn't expect too much, but based on the recommendations we hoped for better. Cold, unkempt place with zero atmosphere unless you like bins, that is. Went for a chili cheeseburger. The windows looked out like a dank mess of food that napkins had become nested in a bun. I feel guilty about those who claimed it was the best in La At least it was inexpensive“
“The food is delicious! And the service is great! The cashier was kind and patient with all my questions. It was my first time having Peruvian food and it was delicious! I definitely would go back! There is a parking lot and they do take card. Only ordered a few things but can’t wait to go back and try more of their dishes.“
“One of our favorite lunch spots..for something fast and delicious! We usually order the chicken sandwich..or pastrami burger! I love lettuce and they never disappoint with the amount they add it just gives a nice crunch to the burger.. They also have really good options for kids as well..my kids love the chicken strips & fish n chips! Plenty of parking and dine in seating as well..I would def recommend!“
“Visited Cafe Jane on a Tuesday around noonish. There was ample seating available and the wait time for our food to come out was very minimal. The americano was deliciously bold and my mom was delighted by their mocha. We shared two entrees: the breakfast sandwich and the orange french toast. The breakfast sandwich had really fluffy soft scrambled eggs and the brioche was a nice bite. The French toast was OuT oF tHIs WoRLd! - loads of citrus and balanced with the subtle sweetness of fried bananas. Will be back to try their rice bowls. Overall score: ?/?.“
“Some of the best burgers in alhambra IMHO. I especially like their 1/4 pounder burger with a soda and a side of fries which are rather tasty not greasy nor salty and a nice generous serving. When I place my order, the staff is very friendly and attentive from the time I place my other until I receive my meals. So, if you're looking for a nice meal at a nice price, then head over and grab yourself a burger at this establishment.“
“This is my favorite burger joint in town! If you go in go for the lunch special, get yourself a Broken Skull IPA, split a Mac and Cheese with someone, and get yourself the Stinkn' Bun (or any other of there awesome burgers!), and an order of fries! You won't regret it!Parking: Parking here can suck but you can usually find a space and if your willing to walk a bit there is a parking structure very close!“
“I used to come here when they were a Mexican establishment but I'm glad they reopened as Kings. Everything is dank and the portions are generous. Extremely reasonable prices for the amount of food. I recommend the breakfast burritos, chilaquiles (pictured), and the smash burgers. I am bummed they did away with the sipper fries however. 5/5 atmosphere based completely off the mural of Homero (pictured).Parking: There's an auxiliary lot on the other side of Hen's Tooth Squate“
“Goldburger is hands-down my favorite burger place in Highland Park. My go-to options are the classic, juicy Goldburger or the delectable, extra cheesy Patty Melt; I always modify them to add chopped chilies to round out and balance all of the hearty, rich, meaty and satisfying flavors. Their curly fries are blissful, delicately crunchy perfection. I usually get the handcrafted cane sugar cola or diet cola to pair with my burger and fries, both have a soothing, mellow, crisp and refreshing taste. You won’t want to miss out on the heaven for your taste buds that is Goldburger! Awesome, quick, and friendly service plus a laidback, inviting ambience make this local gem a no-brainer.“
“I've eaten here a few times now, but this experience was the first since before the pandemic. I am happy to report that the staff is just as friendly and the food is just as tasty as I remember.I love that not only I am able to completely customize my burger to my own exact preferences, but that is is encouraged! The toppings are delicious and varied, including vegan cheese and other allergy friendly options.Every option clearly lists calorie count so if you're watching your weight, this takes all the guess work out. It was really appreciated even though I totally went bonkers with extras because they all sounded so good. Oh well, we all need a cheat day once in a while.Dietary restrictions: Delicious vegan cheese and alternative meat options.“
“Delicious food, the owner behind the counter was the nicest person and gave me the best cookie while I waited! For the price the quality really can't be beat. I highly recommend. It's not a game changer to the food game, but the people and the food will warm your heart. In case they read this, I did finish both the chicken kabab and the gyro and it was delicious Sometimes you just need some home love with your food, and this is the place. Instantly better moods“
“The food was delicious! I had the surf and turf plate and my son got a cheeseburger. Also the homemade ranch is a must! The place does need a renovation, but please do not be deterred by this as the food and friendly staff make up for it. ✨️“
“Don't be fooled by the look of this place Once Upon a Time it used to be an in and out and now it's purchased by another vendor but it is so worth the money you spend there they have special sometimes on Wednesdays and Sundays I definitely will be back love the onion rings here and the burgers taste just like in and out fries are great too and the service is a plus all the stuff there seems to be very friendly“
“The vegan Oklahoma smash burger was so delicious, I considered getting a hotel near buy, just so I could have it again the next day! The Lord of the fries were great, and just a little bit spicy. I also had the tahini milk shake (vanilla). It had no business being as tasty as it was. I was skeptical, but it was creamy and smooth. It didn't taste exactly like an ice cream shake, but was close and had it's own delicious flavor. I'll try it with Oreo next time.Vegetarian options: Many (if not most) menu items can be made vegan. Like yummy vegan, not, replace the burger patty with a broccoli medley vegan.“
“Easy to order over the phone, and it was ready in 10 minutes. Fresh and delicious. Why would anyone want to wait in their car in a long line for a burger down the street?!Parking: Park right in front of the restaurant. Oodles of parking spaces. Always.Kid-friendliness: Booths or outdoor patio. Yell away, no one cares. Sports teams welcome.Wheelchair accessibility: Roll on in. Tables on the patio, wide doors. Easy-peasy.“
“California girl through and through, but I will take a Santa Barbara Char or Mushroom Char over In n Out almost any day of the week. Don't judge me; this is one girl's opinion. I always get onion rings with their homemade ranch. DELICIOUS!“
“By far the best cheeseburger I've ever had in my life and the best customer service that anyone can ask for. I highly recommend this place to anybody. And their prices are reasonable.Parking: You can usually pull right up front and park there until you get your food.“
“drove a customer to Los Angeles from Chula Vista (2 1/2 hours), I was hungry and checked Google for a hamburger spot. The closest one was Nick's (2 minutes away). The burger was delicious, and the fries were also delicious. The service was nice. lots of customers there. Yummy.“
“What an amazing local burger and breakfast joint! The food is both affordable and tasty. Servings are generously sized so you can leave full without breaking the bank. You can't go wrong with any of the burgers they have. If you don't feel like eating a burger, get the chili cheese fries--they're delicious! There's several tables inside and two outside. Service is great. I would recommend parking on the street right in front of the restaurant if you plan on dining in and you drive a sedan. It's hard to get out of the parking lot without scraping the bottom of your car.“
“We had to wait in drive thru for 38 mins due to the rain. It was horrible and parking wasnt super cramped so in this heavy rain was not a opposition either. Love the food here it never disappoints but there has to be a better plan for the rainy day.“
“I ordered a breakfast burrito with bacon & sausage. Delicious. They have tons of varieties for you to choose from.Yes, I can go to Denny's & get a grand slam, but I'd rather go to small businesses to support them.Bring cash. They do take credit card, but with a .75 cent charge.“
“Would 100% recommend if anyone is craving an Asada Burrito or Fish Taco. Make sure to ask for their salsa; it's not handed out by default. Fish taco comes with sour cream sauce and it's own pico. Definitely fan. I make it a point to grab lunch here on WFH daysParking: A few parking spaces behind and on the street.“
“Absolute LEGEND in this building. A pastrami dog with cheese and chili is a must, and a wet sandwich is the go-to. GRAVY with fries is phenomenal , try to get the fries "well done" and crispier rather than floppy if possible. Portions tend to be on the "in have to eat this with a fork and knife side" ???“
“First time here. Found this gem off Yelp and it did not disappoint! The owner knows how to serve delicious food! I was craving breakfast and my French toast combo was excellent! My son had the crispy chicken waffle sandwich and it looked great and he said it was really good. My daughter in love had the biscuits and gravy and I tried it as well -so flavorful!!! So do yourselves a favor and pay patronage to this local establishment! For those that remember the movie "Blood in, Blood out" he has a lot of movie memorabilia as decor so that was pretty cool as well!“
“I was working in this area. I asked one of my customers where is a good burger spot appointed me to polish palace burgers I was not disappointed. The price was great. I was getting amazing burger, thick fries, which tasted very good. Very nice family owned and operated people run this restaurant“
“Wanted a breakfast burrito so found the closest place to where I was at. Place is clean, lots of parking, and staff was friendly. Breakfast burrito was a good portion tasty but potatoes just need alittle more seasoning. French fries were cooked well and tasted really good. Would come back here.“
“Don’t shoot the messenger, but there’s no need to wait in line at In-N-Out ever again. Come to the Smash House. Great burgers, actually, flawless burgers, and five dollar Draft Modelo’s.Parking: Pull in market alley and park behind the cleaners. They share spots with smash house.“
“I went to the Hat because IG accounts seemed to say it had the best pastrami and it was good for certain. However, I wasn't prepared for the hole in the wall status of this place after driving from Inglewood all the way up there. The sandwich was a bit messy unlike the offering from Johnny's Pastrami in Culver City. Either way I'm not a big fan of pastrami to lend any weight in the review but definitely go try it. My wife had never had pastrami so I brought her there and she liked it.“
“Great food and great customer service. Lots of seating areas...Vegetarian options: Grill cheeseParking: Lots of parking spacesKid-friendliness: They give stickers to the kidsWheelchair accessibility: Lots of doors and easy wheelchair access“
“My experience with The Stand is always positive. Catering is awesome, shout out to Deanna Riker for making my clients experience exceptional. Food was great as always. Ease of ordering was a 10+! The homemade potato chips were a hit!Thank you for making my presentation to my clients a success!Vegetarian options: There were only a few that selected vegetarian options.Dietary restrictions: The Stand customized each order depending on the dietary restrictions“
“Lots of reasonably tasty options. The burgers are solid, but the go-to here is the crispy french fries or the very generous chili cheese fries. They do not mess around with the meat and cheese coverage (so you will have plenty to share) and the crispy fries hold up well to the gooey goodness on top.“
“Yum yum. If you plan to use drive through please drive north on orange from badillo. Do not try and make a left into the drive thru if you go south on orange from San Bernardino cuz it's rude and you won't be let in. Stop blocking traffic cuz you're too lazy or entitled to simply follow the line that's forming from badillo to make a right into the drive thru. I won't let you in get in line;!!!!!! :) ?“
“Stopped in found this spot on Yelp. It was empty when we got there but soon a crowd of people showed up. We were able to speak to a regular who raved about the burgers. So that made me feel good. We placed an order for 2 bacon cheeseburgers and a mushroom Swiss burger, an order of fries and chili cheese fries and 2 drinks. It took about 20 mins for our food to be done. Burgers were cooked perfectly. Fries were nice and hot and it wasn't overwhelming. The staff were great and the place was nice and clean. We will surely visit again if we're in town.“
“Helpful quick service. I've lived in the area for years and this is my first time here. Big thumbs up on the ugliest donut ever...but whoa so yum...I'm talking about the blueberry glazed donut. Not a pretty donut, but sooooo gooood. The apple fritter is my moms fav...its bigger than my face...the fritter got a huge smile of mom approval...mom said she'll will be eating this huge slab of fritter for a week. I also ordered the ice coffee...it was cold in a really sturdy cup and delish, super refreshing...my cousin got the lychee drink made to order, no boba asked for, done, also refreshing. Another cousin told me he visits nearly every day and recommended the Boston Creme too, next time. They make a nice variety of sandwiches, will come back to try the sandwiches and the Boston Creme donut. And gotta have another blueberry donut. In fact, I'm going back tomorrow to get a breakfast croissant and assorted bakers dozen...oh yeah...a gem of a donut shop in the SGV.“
“Food good as ever. Inside of restaurant is getting run down compared with previous visits 3+ years ago, not as clean. Hard time understanding when they called my number, so I assumed it was mine when nobody else went up. Personal annoyance: gave me 6 packages ketchup when I wanted none. Rest room clean.“
“I think this was our second time eating here...overall good experience! Usually we order fish & chips they're pretty good ? chicken strips as well..& the pastrami dip! They have a decent sized parking lot! And a bit of outdoor seating as well. Lot's of variety on the menu so def. good option for families or large groups! We will def be coming back soon!“
“I have been looking for a good burger that reminded me of this place I used to go to when I was younger and I finally found it!! It was absolutely DELICIOUS and fresh! Very very kind and friendly staff too. Definitely recommend this place!!“
“Stopped ln for what I though was going to be a small meal..boy was I wrongOrdered the $12 special.Came with a great hamburger.. seasoned fries..2 pieces of chicken..which was very good.. & even a cookie..wow!!What a meal..actually I couldn't eat it all..If your anywhere close to Irwindale Speedway..stop here 1st & chow down“
“Im a fan and enjoyed the food here. I like everything such as breakfast, sandwiches, Mexican dishes etc. The place is clean, the owner & server is friendly. The best part is I can ride my bike & park my bike infront where I can see my bike & enjoy eating inside.“
“Ok, I hadn't been here in years. To my surprise they are are still great. Burgers come with chopped lettuce, and you can ask for whole leaf. Get the fries with out salt and salt them yourself. They're pastrami is just as good as Lucky Boys or Tops.“
“I didn't eat inside but so far the food is good ? I have had fish sandwich, fries. Zucchini and ranch really good ?? and clam chowder, okay. Service is great I like the way they are doing things...grew up in the neighborhood and only visited “
“I don’t really come here often but I will definitely start! Ordered their special right now which is lemon Chickun Banh Mi sandwich and also ordered the spring rolls, and they were delicious!! Very flavorful and can’t wait to order it again.Vegetarian options: More vegan menus than vegetarian.“
“Best burger joint in BP. NOT ONLY ARE THEIR BURGERS BOMB But their entire menu is delicious.Vegetarian options: Lots of optionsDietary restrictions: Lot of optionsParking: Lots of lotsKid-friendliness: NoWheelchair accessibility: ADA compliant“
“Cannot recommend highly enough. One of the best pastrami sandwiches I’ve ever had. Restaurant has a fun vibe and a nice stop on the Route 66. No issues with service or staff. “The dip” is super good. Cute look and everything too. preserved history.“
“I have enjoyed Emmi's twice now for breakfast and lunch. Miy breakfast experience was excellent and I wanted to try lunch. My favorite burger is from In-N-Out. If you do like them you really must try Emmi's Smash Burger. Two thin patties, so the edges are crispy, and their special sauce on an excellent bun. Try not to go when it is busy as it slows done their service. Their staff is great, friendly, and attentive. While I miss the den ambiance of Bean Town, this is a bright, no-nonsense open dining space. I will be going back.“
