I live on the East Coast now, but this place opened in 1963, the year I started eighth grade at the private school just down the boulevard and my mom occasionally took us there for pie after school.So when I was in Pasadena a couple months ago, I saw the 60th anniversary 1963–2023 signs and decided to go in for old times sake. What a great little eatery! Bring kesh monies, no plastic accepted here. Had a cheeseburger with onions, fries, cherry Coke and a DELICIOUS Strawberry shake... damn my lactose intolerance!!! No more room for pie. Gotta come back.

Nothing but quality throughout this whole menu. I ordered a simple double cheeseburger and it was absolutely packed with flavor from the fresh ground beef to the creamy thousand island.I heard it once, but I’ll say it here. This burger is the high quality version of an In N Out double-double. Totally love both of them, but this is a nice treat to enjoy once in a while.
