“Solid burger joint. I came in right before closing at 9:31pm and my food was ready within 5 minutes. Keep in mind I was the only customer in there and I was required to take the order to go. Ordered the bacon cheeseburger which was $7.98 ($8.80 after tax). Yes, it is a little pricey compared to other chain fast food places however the burger was well put together, generous amount of crispy bacon, burger not too messy and every time I took a bite I didn't want it to end. When you compare the price of the burger alone to other places as listed below, it's honestly not a bad deal. - In N Out off Atlantic: $5.65 before tax for Double Double - Lucky Boy Pasadena: $8.65 before tax for Bacon Burger Only knock on this place is the prices can get expensive for the combo. It costs $6.58 additional to upgrade from the entree to a combo (fries plus drink). In summary, I'll definitely be back to try other things on the menu :)“
“Great, spacious, tidy, clean, fast.Combo with plenty of potatoes. They constantly clean the tables.Huge free parking. The store has large windows that allow natural lighting inside the store. On the back of the sheets that go on the trays you can find ingenious drawings of entertaining games for children.Kind lady employee who works receiving and collecting orders was kind enough to give me another large sheet of paper to color.Kid-friendliness: Delicious soft chicken breast.“
“Really great spot for families and folks looking to have a relaxed casual meal or watch the game.Kid-friendliness: The environment is Kidd friendly and they have a great kids meal options like burger, hot dog, or grilled cheese etc. for $12 that comes with a side, a drink and a scoop of ice cream for dessert.“
“This place has one of the best burgers I’ve had in my life. Vibes are great, service very friendly, but things like chilis on the side ringing up as $3, or the double cheeseburger itself costing over 20 bucks, was just too wild to fathom here. My total was about $42 after tax / tip for a single cheeseburger, double, one order of garlic fries and a water. Outdoor seating was nice thanks to the decent weather.Still worth the 5 stars, but will be some time till I come back.Vegetarian options: Essentially none“
“Order the beef flap and chicken thigh. This place knows how to cook it to perfection. Also thier rice is absolutely delicious. Imean, you might say it's just rice, but this place elevates it to superstar status. It's so buttery and fluffy. Perfection! Served with a simple grilled tomato and peppers and a slice of lavash bread to round it all off. The staff is friendly and the food is hot and ready pretty quickly. Plenty of easy parking in thier lot. Easy in and out.“
“This is literally the funniest and fun beer bar I’ve ever been to,but I find myself addicted to their Caesar salads they find themselves addicted to my poor sense of humor. I find myself addicted to tipping them more. They find themselves addicted to inviting me more. we formed a perfect relationship, but I will tell you the service is great they’re extremely friendly and the food quality is incredible. This isn’t dive bar food. They have a really great area for outdoor seating right on the corner and they have a number of sandwiches. I’d like to try. They also offer vegan options, but the number of craft beers here are exceptional and I find this place so pleasant“
“The food is delicious! And the service is great! The cashier was kind and patient with all my questions. It was my first time having Peruvian food and it was delicious! I definitely would go back! There is a parking lot and they do take card. Only ordered a few things but can’t wait to go back and try more of their dishes.“
“Kevin I was so hungry when I got into a restaurant I didn't even take pictures of the food to post on the review. Darn it but I truly enjoyed our experience. I will most definitely come back I had the chicken sandwich with fries and barbecue sauce it's quite delicious. Also like the words that you have on the wall one of them says hard house is not yesterday's burgers and Fries joints that's because it's instead of meat base it's plant-based rather than being about everyone it's anyone's for everyone. Yeah I really enjoyed it I always judge a restaurant of how clean the bathroom is bathroom is spectacularly clean I think you need a little bit more workers up here because the line got real long and the two workers you got working couldn't keep upVegetarian options: Everything on the menu is vegetarian“
“BEST BURGER OF MY LIFE! Holy smokes this burger is phenomenal! I usually skip burgers but I will go out of my way for this burger. Hands down greatest burger I will ever eat. The meat and cheese is fresh and warm. It’s tasty and the fries are crazy smacking good! The seasoning is so good. Please if you love hamburger try this place at least once! It’s worth a shot!“
“I've been following the Chef Lemos' progress with development of this restaurant and after the success of Wax Paper I was really excited to try it. My wife and I stopped in for brunch on Sunday. Outdoor patio has a good deal of seating in the front and a lot in the back, but the front has a view of the river, which you can also hear occasionally when an obnoxious and pretentious woman isn't drowning everything else out (that's not a knock on the restaurant, just the hipster attitude of some people). The food and drink options are solid. I got the breakfast burrito which was excellent and my wife had the eggs 'n' curds which she enjoyed. The star of the meal was her brunch cocktail, the Superbloom which came at the suggestion of our server. My wife mentioned she could have enjoyed a pitcher of it, especially in the outstanding weather we had. Caution to driving in, however, the construction of several apartment buildings is a little potentially rough on your tires so be mindful. I look forward to returning for dinner in the future. Keep it up Pete!“
“I used to come here when they were a Mexican establishment but I'm glad they reopened as Kings. Everything is dank and the portions are generous. Extremely reasonable prices for the amount of food. I recommend the breakfast burritos, chilaquiles (pictured), and the smash burgers. I am bummed they did away with the sipper fries however. 5/5 atmosphere based completely off the mural of Homero (pictured).Parking: There's an auxiliary lot on the other side of Hen's Tooth Squate“
“Quick and fast taco stands. Now they support the credit card payment. Eric is welcoming and serves the neighborhood very well until the midnight. The protein of stewed pork and the al pastor is nice while I hope they could use corn tortillas instead of the flour ones.“
“WOW! Truly a hidden gem. I got the District Fries...they are awesome. Others got various burgers...they are outstanding This place is amazing...delicious...fast...friendly...reasonably priced. And did I say the food is wonderful...yes I did. If or whenever you are in the fashion district in los Angeles...you MUST visit the Burger District. Thoroughly enjoyed this culinary experience.“
“We had to wait in drive thru for 38 mins due to the rain. It was horrible and parking wasnt super cramped so in this heavy rain was not a opposition either. Love the food here it never disappoints but there has to be a better plan for the rainy day.“
“This food truck was outside of paperback brewing - so so good!! I got the birria fries - amazing. So much meat, perfect amount of flavor- overall great. The guys in the truck were so helpful and kind. Overall amazing and will def be back to try other foods!!“
“My first time coming to Sushito, and will definitely be back again once my mom and I get a craving for teriyaki bowls! Was greeted very well, lady in front was very friendly, polite, and patient when I asked her questions about the menu. Was also told about their buy 2 bowls/plates get 1 free on Tuesdays!“
“A no-frills "fast food" spot. They have a very diverse menu consisting of American, Mexican, and Chinese food. I have yet to try any other item besides the burgers and fried zucchini, which I'm a fan of. The service is quick and your food is cooked to order. The burgers are a great size and delicious! Also, do yourself a favor and get the fried zucchini. The batter is nice and crispy, and the zucchini is sliced thick.“
“I have enjoyed Emmi's twice now for breakfast and lunch. Miy breakfast experience was excellent and I wanted to try lunch. My favorite burger is from In-N-Out. If you do like them you really must try Emmi's Smash Burger. Two thin patties, so the edges are crispy, and their special sauce on an excellent bun. Try not to go when it is busy as it slows done their service. Their staff is great, friendly, and attentive. While I miss the den ambiance of Bean Town, this is a bright, no-nonsense open dining space. I will be going back.“
“Fun and popular! I have never seen an In-N-Out drive up that did not have a line of cars blocks long...so we decided to try this location, as there is no drive up at all. We went to a late lunch, thinking it would nit be too crowded. Wrong again! There was a human line practically out the door at 2 pm on a Saturday. Order order number was 74 and they were calling out number 45 at the time. The place was packed and we had to wait for a table as well as the food. The staff are friendly and extremely efficient - they got to our order much faster than I anticipated. You could see the seamless hierarchy of who does what in the open kitchen. Everyone was working in their area non stop to get the food out, hot and correct. As In-N-Out only serves burgers and fries, the fact that they are doing an incredible business at every location is evidence that they know burgers and fries. They do not seem to need to expand the menu.Dietary restrictions: Not many options if any for vegans or vegetarians that I saw.Parking: Although the Galleria and the Americana are within walking distance, on a weekend those parking facilities were very busy and crowded. There was a paid lot close by, one that only took ApplePay through a QR code. The free street parking all around the area was filledWe wound up parking a few blocks down at a meter on Broadway.Kid-friendliness: Kids love burgers and fries.“
“I came here today for the first time and the food was great, there was barely a line before the lunch rush, the amount of food you get is better than in n out in my opinion for the price you you pay, there is parking on the street and a very small parking lot on the side but looks like the parking lot is for residential parking. Either way I do recommend trying this place at least once .“
“Would 100% recommend if anyone is craving an Asada Burrito or Fish Taco. Make sure to ask for their salsa; it's not handed out by default. Fish taco comes with sour cream sauce and it's own pico. Definitely fan. I make it a point to grab lunch here on WFH daysParking: A few parking spaces behind and on the street.“
“Cute and vintage on the inside, too nice though to not sit on the sidewalk patio. Prices are steeper than indicated--$$-$$$. So much gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan selection though, and safely labeled. As in they seem to really understand cross contamination and not joist call something GF even though it then goes in the frier. Anyway, all day breakfast with both the enchiladas and juevos rancheros we're truly out of this world. The sauces, the fresh guac, cilantro, came out hot and so visually appealing I didn't stop to take a photo. Shakes were unbelievably creamy. Kids had what looked like the best burgers of their lives on fresh toasted rolls, thick melty cheese, and lacy crisp edges on the beef. The onion rings looked, sounded, and smelled amazing but I didn't eat one... gluten. Would absolutely come back, highly recommended!Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegan options, offered impossible to protein upgrade entries.Dietary restrictions: Seem to truly get cross contamination.“
“The food was great and fairly priced! Only complaint (which I won't remove any stars for) is that it took a while to get our food out to us. It seemed like there were only 2 people working and everything was fresh and made to order, like I said it wasn't a problem for us but I can see that it would be for someone in a rush. There are quite a few seats indoors and out, it's a nice place to grab a great tasting burger or chicken sandwich. We aren't in that area often but I would definitely return!“
“Visited Cafe Jane on a Tuesday around noonish. There was ample seating available and the wait time for our food to come out was very minimal. The americano was deliciously bold and my mom was delighted by their mocha. We shared two entrees: the breakfast sandwich and the orange french toast. The breakfast sandwich had really fluffy soft scrambled eggs and the brioche was a nice bite. The French toast was OuT oF tHIs WoRLd! - loads of citrus and balanced with the subtle sweetness of fried bananas. Will be back to try their rice bowls. Overall score: ?/?.“
“Food was good. Server was slow and had to be reminded a few times to bring all the things we had asked for. Also heard our server yelling bendejo at another server loudly. Not cool in front of my 88 year old mom. Had to wait a long time for the check after we were finished which was irritating as we wanted to get home.“
“I am in LOVE with this place, found it by "mistake" looking for roastbeef and pastrami sandwiches, and ended up finding all in 1. We went to eat ( all my family) and we were so satisfied with the price, the food and the customer service! The servers are super nice and attentive. We didn't know what to order, and they were very patient and helpful. Will definitely go back again!Just an extra: if you like onion rings, I must say this one's the BEST!!“
“We enjoyed our meal. The service was top-notch and very friendly. Adrien, the manager, was wonderful and assured my friend that she could eat without fear of her allergies to nuts and shellfish. We both got burgers and fries-- mine was the veggie burger. I would eat there again.Vegetarian options: The veggie burger was the best I've ever had. It was full of flavor!Dietary restrictions: My friend has allergies to nuts and shellfish and was able to eat here.“
“The burger was incredibly filling, and flavor profile very balanced with arugula, blue cheese, carmelized onions. I got a side Caesar and the croutons are surprisingly memorable. My colleague got the chicken piccatta and said it was delicious. The wait staff was very polite and food came out pretty quick given they seem to have a fairly busy lunch crowd. I can see why people come here repeatedly for lunch. It's reliable, great quality, and decently elegant ambiance.“
“I love montys. They have great meals and meal boxes and shakes. I finally got their burger and personally I'd highly recommend their chicken instead because I feel like I've had better vegan burgers but they gave me a very generous portion of fries. Service is nice and there is decent seating. Parking is street parking.“
“Goldburger is hands-down my favorite burger place in Highland Park. My go-to options are the classic, juicy Goldburger or the delectable, extra cheesy Patty Melt; I always modify them to add chopped chilies to round out and balance all of the hearty, rich, meaty and satisfying flavors. Their curly fries are blissful, delicately crunchy perfection. I usually get the handcrafted cane sugar cola or diet cola to pair with my burger and fries, both have a soothing, mellow, crisp and refreshing taste. You won’t want to miss out on the heaven for your taste buds that is Goldburger! Awesome, quick, and friendly service plus a laidback, inviting ambience make this local gem a no-brainer.“
“In n Out jas had this long standing of good food, reasonably priced that is serves quickly. And they still stand by it. Never been to one that didn't stand by this. Had a late night burger here and although there was about 12 cats ahead of us we were only there dir what seemed like 10 mins from arrival to departure. Service with a smile as always.“
“Delicious burgers with lots of options. Milkshakes are yummy. Sides are nice too. Several different iterations of fries. Staff is always super friendly and helpful. My go-to option when I want a mushroom burger. Also part of the five star network so you can sign in with your phone number and earn rewards.Wheelchair accessibility: One level mall with handicap spaces and ramps.“
“I lost my favorite local burger joint years ago... I couldn't find anything after that was delicious. I love visiting Alhambra/ S. Pasadena area and have seen Pharos countless times. I finally tried it for the first time last month and I have already been there four times after. It's definitely delicious and a neat place to enjoy your meal solo or with people. The staff are very friendly and assist very professionally. Not too many of the original burger places out there anymore that are good but Pharaohs is DEFINITELY a place to enjoy a delicious old fashioned burger! I look forward to trying more things on the menu!Vegetarian options: Grilled cheese and salads.Parking: I haven't had difficulty finding parking so far.Kid-friendliness: Meals for kids as well.Wheelchair accessibility: Flat surface to the entrance so it's very accessible.“
“The reviews are legit! Blue Bird serves up super fresh, tasty, juicy burgers from an unassuming location. Yes, it's inside an alcohol and convenience store. There's a counter serve grill in the back where they cook up the burgers. The owner Tony was very friendly and pleasant to talk with. I felt he was genuinely interested in connecting with me as a person. That was an awesome surprise! Thanks for making good burgers and an affordable price. I paid $10 for the burger. Note: The burgers are very juicy, so keep that in mind while eating and transporting it. I wouldn't wait too long to eat it after it's prepared. Enjoy!“
“Helpful quick service. I've lived in the area for years and this is my first time here. Big thumbs up on the ugliest donut ever...but whoa so yum...I'm talking about the blueberry glazed donut. Not a pretty donut, but sooooo gooood. The apple fritter is my moms fav...its bigger than my face...the fritter got a huge smile of mom approval...mom said she'll will be eating this huge slab of fritter for a week. I also ordered the ice coffee...it was cold in a really sturdy cup and delish, super refreshing...my cousin got the lychee drink made to order, no boba asked for, done, also refreshing. Another cousin told me he visits nearly every day and recommended the Boston Creme too, next time. They make a nice variety of sandwiches, will come back to try the sandwiches and the Boston Creme donut. And gotta have another blueberry donut. In fact, I'm going back tomorrow to get a breakfast croissant and assorted bakers dozen...oh yeah...a gem of a donut shop in the SGV.“
“Don’t shoot the messenger, but there’s no need to wait in line at In-N-Out ever again. Come to the Smash House. Great burgers, actually, flawless burgers, and five dollar Draft Modelo’s.Parking: Pull in market alley and park behind the cleaners. They share spots with smash house.“
“You never go wrong eating at The Hat! Whether you're a burger or sandwich lover..you'll find something delicious to enjoy. If you love French fries..and who doesn't...The Hat has a variety of fries cooked to order... some to consider: pastrami fries, chili fries, chili-cheese fries, gravy-covered fries, and more.. plus any other toppings you can think of.. like onion, tomato, pickles... and it goes on and on. Enjoy!“
“Knew of this place for a while from the neighborhood. This day I was just walking by and decided to stop in. I got a kick out of the menu names and also chatted with the owner. Friendly service and I must say I wasn't disappointed. I may stop in once a week until I've tried every item. No, I'm being for real. All freshly made and takes phone orders.Vegetarian options: I didn't read in detail but did notice it on the menu.Wheelchair accessibility: I did notice a wheelchair accessible sign“
“A really wonderful place, owned and operated by a wonderful family who cares about the ambiance, experience, food and service they provide to the Montrose Community. I work just a few minutes away and often stop by for a quick breakfast or cup of coffee and its always a treat. Grateful to have them nearby!“
“Love these burgers! Fresh, well seasoned, well portioned for the price. The Hawaiian burger is my favorite with the seasoned or sweet potato fries. ? They also offer you specialty sources that take their burgers to the next level. The portion is always generous here. The customer service is a little bland but you go for the food so it's totally worth it. 1000 times yes to So-Cal burgers.Parking: The parking lot is shared with other stores in the shopping center but you always find parking they have a big parking lot.“
“Great food, friendly service, and gigantic portions. Ordered a combo side of fries and onion rings and it was basically a platter. Huge burritos; I split a breakfast burrito with my wife and we’re both satisfied. Great classic burger. Glad to have this spot in the neighborhood.“
“I have been looking for a good burger that reminded me of this place I used to go to when I was younger and I finally found it!! It was absolutely DELICIOUS and fresh! Very very kind and friendly staff too. Definitely recommend this place!!“
“Great spot for smash burgers at a great price. The dipped cones are gigantic and are ready before the rest of your meal. We got the peanut buddy cone. The fries here are some of the best in the city and you get a decent amount for the price. The shaved kale salad is one of my favorite salads in the city. It’s topped with a healthy amount of pecorino and the portion is great for under $8.“
“The food is delicious and their prices are more than reasonable. The presentation of the food shows the Chefs are highly trained. Before we left, one of the chefs brought out a pop tart for our 18 month old. This is one of my favorite places to grab a bite.“
“Its always good for some ice cream, especially if you’re in for trying a new ice cream mixture. Highly recommended it is a staple to the community, and a tradition to go on Sundays for my family . Thanks fosters freeze for the great ice cream and memories!“
“The food is solid. The service is solid. Their menu has so many choices! You can get almost anything, but it's all solid. Nothing loosey goosey. I had their BLAT, bacon lettuce tomatoe avocado sandwich, and it was solid. It had creamy ripe avocados and thick crunchy bacon. And I also had their fried zucchini. Perfect! I also tasted their chili cheese fries, with thin julien fries, which was perfect with the chili, not too heavy like the thick cut fries. I need to go back to try their other good eats. Oh, I forgot to mention their pastrami... wow! It was so good. Maybe better than The Hat's! Go try!“
“Tamsin is odd in that they are a particular kind of place a throwback to another time and it is that nostalgic element that brings people back. The menu is just the right amount of wrong. I suspect at some point they will have to embrace the nutritional social and environmental world it IS a part of but for now as a greasy spoon it spoons quite nicely“
“I ordered the fix on fire and onion rings. My wife and daughter also ate, I forgot what they ordered but I know they liked it, and my daughter loved the shake. My wife said she didn’t like the onion rings, but I liked em. I would definitely eat there again.Parking: Parking in the back, the street parking is clunky.“
“I was skeptical because of how it looked on the outside, but let me tell you the inside is a whole new world. Cozy sized. There's a window to order and for pick up. You can see the cook make your food fresh. The lady that takes your order is so friendly and gives you a feeling of being at home. The food OMG I thought I was over spending but no no. The portions were righteous. The taste was even better. Now, I know y'all don't know me, but I cannot eat too much meat before it hurts my teeth and the asada meat was perfect. The tortillas freshly made, not heated in a microwave. Rice and beans were good. Salad was a good portion. I ordered the ranch on the side, it's just a personal preference. Taquitos were just right. Not too hard or too soft. I had to force the last 2 bites of my food.Good place to go eat.Parking: On site parking available“
“This is one of the biggest Habit's I've ever been to, feels gigantic, but plenty of parking. The staff was super friendly and the food was fast and on point. Excellent location for lunch after a walk through the nearby Huntington “
