This place has one of the best burgers I’ve had in my life. Vibes are great, service very friendly, but things like chilis on the side ringing up as $3, or the double cheeseburger itself costing over 20 bucks, was just too wild to fathom here. My total was about $42 after tax / tip for a single cheeseburger, double, one order of garlic fries and a water. This is my 100th time dining Amboy. I have to say these burgers are fire!!! I hardly give 5 star reviews and there's A reason why this place gets it. There staff Is consistent and friendly and they make great burgers every time. Wow! Wow! Wow! I had this bookmarked for what feels like years and now wish I had gone much, much sooner. It's a burger joint. You can also get a grilled cheese or hot dog, but if you come here get the burger. Located in the same busy DTLA Chinatown mini mall that the original Howlin' Rays is situated in, I assume parking is a general nightmare on weekdays and weekend nights.
